Dafydd Rhys Williams OC OOnt CCFP FCFP FRCPC FRCP (born May 16, 1954) is a Canadian physician, public speaker, CEO, author and a retired CSA astronaut. Williams was a mission specialist on two space shuttle missions. His first spaceflight, STS-90 in 1998, was a 16-day mission aboard Space Shuttle Columbia dedicated to neuroscience research. His second flight, STS-118 in August 2007, was flown by Space Shuttle Endeavour to the International Space Station.

After returning from injury, Glick hired a personal trainer to stay return to match fitness. He also had an unsuccessful trial with Toronto FC in the American MLS, later San Jose Earthquakes and Columbus Crew in May 2008. In May 2009, Glick moved to Australian club FC Oont, on a free transfer. He has subsequently been named captain and helped the team to a runners up finish for the 2010 season, scoring a few key goals in the process.

Gwenneth (Gwen) M. Boniface, COM, OOnt (born 5 August 1955) is a Canadian police officer, lawyer, and the former Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) ending in 2006 after the Caledonia, Ontario occupation, she over saw. She is the first woman to hold this position. She is also the first female President of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, and the first Canadian to hold the Vice Chair of the Division of State and Provincial Police of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

Chandrakant Shah, OOnt, is a Canadian doctor, researcher and social activist. Shah is the clinical coordinator of Anishnawbe Health Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Basodee: An Anthology Dedicated to Black Youth (2012), edited by Fiona Raye Clarke, is a youth-created and youth-centred anthology created by a Black writing collective in honour of Black History Month, and authentic diversity in Canada. It highlights the Black Canadian experience and to promote awareness about the complexities of contemporary Black youth experience in Ontario. The book consists of a foreword by the President of the Ontario Black History Society, Rosemary Sadlier, OOnt and work by various youth on issues of identity, belonging, and Canadian Black History. The anthology was created in partnership with the Office of the Provincial Advocate of Children and Youth in Ontario a commission of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario which puts youth at its centre and uses rights to improve the lives and conditions of youth in systems of care in Ontario.

This committee then meets once or twice yearly to make its selected recommendations to the Cabinet and works with that body in narrowing down the potential appointees to a list that will be submitted to the lieutenant governor. Since appointments to the Order of Ontario rely in part on ministerial advice, records of such proceedings are not publicly revealed, as affirmed in court proceedings undertaken in 2002 by an individual who had been mistakenly informed that she had been appointed to the order. Posthumous nominations are not accepted, though an individual who dies after his or her name was submitted to the Honours and Awards Secretariat can still be retroactively made a Member of the Order of Ontario. The lieutenant governor, ex officio a Member and the Chancellor of the Order of Ontario, then makes all appointments into the fellowship's single grade of membership by an Order in Council that bears the viceroyal sign-manual; thereafter, the new Members are entitled to use the post-nominal letters OOnt.
