Wright began para-curling in 2008 and played for Team Saskatchewan at their first Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship. Within two years, she achieved her Level 1 Officiation certification and volunteered at the 2010 Saskatchewan Winter Games curling competition as a timer. During the 2012 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship, Wright helped Team Saskatchewan win their first National Wheelchair Title. Wright competed with Team Saskatchewan at the 2016 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship and 2017 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship.

The constitution of Nauru establishes the freedom of conscience and expression, although it provides that these rights may be limited by any law which is "reasonably required". Rabbi Simeon J. Maslin (served 1979-1997) After the death of Rabbi Korn, Rabbi Simeon J. Maslin (1931-) became the senior rabbi at KI. When he arrived he was already a distinguished Rabbinic leader, known in part for his public speaking and oratory. He was a leading voice in the reform movement against rabbinic officiation at interfaith weddings. This was an enormously contentious issue in the Reform Movement. Initially the Reform Movement followed Maslin's lead, but since about the year 2000 most (but not all) Reform Rabbis have been willing to perform such marriages.

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 16, 1954, Rank attended the University of Minnesota for his undergraduate degree and earned his MA and rabbinic ordination at the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1981. Rank served, from his ordination until 1987, as the spiritual leader at Congregation Shomrei Emunah in Montclair, New Jersey, followed by twelve years as the Rabbi of Temple Beth Ahm (now merged and renamed as Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael) in Springfield, New Jersey. In 1998, the Rabbinical Assembly published Rank's edited volume, Moreh Derekh, a guide to rabbinic officiation at life cycle events in accordance with contemporary Conservative Jewish practice and thought, replacing Conservative clergy's theretofore most recent life cycle manual (which was, at the time, 33 years old). Moreh Derekh remains in use today, even among rabbis of multiple denominations outside Conservative Judaism itself.

The Apartheid government retained and continued on from 1948 with even more officiation and policing on racial oppression of Bantu-speaking peoples of South Africa for 48 years. Decades before the inception of Apartheid there was a Rand Rebellion uprising in 1922 which eventually became an open rebellion against the state, it was against mining companies whose efforts at the time, due to economic situations, were nullifying irrational oppression of natives in the work place. The pogroms and slogans used in the uprising against blacks by whites articulated that irrationally oppressing Bantu-speaking peoples of South Africa was much more a social movement in European communities in the 20th century South Africa, before ever becoming government in 1948 which happened through a discriminatory vote by only white, minority people in South Africa, that formed a racist, well resourced and a police state of an illegitimate government for nearly 50 years. In the 1930s, this irrational oppression/discrimination was already well supported by propaganda, e.g.
