Coastal ecosystems are facing further changes because of rising sea levels. Some ecosystems can move inland with the high-water mark, but others are prevented from migrating due to natural or artificial barriers.

Several expeditions have connected two or more caves together. This tendency to explore water filled caves has been extended abroad to such places as the Bahamas, where there are flooded ocean blue holes. These have been explored by British divers since the early 1980s; several have been connected. CDG members have been active in exploring many sites in Europe and further afield, often using or pioneering the cutting edge of technology.

614 + 934 + 934 + 614 Fürth (Bay) Hbf, June 1987 The first series to be delivered, which went to Nuremberg depot, were painted in the contemporary 'pop' colour scheme. This was later changed on the 614 to a blood orange window stripe on a gravel grey background. This livery was retained until the coaches were modernised. The second series, delivered to Brunswick depot, was supplied in ocean-blue and beige.

Lupinus nanus ("sky lupine", "field lupine", "dwarf lupin", "ocean-blue lupine" or "Douglas' annual lupine"), is a species of lupine native to the western United States. It is found natively in California, Nevada, and on Steens Mountain in eastern Oregon. It tends to be found growing on slopes and in open or disturbed areas below 1300 meters. It grows tall with blue flowers containing white or yellow spots.

An early Yiddish adaptation of Pinafore, called Der Shirtz (Yiddish for "apron") was written by Miriam Walowit in 1949 for a Brooklyn, New York Hadassah group; they toured the adaptation,Gale, Joseph. "Yiddish version of Penzance Takes Self Too Seriously", Jewish Post (Marion County, Indiana), May 9, 1952, p. 14 and they recorded 12 of the songs.Falkenstein, Michelle. Having already written most of the third album, Clapp and Pries decided to record the album with Bryan Hanna in Minneapolis. Joining them were multi-instrumentalist Oed Ronne and drummer Peter Anderson, both from The Ocean Blue. Hanna also drummed on the sessions. Ronne and Anderson had played with Clapp and Pries in late fall in New York on a tour for Clapp's second solo album, Available Light.

With support from Beach Boys members Carl Wilson and Mike Love, they were signed to A&M; Records and made another album, titled King Harvest but it failed to achieve any hits, and they subsequently broke up. Novak, Altbach, Tuleja, and Figueroa toured with the Beach Boys. Tuleja and Novak played on Dennis Wilson's 1977 solo Pacific Ocean Blue, while Altbach and Robinson performed with Mike Love in his band, Celebration.

She wrote for seasons 1-3 of the Netflix original series Orange Is the New Black before taking time off from that job to direct the film Tallulah. In 2015, Sian Heder directed Tallulah, starring Ellen Page and Allison Janney. Tallulah was backed by Route One Entertainment, Maiden Voyages Pictures and Ocean Blue Entertainment. The film was set to premier as one of 65 films selected for Sundance Film Festival January 21–31 in Utah.

Chris Columbus developed the film through his 1492 Pictures banner and helped the film financing by Ocean Blue Entertainment. FilmDistrict acquired the US distribution rights in 2013, which were later transferred to Focus Features in 2014. Filming began on September 15, 2014, in Matera and Rome, Italy. Although the film was known throughout production as Christ the Lord, Focus Features announced on September 1, 2015 that it would now be called The Young Messiah.

The Ateneo has adopted blue and white, the colors of Mary, as its official school colors. Marian blue is traditionally ultramarine, an expensive, ocean-blue tincture derived from ground lapis lazuli that was historically used in paintings to identify the Virgin Mary. Mary is honored as Stella Maris ("Star of the Sea") and Queen of Heaven, other shades such as royal blue and sky blue, are commonly used as symbols of Mary.

The analog sticks are also noticeably stiffer than on the original DualShock. Internally, the DualShock 2 was lighter and all of the buttons (except for the Analog mode, start, select, L3 and R3 buttons) were readable as analog values (pressure-sensitive). The DualShock 2 has been made available in various colors: black, satin silver, ceramic white, slate grey, ocean blue, emerald green, crimson red, and candy pink. The original PlayStation is forward compatible with the DualShock 2.

An enhanced version called Star Ocean: The Last Hope International edition was later released as a PS3 exclusive worldwide in the first quarter of 2010. This port included the Japanese audio, new character portraits, as well as a few other new features exclusive to that version. Star Ocean: The Last Hope is also available on Steam as 4K & Full HD Remaster. Star Ocean: Blue Sphere remains the only game in the series not released outside Japan in any form.

Full production by MAN SE and the Uerdingen Waggonfabrik began in 1973. The first series of 25 three-coach units was delivered at the time when so-called "pop liveries" were in vogue and so they were painted in stone-grey and orange. Immediately following the first batch were the 15 units of the second series delivered in 1975 and stabled at Brunswick locomotive depot. In April 2018, the Standard G was replaced by a GXtra variant. The GXtra comes with an enhanced kit list, where side skirts and chrome door handles have been added to the exterior. There’s also a new Ocean Blue exterior colour available – an option that was previously reserved for 1.3L variants of the Bezza. Piano black trim has been applied on the dashboard and panel surrounding the multimedia system, which itself has been improved with Bluetooth connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (stylized as Samsung Galaxy Note9) is an Android- based phablet designed, developed, produced and marketed by Samsung Electronics as part of the Samsung Galaxy Note series. It was awarded the "Best Phone of the Year" award by Consumer Reports. It was unveiled on 9 August 2018, as the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It is available in six colours (Ocean Blue, Midnight Black, Lavender Purple, Metallic Copper, Cloud Silver, and Alpine White).

The Sorcerer and Poo are on the pirate ship ("Pour, oh pour the pirate sherry"). Rose Maybud, disguised as a pirate, sneaks aboard. Meanwhile, the Captain, accompanied by the Judge, Major-General, Rear-Admiral takes command of the 'Pinafore' ("When I was a lad"; "We sail the ocean blue"; and "I am the Captain of the Pinafore"). They pursue the pirate ship, assisted by two giant cherubs ("Go, ye heroes"); meanwhile Poo overfeeds the Sorcerer who gets seasick and hands over the Secret.

Jeff Lundrigan reviewed the PlayStation version of the game for Next Generation stated that "It has its pluses and minuses, but they balance out to one of the most average RPGs you can imagine." Star Ocean: Blue Spheres popularity in Japan, primarily for its story and gameplay systems, prompted tri-Ace to remake it for mobile devices. The remake included redrawn graphics and a remastered soundtrack. Initially, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time received a somewhat negative impression in Japan.

Blue whales can best be found off Reykjavík and Húsavík in Iceland from May to August. Around the Azores, the best chance to see blue whales is February to March. In the Indian Ocean, blue whales can be seen off Mirissa, Sri Lanka in March and April. In the Southern Hemisphere, blue whales can be seen in Gulf of Corcovado between Guaitecas Archipelago, Chiloé Island, and the Chilean mainland, and off the west coast of Chiloe Island from December through March.

On March 23, 2015, it was announced that Joe Kelly and Ken Niimura's graphic novel I Kill Giants was being adapted into a live-action feature film, for which Kelly would write the screenplay. Chris Columbus came on board to produce the film through his 1492 Pictures, along with Ocean Blue Entertainment, Man of Action Studios and XYZ Films. Treehouse would fully finance the film, while XYZ would handle the international sales. Anders Walter would make his feature film directing debut.

Initial machines were delivered in altrot (antique red), with side skirts and ventilation grills dark grey, and the roof light grey. The museum locomotive 216 221 still bears the 'altrot' livery. In January 1975, 216 071 was the first locomotive to be painted in the then new ocean blue- beige color scheme. In February 1988 216 068 was the first locomotive of this series to receive the somewhat unpopular orientrot livery – an orient red lacquer with a white "bib" on the front.

Pacific Ocean Blue is the debut solo album by American songwriter-musician Dennis Wilson, co-founder of the Beach Boys, and the only one to be released in his lifetime. When released in August 1977, it was warmly received critically, and noted for outselling the Beach Boys' contemporary efforts. Two singles were issued from the album, "River Song" and "You and I", which did not chart. The album remains a focal point of Wilson's legacy, being referred to as a "classic".

A limited edition 180-gram vinyl multi-LP box set was also released on the Sundazed label. Notable on the reissue is the inclusion of the song "Holy Man", recorded for Pacific Ocean Blue in 1977, in two versions. Wilson had completed work on the instrumental backing track but never finished a satisfactory vocal, erasing an original attempt. For the reissue, Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters was recruited to record a vocal version in Wilson's style given their similarities.

The song's original lyricist, Gregg Jakobson, was tapped to help recall the song's original melody and to write lyrics for the song. In 2009, Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor contributed vocals. Despite missing the UK Album Chart on its original 1977 release, the expanded reissue of Pacific Ocean Blue entered the UK album chart at #16, also reaching #5 on the Norway album chart. In addition, the package managed to reach #8 on Billboard's Top Pop Catalog Albums chart.

A small calibration error for the Topex/Poseidon satellite was eventually identified as having caused a slight overestimation of the 1992–2005 sea levels, that masked the ongoing sea level rise acceleration. Satellites are useful for measuring regional variations in sea level, such as the substantial rise between 1993 and 2012 in the western tropical Pacific.

Friends received favorable reviews in the music press, but like their records since Smiley Smile (1967), the album's simplicity divided critics and fans. It was the last LP in which Brian was credited on most of the tracks until 1977's The Beach Boys Love You. Despite the failure of a collaborative tour with the Maharishi, the group remained supporters of him and his teachings. Dennis contributed more songs on later Beach Boys albums, eventually culminating in a solo record, 1977's Pacific Ocean Blue.

Bambu began production in 1978 at Brother Studios in Santa Monica with the collaboration of then Beach Boys keyboardist and Dennis Wilson's close friend Carli Muñoz as songwriter and producer. The first four songs that were officially recorded for Bambu were Muñoz's compositions: "It's Not Too Late", "Constant Companion", "All Alone", and "Under the Moonlight". The project was initially scuttled by lack of financing and the distractions of simultaneous Beach Boys projects. Bambu was released in 2008 along with the Pacific Ocean Blue reissue.

Despite Dennis claiming the album had "no substance", Pacific Ocean Blue received positive reviews and later developed status as a cult item. The album remained largely out of print between the 1990s and 2000s. In June 2008, it was reissued on CD as an expanded edition. It was voted the 2008 "Reissue of the Year" in both Rolling Stone, and Mojo magazines and made No. 16 on the British LP charts and No. 8 on both the Billboard Catalog chart and the Billboard Internet Sales chart.

The first five TuHi locos still had the classic ocean blue and beige livery, the later eight engines were painted orient red. To achieve greater recognisability against the emergency wagon, the locos were painted in luminous red. Numbers 714 003, 714 008, 714 009, 714 011, 714 014 and 714 015 have this livery, as do the wagons in the Rtz at Würzburg, Fulda and Hildesheim. Due to the rapid fading of the luminous red paint, all engines and wagons were subsequently repainted in traffic red.

Originally the class E 10 units were delivered in cobalt blue express train livery, the blue indicating that they were cleared for a maximum speed of or more. Starting in 1974, as part of other maintenance, the new ocean blue/beige colour scheme was applied to the locomotives. From 1987 the (then- current) orient-red was used, which was then substituted, starting in 1997, with the traffic red (verkehrsrot) concept, which is the current colour of all active locomotives of this class, barring a few exceptions.

WAM archives 2002 Red Jezebel released the single "Wide Open Spaces" in October 2003, which received widespread airplay in Australia. Revelations was the band's first album and was released on the Perth-based label Sunday Ride Records with an MGM distribution. It was recorded by Dave Parkin at Blackbird Studios in Western Australia. The album includes the songs "Wide Open Spaces", "Ocean Blue Eyes", "Devil’s Advocate", "You’re Making Me Nervous" and "See Through Dress", all of which received heavy rotation on Triple J. The album demonstrates Red Jezebel's versatility.

The train has four cars, three of them with seats that face the windows, for a full ocean-view and the fourth car has family seats where passengers can face each other. The interior walls are painted in ocean-blue colors to simulate an undersea world. Activities on the train include talks on the Gangneung and Samcheok regions, and music, including passenger requests via text message, and a marriage proposal room. One of the train stops is at Jeongdongjin Station, which was made famous by a popular 90's Korean drama, The Hourglass.

In Ontario a flag known as the "Trans Flag", created by Ottawa graphic designer Michelle Lindsay, is used. It consists of two stripes, the top in Sunset Magenta representing female, and the bottom in Ocean Blue representing male, with a tripled Venus, Mars, and Mars with stroke symbol ("⚧") representing transgender people, overlaying them. The Trans Flag was first used by the Ottawa-area trans community for Ottawa's 2010 edition of the Trans Day of Remembrance. This event included a ceremony in which the Ottawa Police unveiled and raised this flag.

" The Guardian reviewer wrote that "after descending into a personal hell of booze, drugs and giving up music for waiting tables, the Coloradan [John Grant] has emerged with a colossus. Backed by superfans Midlake, these are songs of impossible love, near-suicide and redemption, with an air of vastness and contemplation recalling Dennis Wilson's masterpiece, Pacific Ocean Blue." In The Independent, Andy Gill wrote of the album: "a near-perfect marriage of his warm baritone with their lush woodwind and keyboard textures, bring to tender life Grant's tales of growing up gay in the midwest.

Subsequent albums would also see Dennis contribute more songs, eventually culminating in a solo record, 1977's Pacific Ocean Blue. Stebbins recognizes Friends as marking "the true beginning of the Beach Boys as a group of six relatively equal creative partners". It was the last Beach Boys album where Brian held most of the writing or co-writing credits until 1977's The Beach Boys Love You. Friend and Three Dog Night singer Danny Hutton recalled that Brian expressed suicidal wishes at the time, and that it was "when [his] real decline started".

The album was released on 22 September 2017 to mostly positive reviews. Despite this, it turned out Cut Copy's least commercially successful album since their debut Bright Like Neon Love, peaking outside the top 50 in Australia and failing to enter general charts elsewhere. The band embarked on a tour to promote the new album, performing in North America, Australia, New Zealand, South America and Japan from 2017 to 2018. In November 2018, they released a new single, "Ocean Blue", which was recorded during Haiku from Zero sessions.

"Pacific Ocean Blues" is a song written by Dennis Wilson and his cousin Mike Love. It was released as the ninth track on Dennis Wilson's 1977 debut solo album Pacific Ocean Blue. The track, as with the rest of the album, was credited as having been produced by Dennis Wilson and his close friend Gregg Jakobson. A backing track was reportedly recorded by late 1975 and was Dennis Wilson's only submission for The Beach Boys 1976 album 15 Big Ones, though it was turned down by the band.

To promote the album, The Innocence Mission embarked on their first live shows since 2004, performing as the opening act on select dates of a tour by The Ocean Blue. The band also performed a live session for WXPN's Key Studios. In February 2016, they performed a 40-minute set at the Roots & Blues music festival held at The Chameleon Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. An outtake from the My Room in the Trees sessions, "Trip", was released as a non-album single in July 2016, and features the band's original drummer, Steve Brown.

After the release of The Beach Boys Love You, the band fell into dispute over their musical direction, and were close to breaking up. Brian Wilson began regressing back into drug use and mental illness. Dennis was readying his debut solo album, Pacific Ocean Blue. Intended as a follow-up to The Beach Boys Love You, sessions and mixing for a new album called Adult/Child were completed by the Beach Boys with Brian Wilson as producer, and it would have included "Hey Little Tomboy", which can be found on M.I.U. Album (in revised form).

Stebbins contributed liner notes to the 2008 Legacy Edition CD release of Dennis Wilson's Pacific Ocean Blue which was Rolling Stone magazine's 2008 reissue of the year. He has also worked as a creative contributor to television shows airing on BBC including the documentaries The Beach Boys- Wouldn't It Be Nice and Queen - The Days Of Our Lives, as well as two multi-episode series The Secret Map of Hollywood and I'm In A Rock And Roll Band. Stebbins is also co-producer of the BBC television documentary Legends- Dennis Wilson, The Real Beach Boy.

In July 2014, vocalist Anders SG and guitarist Anders Bønløkke formed production duo THANKS, releasing the single "Comeback Girl." The duo returned in 2016 with new track "Dizzy" and continued to release music until 2018, with the release of the album Mind Expansion. On 1 June 2018, Alphabeat released a 10th Anniversary edition of This is Alphabeat exclusively on vinyl. The record featured an adjusted tracklisting, using the original Danish recording of "Nothing But My Baby" and including "Into the Jungle" and "Ocean Blue," both also from the album's original release.

In the early years the colour faded quite badly, becoming lighter and paler with time although this problem had been overcome by the late 1970s. United Kingdom paint code RAL5020 ("Ocean Blue") is a good match to Rail Blue. There is also a British Standard paint colour BS381C 114 called Rail Blue which was introduced in 1964. The new British Rail "double arrow" symbol on locomotives (or leading vehicle as was the case on multiple unit stock) and the vehicle number and other ancillary markings written in the Rail Alphabet typeface were other integral parts of the livery.

In the Pacific, blue marlin are seasonally found as far north as southern Japan and as far south as the Bay of Plenty in the North Island of New Zealand. Blue marlin in the eastern Pacific migrate as far north as Southern California and as far south as northern Peru. The southern limit of their distribution in the eastern Indian Ocean appears to be the waters of Albany and Perth in Western Australia, and in the western Indian Ocean blue marlin have been taken as far south as Cape Town. Blue marlin have probably been known to Japanese high-seas fishermen for centuries.

Official PS2 Memory Card The Memory Card (8 MB) (SCPH-10020) Magic Gate is used to store settings, EyeToy video messages and savegames. Official Sony memory cards are only available at a size of 8 MB, the memory card came in black, crimson red, and ocean blue. Later, Sony partnered with a third-party accessories company Katana to make Memory Cards that came in 16 MB and 32 MB. These Memory Cards were officially licensed products and has the PlayStation 2 logo, and says Magic Gate on them. Third party memory cards are available up to 128 MB.

Along with changes to the superstructure the color of the ship's hull was changed from ocean-blue to black and dark green, which was maintained for the rest of her career. In April 2006, Bounty returned to Boothbay Harbor for further refit including repairs to her forward sections and decks. Following this work, Bounty was scheduled to repeat the famous voyage of the original Bounty. During the 2006 refit, the ship was virtually rebuilt to make her appearance more similar to that of the original HMS Bounty, and make her more suitable for service as a sail training vessel.

Sessions for the album were kickstarted on January 19, 1977, only five days after the assembly for Love You was completed. Concurrently, Dennis Wilson worked on his solo album Pacific Ocean Blue which would see release in September of 1977. According to Stan Love, the band's manager and younger brother of the Beach Boys' Mike Love, when Mike heard the rough demo recordings of Adult/Child replete with big band swing arrangements, he turned to Brian and asked: "What the fuck are you doing?" While projected for release in autumn 1977, the album was rejected by Reprise Records for not being commercially viable.

The school has a collegiate (house) system which consists of four houses at Primary and Secondary school which are identified by colour. At the Primary School the Houses are: Haxell - white and dark blue; Jackson - red and dark blue; Roberts - white and red; and Stevenson - all- white. At the secondary school, the houses are: Cutts House - black and yellow; Lockwood House - dark red and ocean blue; Farran House - yellow and sky blue; and Agar House - sky blue and white. Every student belongs to a house, and there is a housemaster who is assisted by other members of Faculty and the House Captains.

Since 2012, security researchers discovered a similar vulnerability present in more series of Smart Tvs, which allows hackers to get an external root access on the device. Anticipating growing demand for an antivirus for a Smart TV, some security software companies are already working with partners in the digital TV field on the solution. It seems like there is only one antivirus for Smart TVs available: 'Neptune', a cloud-based antimalware system developed by Ocean Blue Software in partnership with Sophos. However, antivirus company Avira has joined forces with digital TV testing company Labwise to work on software to protect against potential attacks.

In 1996, Mercury Records signed the band and released their fourth album, See the Ocean Blue, that fall, which saw the arrival new guitarist Oed Ronne and the band's renewed interest in the music of the 1960s and 1970s. While Schelzel remained the predominant songwriter of the band, Ronne composed two tracks and sang lead on his song "Behind." See was released to lukewarm results, with the record company cancelling plans to film a video for the second single, "Slide." The band conducted a US tour then, in 1999, recorded and self-released their fifth album, Davy Jones Locker.

On October 5, 2020, the first anniversary of Ackerson's death, the Susstones label released a 30-song tribute album via Bandcamp, Closer To Heaven: A Tribute To Ed Ackerson, featuring 30 bands reinterpreting Ackerson songs. Artists included The Jayhawks, Motion City Soundtrack, Tanya Donelly, Dandy Warhols, and The Ocean Blue. The title was taken from Polara's last single, which had been released as a digital-only track in 2009 and was nearly forgotten until its rediscovery during work on the tribute album; Susstones re-released it also on the same day as the tribute album's release. Profits from Closer To Heaven went to an education fund for Ackerson's daughter.

Winifred Sackville Stoner Jr. is especially known for poems, rhymes and mnemonic jingles that aid in the recollection of information. One of her best known poems is entitled, The History of The U.S, of which the opening lines are: > In fourteen hundred ninety-two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue > And found this land, land of the Free, beloved by you, beloved by me. Stoner sought to popularize these informative poems against the "'unquestionably' evil influence exerted by popular nursery jingles upon infant minds." "Simple Simon", she said, encouraged stupidity, while "Jack Be Nimble" "puts ideas into children's heads" that could lead to injuring themselves.

Sansone walked in different runway shows at Athens fashion week, among which were the S/S 2009 collections of Aslanis, Demna Gvasalia, Frida Karadima, Katerina Alexandraki, Kathy Heyndels, Victoria Kyriakides, Vrettos Vrettakos, Yiannos Xenis and Custo Barcelona. She subsequently walked in Cyprus Fashion week for the S/S 09 collections of Ocean Blue, Andreas Georgiou, Calia Monoyiou, Marios Messios, Elena Georgiou, Sofia Alexander, Christoforos Kotentos, Fotini Lamnissos, Notis Panayiotou, Stalo Theodorou. She also did lingerie fashion shows in Tunisia. Sansone is a recurring runway model at Tuttosposi, bridal fashion week of Naples, where she walks for high fashion designers among which are Bruno Caruso, Angela Solla, Gianni Molaro and others.

Several musical pieces were missing from the original album and were added to the remake's release. The First Departure remake features the theme song "Heart" performed by Japanese music group Asunaro, which accompanied the game's opening animation as well as the end credits, and was included in that version's official soundtrack in 2008. This theme was replaced for the First Departure R release with the song by Yauchi Keiko of Shadow of Laffandor. The music of Star Ocean: Blue Sphere was composed by regular series composer Motoi Sakuraba: he created the soundtrack on a PC-9801 Composing for the Game Boy Color presented multiple limitations in cord numbers and quality.

Hello I Feel the Same is the tenth studio album by American alternative band The Innocence Mission. It was released on October 16, 2015, via Korda Records, a cooperative record label founded by The Ocean Blue, a band with whom the Innocence Mission formed a "long and deep friendship that goes back to some of each band's first shows in Pennsylvania and their major label debut records on Sire and A&M;". An edition on translucent green vinyl was released from early January 2016. It is their first studio album since 2010's My Room in the Trees, making five years the longest gap between studio albums in their career.

Endless Ocean (known as Forever Blue in Japan) is a scuba diving adventure game for the Wii. It is published by Nintendo and was developed by Arika, who've worked on their spiritual prequel Everblue, another scuba diving adventure game. It was released in Japan on August 2, 2007, in Europe on November 9, 2007 and in North America on January 21, 2008 – after it had been planned for an October 2007 release. A sequel entitled Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep was released in Japan on September 17, 2009, Europe on February 5, 2010 and North America on February 22, 2010 with the title Endless Ocean: Blue World.

He has medium-brown hair, wears a burgundy coat, grayish-brown trousers, and sometimes wears ocean-blue mittens. In the season 4 (2000) episode "Cartman's Silly Hate Crime 2000", he is nominated as "the second fattest kid in class" besides Cartman, and is chosen to replace him in the sled race. "Ocean Blue" is a song by English new wave and synth-pop band ABC, released as the fourth single from their third studio album, How to Be a ... Zillionaire! The song peaked at No. 51 on the UK Singles Chart; the song failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was the only single from the album not to chart on the Hot 100; their next single to chart there would be "When Smokey Sings" the following year. The single version was remixed by Julian Mendelsohn with a drum-track by David Palmer and a string-arrangement by Anne Dudley after the release of the album.

Carl Wilson is the self-titled debut solo album of The Beach Boys' band member, Carl Wilson. The youngest of the three Wilson brothers in the band, Carl Wilson was reportedly at this time unhappy with the progress being made by The Beach Boys creatively. So Carl, just as his brother Dennis had a few years earlier, signed a solo contract with James William Guercio's CBS- distributed Caribou Records, which four years prior put out brother Dennis's album Pacific Ocean Blue, and was also the current label of The Beach Boys. The album was released on March 27, 1981 and peaked at number 185 on the Billboard 200.

The school has four houses - Vasundhara (the earth - red) Sagar (the ocean - blue) Srishti (creation - green) Himgiri (mountains - yellow) Student Council The Student Council consists of the Senior Council (Grade XII) and the Junior Council (Grade XI). The Senior Council consists of a Head Boy, a Head Girl, a Head of Events, two Heads of sports (one boy and one girl), Head of Social Initiatives, Head of Information, Communication and Technology, and Head of Environment. Each house has a Captain from the Senior Council along with Vice Captains from the Junior Council. The Student Council is elected by the student body of the school.

On October 5, 2020, the first anniversary of Ackerson's death, the Susstones label released a 30-song tribute album via Bandcamp, Closer To Heaven: A Tribute To Ed Ackerson, featuring 30 bands reinterpreting Ackerson songs. Artists included The Jayhawks, Motion City Soundtrack, Tanya Donelly, Dandy Warhols, and The Ocean Blue. The title was taken from Polara's last single, which had been released as a digital-only track in 2009 and was nearly forgotten until its rediscovery during work on the tribute album; Susstones re-released it also on the same day as the tribute album's release. Profits from Closer To Heaven went to an education fund for Ackerson's daughter.

A new mix of the song, featuring a newly created introduction (edited together from later parts of the track), extended instrumental passages and additional vocals from both Dennis and Carl Wilson features on the Beach Boys' 2009 compilation album Summer Love Songs. This version was created and mixed by Mark Linett, and is credited to The Beach Boys rather than Dennis Wilson & Rumbo. A rerecording of the song, titled "Flowers Come In The Spring", was done in 1977. Recorded either during or just after the sessions for what became Pacific Ocean Blue, it was considered for inclusion on his then-unreleased follow-up Bambu.

During the 15th and 16th centuries, Portugal became a leading European power that ranked with England, France and Spain in terms of economic, political and cultural influence. Though not dominant in European affairs, Portugal did have an extensive colonial trading empire throughout the world backed by a powerful thalassocracy. The beginnings of the Portuguese Empire can be traced to 25 July 1415, when the Portuguese Armada set sail for the rich Islamic trading center of Ceuta in North Africa.

In the Southern Ocean, blue whales calls last roughly 18 seconds and consist of a 9-s-long, 27 Hz tone, followed by a 1-s downsweep to 19 Hz, and another downsweep to 18 Hz. They also produce short, 1–4 s duration, frequency- modulated calls ranging in frequency between 80 and 38 Hz. At least seven blue whale song types have been shifting linearly downward in tonal frequency over time, though at different rates. The Eastern North Pacific blue whale tonal frequency is 31% lower than it was in the early 1960s. The frequency of pygmy blue whales in the Antarctic has steadily decreased at a rate of a few tenths of hertz per year since 2002.

The PS2 standard color is matte black. Several different variations in color were produced in different quantities and regions, including ceramic white, light yellow, metallic blue (aqua), metallic silver, navy (star blue), opaque blue (astral blue), opaque black (midnight black), pearl white, Sakura purple, satin gold, satin silver, snow white, super red, transparent blue (ocean blue), and also Limited Edition color Pink, which was distributed in regions including Oceania and parts of Asia. The small PlayStation logo on the front of the disc tray could be rotated 90 degrees, in order for the logo to be the right way up in both vertical and horizontal console orientations. This feature is also used on slimline consoles and the PlayStation 3.

As in the Satsuki Shō, the colt came from last place before he "cruised" to victory, although the competition was less strong than anticipated following the late withdrawal of Deep Brillante, who had sustained a tendon injury. Praia dos Ingleses Praia dos Ingleses (English: Beach of the Englishmen) is a beach located in the neighborhood of Ingleses do Rio Vermelho, in the north of the Santa Catarina Island 31 km from the Centro downtown district of Florianópolis the capital of the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The beach is 4.83 km long, open ocean, blue warm water, the right side of the beach has calm water ideal for taking children and the elderly and on the other side, the waves are strong and conducive to surfing, bodyboarding and Standup paddleboarding. And a lot of sand where sandboarding is practiced by people of all ages on the beach's dunes. Boating tours are also conducted.

In addition to various camera effects (such as slow motion and certain filter effects that changes the appearance of the film), the video also periodically cuts to Brent Smith also singing the song without a band behind him in a different setting: In an ocean-blue background with several beads of water splashing around him. These shots begin to be shown once the first chorus of the song begins. When the song ends, the band is shown from behind the drummer in slow motion, in which Barry Kerch is seen throwing his sticks into the air (they fall onto the snares), with the other band members walking away from the camera's position.

Kinetic Records was a New York City-based record label founded by Steve Lau (founding member of Sire Records act the Ocean Blue), and co-owned with Alyson Shapero. The label launched the careers of artists and DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, BT, Ray Munns, Deepsky, Kosheen, Tilt, Timo Maas, Grace, Sandra Collins, Billy Thermal, Binary Finary, and Shpongle. Other successful artists on the label included Ash, Sasha and John Digweed, South, Faithless, DJ DAN, LTJ Bukem, Dario G, Luomo, Infected Mushroom, Max Graham, Dave Ralph Music Instructor, and Hybrid. It was also well known for its Tranceport series, of which Paul Oakenfold's first installment is considered to be the breakthrough record for the trance genre with the highest sales of any mix compilation.

The material played spans from the 1958 debut single "Move It" to tracks from Richard's gospel album Small Corners released only a month before the concert (although only "Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music" made the original album). Although "Please Don't Tease" was originally a number one hit for Cliff Richard and The Shadows in 1960, the version played here is the rearranged version from the B-side of the 1978 single "Please Remember Me" and is played by Cliff's band. The album closes with a cover of Dennis Wilson's "End of the Show" (the closing track from his Pacific Ocean Blue album). The repeated refrain of that song is where the album title Thank You Very Much comes from.

Gregg Jakobson (born August 2, 1939 in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States) is an American songwriter who was a friend and songwriting partner of Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys, and a prosecution witness in the murder trials of members of the Manson Family. Together Wilson and he wrote "Celebrate the News", "Forever" and "San Miguel" for The Beach Boys. The pair also wrote many songs together for Wilson's 1977 album Pacific Ocean Blue including "What's Wrong", "Moonshine", "Friday Night", "Dreamer", and "End of The Show", as well as "Baby Blue" and "You and I" with Karen Lamm. Jakobson met Charles Manson in 1968 through Wilson and became friends with him, eventually paying expenses for Manson to record some of his own compositions.

The first locomotives were delivered in the usual 'crimson' (RAL 3004) of that time. In 1974 218 217 and 218 218 were used as test vehicles for new colour schemes : 218 218 was the first locomotive in the new ocean blue-beige (turquoise/cream) finish (RAL 5020/RAL 1001). 218 217 received an experimental livery in the TEE red and beige (RAL 1001/RAL 3004). The turquoise/cream colour became a new standard for the 218, whilst the 218 217 in the burgundy and beige remained a loner, for almost thirty years, until 753 001 (ex 217 001) became the second locomotive from the V160 family to receive this colour scheme. By the late 2000s the turquoise/cream colour had virtually disappeared, the last representative being DB AutoZug 218 320.

Four singles were released from the album, "(How to Be A) Millionaire" (UK Singles Chart: No. 49; Billboard Hot 100: No. 20), "Be Near Me" (UK: No. 26; US: No. 9), "Vanity Kills" (UK: No. 74; US: No. 91), and the fourth was "Ocean Blue", (UK: No. 54). It is the group's first and only album to feature founder members Martin Fry and Mark White flanked by new members Eden and David Yarritu, the latter two credited merely as "performers" with effectively no or limited musical contribution to the album. The four- piece was also presented in a cartoon form for the album's artwork and promotional videos, and wore outrageous costumes and played false instruments for "live" promotional performances. In 2005, a digitally remastered CD of the album was released with eight bonus tracks.

The idea of an official tartan for Northwest Territories was proposed by Janet Anderson-Thomson after she attended an RCMP ball in 1966 and noticed that the piper was, as she later described it, "terribly drab". She and her husband John, a land surveyor, both discussed the idea with Stuart Hodgson, then Commissioner of Northwest Territories, who supported it. The design was then created by Hugh MacPherson (Scotland) Limited of Edinburgh, a tartan designer and manufacturer, with Anderson-Thomson's colour suggestions: green for the forests, white for the Arctic Ocean, blue for the Northwest Passage, gold for the territories' mineral wealth, red-orange for autumn foliage, and a thin black line to represent the tree line. The tartan was registered at the Court of the Lord Lyon in 1972, and officially adopted by the Territorial Council in January 1973.

The foreword suggested that the show existed only "for the fun of things" rather than any "political proclivities". The characters are largely similar to those of HMS Pinafore: Captain Corcoran is rewritten as Captain McA (John A. Macdonald); Dick Deadeye becomes Alexander MacDeadeye (Alexander Mackenzie, Canada's second prime minister); Sir Joseph Porter is renamed Sir Samuel Sillery (Sir Samuel Leonard Tilley, finance minister); and the couple Josephine and Ralph are presented as Angelina and Sam Snifter. The new libretto too is loosely based on the original: for example, where Pinafore opens "We sail the ocean blue / and our saucy ship's a beauty", Parliament begins "We sail the ship of state / tho' our craft is rather leaky".Libretto for H.M.S. Pinafore at Wikisource H.M.S. Parliament opened in Montreal at the Academy of Music on 16 February 1880.

First, a handful of the songs, namely "Rock and Roll Music" and "California Saga: California" are presented in their original single mix. Moreover, Ten Years of Harmony includes a 1979 A-side "It's a Beautiful Day" (which failed to chart), a Dennis Wilson-written track called "San Miguel" (which was a Sunflower-era outtake from 1969), a cover of "Sea Cruise", which was a rejected track from the 15 Big Ones sessions, and a selection from Dennis' solo album, Pacific Ocean Blue, "River Song". Only active Beach Boys (Al Jardine, Mike Love, Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, and Dennis Wilson) appear on the gatefold cover on the original LP issue. The group vetoed the use of a photo with Bruce Johnston, who had rejoined the group in 1978 after a six-year absence, and also declined a suggestion that Johnston appear in an inset on the photo.

It retains the features of its predecessor while introducing prerendered backgrounds, full motion videos, and 3D battlefields. Taking place in 366 SD, it features a new cast of characters, including Claude C. Kenny, the son of Ronyx J. Kenny from the original Star Ocean, and Rena Lanford, who both investigate the Sorcery Globe, which has landed on Planet Expel and has been causing disasters ever since. An enhanced port entitled Star Ocean: Second Evolution was released for the PlayStation Portable on April 2, 2008, in Japan, January 19, 2009, in North America, February 12, 2009, in Australia and February 13, 2009, in Europe. It was announced alongside First Departure, and features similar enhancements, including fully voiced dialogue, new playable characters, and new character artwork and animated cut-scenes provided by Production I.G. Star Ocean: Blue Sphere is a direct sequel to The Second Story, released for the Game Boy Color on June 28, 2001, in Japan (a North American version was planned but canceled).

The barrier reef and the Tongue of the Ocean, together with mangrove swamps, rocky tidal pools, and estuaries, provide breeding and growing habitats for a wide variety of young marine life. Andros has a variety of close-to-shore and on-shore ecosystems that may be unique on Earth: tidal inland and ocean blue holes, shallow sand and mud flats, tidal estuaries, mangrove swamps, the pelagic ecozone of the drop-off only from shore, the world's third-largest barrier reef, and huge freshwater aquifers. The marine biosphere is fed by both the teeming life of the mangrove marshes and estuaries on the mainland, and the upwelling of cool water from the Tongue of the Ocean, resulting in an unparalleled variety of sea life. Humpback whales, which are found in all the world's oceans, follow a regular migration route, summering in temperate and polar waters for feeding, and wintering in tropical waters for mating and calving.

Placed in the second half of her "double feature" music video, the song plays after tumbling waves and a drone shot of Long Beach serve as prelude. Featuring the same bar sequence from the "Fuck It, I Love You" portion of the video, Del Rey continues to sing infront of a neon-gradient backdrop while new clips of her wandering the Long Beach harbor in a Venice "Locals Only" jacket. Reminiscent of shots from her video for "Ride", Del Rey plays darts and pool in the bar accompanied by older, biker-like men. Shots of a jukebox show a series of songs Del Rey has covered including "Doin' Time" by Sublime and "Chelsea Hotel #2" by Leonard Cohen, as well as "Life on Mars" by David Bowie, "Pacific Ocean Blue" by Dennis Wilson, "Kozmic Blues" by Janis Joplin and "Grace" by Jeff Buckley and "Bluebirds over the Mountain" by Ritchie Valens among others.

Years later the first trading posts were established in the Moluccas, or "Spice Islands", which was the source for some of the world's most hotly demanded spices, and from there, in Makassar and some others, but smaller, in the Lesser Sunda Islands. By 1513–1516, the first Portuguese ships had reached Canton on the southern coasts of China. Portuguese expeditions 1415–1542: arrival places and dates; Portuguese spice trade routes in the Indian Ocean (blue); territories of the Portuguese empire under King John III rule (green) In 1513, after the failed attempt to conquer Aden, Albuquerque entered with an armada, for the first time for Europeans by the ocean via, on the Red Sea; and in 1515, Albuquerque consolidated the Portuguese hegemony in the Persian Gulf gates, already begun by him in 1507, with the domain of Muscat and Ormuz. Shortly after, other fortified bases and forts were annexed and built along the Gulf, and in 1521, through a military campaign, the Portuguese annexed Bahrain.

Shortly after Motown moved their headquarters to Los Angeles, California in 1972, Jamerson moved there himself and found occasional studio work, but his relationship with Motown officially ended in 1973. He went on to perform on such 1970s hits as "Neither One of Us" by Gladys Knight & The Pips (1973), "Boogie Down" (Eddie Kendricks, 1974), "Boogie Fever" (The Sylvers, 1976), "You Don't Have to Be a Star (To Be in My Show)" (Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr., 1976), and "Heaven Must Have Sent You" (Bonnie Pointer, 1979). He also played on recordings by Robert Palmer (Pressure Drop, 1975), Dennis Coffey (Instant Coffey, 1974), Wah Wah Watson (Elementary, 1976), Rhythm Heritage (1976), Al Wilson (1977), Dennis Wilson (Pacific Ocean Blue, 1977), Eloise Laws (1977), Smokey Robinson (1978), Ben E. King (1978), Hubert Laws (1979), Tavares (1980), Joe Sample/David T. Walker (Swing Street Cafe, 1981), and Bloodstone (1982). However, in Los Angeles Jamerson was not working with a steady group of musicians, and he was not as free to improvise.
