Canamasas out-braked himself for the entry to the Novelle chicane and ran straight across the corner. Canamasas stopped his car to prevent himself from gaining an unfair advantage and returned the lead to Richelmi. Richelmi's lead over Canamasas increased to one second for the first time all race.

In 1392 he was podestà of San Miniato, and in 1396 he held a similar office at Faenza. In 1398 he received from his fellow-citizens the post of captain of their then province of Romagna, having his residence at Portico. The date of his death is unknown; most probably it occurred about 1400, though some writers place it as late as 1410. He wrote sonnets, canzoni, madrigals, and other poems; his best known works are however his Novelle (short stories).

Orphaned early in life, he studied law at the University of Pisa but did not gain his doctorate. In 1758 he joined the Secretariat of State of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. A supporter of the Tuscan Enlightenment, he wrote several books, essays and dissertations on art and culture. He followed the scholar Giovanni Lami as editor of the "Novelle letterarie", he also wrote the 80-volume Efemeridi, a collection of diaries offering an incredible fresco of Florentine society between 1750 and 1799.

Evans caused a brief early red flag period when he stopped his car atop a hill entering Massenet corner, and was unable to set a timed lap. Canamasas went onto the Sainte Dévote run-off area, and Marco Sørensen (Carlin) locked his tyres, causing him hit the barrier at Rascasse corner, and reversed out of the turn. Daniël de Jong stopped his car at the Novelle chicane because of a car mechanical failure. Friday afternoon's qualifying session ran for 30-minutes.

The novel presents the Carlists in a somewhat sympathetic, romantic gloom, Karin Wozonig, Spanischer Skandal im österreichisch- ungarischen Almanach. His A History of the German "Novelle" from Goethe to Thomas Mann was brought out by Cambridge University Press in 1934 (2nd ed., revised and continued by H.M. Waidson, London, Cambridge University Press, 1961); an important study of George, Stefan George: A Critical Study, appeared under the imprint of in 1954, in a series edited by Erich Heller. Bennett was Erich Heller's doctoral guide at Cambridge; he died in 1958 leaving a large part of the residue of his estate to Gonville and Caius College.

Born in Florence between 1320 and 1330, he is closely associated with his three older brothers Andrea di Cione di Arcangelo (called Orcagna), Nardo di Cione and Matteo di Cione. The di Cione (pronounced dee choh’ nay) brothers often worked collaboratively. Jacopo lived in the popolo Sancte Marie Novelle and, later in life, in the popolo Sancti Laurentii. In 1366–68 Jacopo worked on a large chamber in the guildhall of the judges and notaries, Florence (a surviving altarpiece with Crucifixion is in the National Gallery, London).

The monk hid and watched all of this, and uses the knowledge to avoid punishment. The monk and the abbot quickly rush the woman out of the monastery, but often bring her back in. The earliest surviving source for this anti-clerical tale is found in Cento Novelle Antiche, an Italian compilation of short stories from the end of the 13th century. Boccaccio could have possibly also taken the tale from a French fabliau, "L'Evesque qui benit sa maitresse" ("The bishop who blesses his mistress").

"Pisa" Live lions were kept at the commune's expense from the Middle Ages until they were banished in 1771. At times the Marzocco would be crowned according to a motto by the writer of novelle Franco Sacchetti: > "Corona porto, per la patria degna, > Acciochè libertà ciascun mantegna.""I wear a crown worthy of my country, in > order that everyone might maintain liberty", according to the translation in > Susan and Joanne Horner, Walks in Florence: Churches, Streets and Palaces > London, Henry S. King & Co., 1877 (on-line text).

Nunziato d'Antonio di Domenico, known as Nunziata (1468–1525) was an Italian painter, fireworks artist, and bombardier of Renaissance Florence. None of Nunziata's works can be identified today. Most of what we know about him comes from a single passage by Giorgio Vasari, in the 1568 edition of the Vite, within the Life of Ridolfo, David, and Benedetto Ghirlandaio. Too young to have known Nunziata personally, Vasari shaped him into a literary character: the joking painter in the tradition of Franco Sacchetti's novelle about Giotto and the fabled Buffalmacco.

Giovanni Sabadino degli Arienti (Bologna 1445 - Bologna 1510) was an Italian humanist, author, poet and prose writer. Born in Bologna, he first served as a secretary for Count Andrea Bentivoglio, and then from 1491 was the client of Ercole d'Este in Ferrara. His most famous work Novelle Porretane (1483) is a collection of sixty-one tales in imitation of Boccacio's Decameron. In De Triumphis Religionis, a treatise on the virtues of a prince, he described the court of Ercole d'Este as an exemplar of the virtue of magnificence.

Apart from the King's suggestion, Shirley's source for the plot of his play is the Ducento novelle of Celio Malespini. The play was performed by Queen Henrietta's Men, both at Court and at the regular theatre, the Cockpit in Drury Lane. The 1637 quarto was printed by John Norton for the booksellers Andrew Crooke and William Cooke. Shirley's play was a popular success in its own era, and in the next century was adapted by Charles Johnson into The Wife's Relief (1711) and J. Poole (The Wife's Strategem, 1827).

Themes and motifs with parallels in the Nights are found in Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales (in The Squire's Tale the hero travels on a flying brass horse) and Boccaccio's Decameron. Echoes in Giovanni Sercambi's Novelle and Ariosto's Orlando Furioso suggest that the story of Shahriyar and Shahzaman was also known.Irwin pp. 96–99 Evidence also appears to show that the stories had spread to the Balkans and a translation of the Nights into Romanian existed by the 17th century, itself based on a Greek version of the collection.

Baretti, who at first seemed to want to abandon the project, decided to move to another state. He began to print his periodical in Ancona, in the Papal States, starting from April 1, 1765. From then on, all the remaining eight issues of the magazine, from April 19 to July 15, 1765, were dedicated to the impetuous criticism against his father Appiano Buonafede, who a few months earlier had published a work, full of rancor against the Baretti, titled Novelle Menippe by Luciano Firenzuola against a certain pseudepigraphic Frusta by Aristarco Scannabue.

The title character of the Insatiate Countess, Isabella Countess of "Swevia" (Swabia), is based on Bianca Maria, the Countess of Challant who was executed for adultery on 20 October 1526. (Marston also based his Franceschina in The Dutch Courtesan on Bianca Maria.) An account of Bianca Maria's life and death was included by Matteo Bandello in his 1554 Novelle collection. François de Belleforest translated Bandello's account into French in 1565, which in turn appeared in English as the 24th story in William Painter's Palace of Pleasure (1567).Wiggins, pp.

Avec la 201 une ère novelle commence.» Cars after the Type 190 use names three digits long with a zero in the middle, beginning with the 201, abandoning Peugeot's original procedure of naming each new model with a successive ordinal number.

A version of the story appeared in the early 13th-century French Mort Artu, in which the Lady of Escalot (Demoiselle d'Escalot) dies of unrequited love for Lancelot and drifts down a river to Camelot in a boat.Lancelot-Grail: The Story And Its Branches Another version is told in the 13th-century Italian novellina La Damigella di Scalot (No. LXXXII in the collection Il Novellino: Le ciento novelle antike). Two of Tennyson's poems, both titled "The Lady of Shalott" (1832 and 1842), were inspired by the Italian version.

With the sponsorship of the Swiss watchmaking company Eberhard & Co., which designed a special watch model to honor Tazio Nuvolari, the Gran Premio Nuvolari was rerun for the first time in 1991. The route changes annually, starting and finishing in Mantua. It includes historic racetracks like the Autodromo Imola, as well as the cities of Rimini, Siena, and Ferrara.

A shorter variant of the tale was recorded by Gerlando Bennici and published in Albanian and Italian with the name I due gemelli fatati ("The Two Fairy Twins") by Giuseppe Pitrè in his 1875 Fiabe, novelle e racconti popolari siciliani. This version includes the first part of the Twins' magic birth found also in Schiro's version, comprising Thompson's motifs: T511.5.1, "Conception from eating fish" and T589.7.1, "Simultaneous birth of [domestic] animal and child", but exludes the king's death and the magic rings (Thompson's motif D1076) which allow one twin to know the other's health condition.

In 1691 Fouard engraved a series of plates after van Beecq's designs (only one of which is signed by the two men) for the French translation of a history of the Spanish invasion of Mexico, called Histoire de la conquête du Mexique ou de la Novelle Espagne. He was expelled from the Académie in 1694, depriving him of the prestigious title of peintre du roi, but readmitted three years later. He did not attend any meetings after 1701, and the minutes of the Académie record his death in April 1722, aged 83.

The 1972 NCAA Skiing Championships were contested in Winter Park, Colorado at the 19th annual NCAA-sanctioned ski tournament to determine the individual and team national champions of men's collegiate alpine, cross country skiing, and ski jumping in the United States. Hosts Colorado, coached by Bill Marolt, captured their third national championship (and first since 1960), finishing 5.2 points ahead of three-time defending champions Denver in the team standings. Utah's David Novelle died after running off the course and hitting a tree during the downhill race. As a result, the Utah team withdrew from competition.

Hamilton reckoned his increased comfort with the F1 W05 Hybrid car would put Rosberg under pressure in Monaco, saying it was a track where he performed well and wanted Ferrari and Red Bull to battle him for the victory. The circuit was altered following the 2013 race. The track was resurfaced from the exit of Casino corner until the entry to the tunnel with small areas before the Novelle chicane and Tabac undergoing a similar change. The pit lane barrier and the debris fencing was renewed and the turn 12 TecPro energy absorbing barrier was made more efficiently constrained.

Leaving the tunnel, smoke billowed from the rear of Vergne's car but he was able to enter the pit lane and retire on lap 52. Gutiérrez caught Bottas along with, Räikkönen and Massa – who was on new tyres – and Gutiérrez attacked Bottas at the Novelle chicane but Bottas kept eighth by cutting the corner. With smoke billowing from his car on lap 55, Bottas drove to the side of the track at the Loews hairpin to retire. The need for a safety car was avoided when a crane removed his car from the track and yellow flags were waved in the area.

For the most part CR 49 remains straight as it passes by farmland, ranches, and wooded areas, interrupted by the occasional abandoned railroad right-of-way and power line right-of-way. The closest thing resembling a major intersection here is a blinker light and turning ramps at State Road 247, and almost immediately an intersection with CR 248, which leads to a trailhead on the east bank of the Suwannee River. The straight south-to-north trajectory ends when it curves to the northwest as 57th Road runs straight from there, then turns straight again at 224th Street & Novelle Road.

Maria de Zayas's most successful works are her Novelas Amorosas y ejemplares (Amorous and Exemplary Novels), published in 1637, and Desengaños Amorosos (Disenchantments of Love), published in 1647. They are known as the Spanish Decameron because they followed a structure used by the Italian writer Giovanni Boccaccio, consisting of many framed novelle (Spanish novelas) within one. These novelas, which were written in a complex style, were a very popular genre in all of Europe. Zayas was strongly influenced by Miguel de Cervantes’s “Novelas ejemplares (Exemplary Novels) which were also written in the style of the Italian novella.

Samuell was screenwriter and director of a 2011 adaptation of Louis Pergaud's popular novel, La guerre des boutons. This adaptation is set in the 1960s, with the Algerian War as a backdrop. All the letters are preserved and published later by the magazine "Riga", no. 14 (1998), which later dedicated the entire no. 28 (2008) to Celati. His three novels Le avventure di Guizzardi (1972), La banda dei sospiri (1976), and Lunario del paradiso (1978) were later published together in Parlamenti buffi (1998), with a leave-letter of the author to his own book, which marked his passage from Einaudi to the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli's publishing company. In 1985, he wrote the stories of Narratori delle pianure (Grinzane Cavour Prize); in 1987 Quattro novelle sulle apparenze; and in 1989 Verso la foce (Mondello Prize).

The race started half an hour later behind the safety car and the race was run to time instead of laps. Palmer held the lead at the restart and set a series of fastest laps to open out a nine-second lead over Evans. Palmer's main concern, however, was Nasr who made his compulsory pit stop before the stoppage and he required a half a minute advantage over him. The safety car was dispatched for the second time on lap 25 after Leal mistimed an overtake on Marciello and lost control of his car which veered him into the tyre barrier at the exit of the Novelle chicane.

Mitchell, who had worked with Georgie Fame's Blues Flames prior to joining the Jimi Hendrix Experience and drew his greatest inspiration from jazzmen such as Elvin Jones, played on most of the album. On the shuffles like "I'm Ready" and "Blind Man Blues", the drummer is New York session veteran Novelle. Grech was best known as one-fourth of Blind Faith, together with Winwood. It is also noteworthy that Blind Faith included two ex-Cream members, Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton -- the latter having played on The London Howlin' Wolf Sessions, but Grech had become a member of Traffic, another band led by Winwood.

Geoffrey (spelt Jeffrey by Lodge) was born in 1539, the son of Henry Fenton from Nottinghamshire, England and was the brother of Edward Fenton the navigator. Geoffrey is said to have visited Spain and Italy in his youth; possibly he went to Paris in Sir Thomas Hoby's train in 1566, for he was living there in 1567, when he wrote Certaine tragicall discourses written oute of Frenche and Latin. This book is a free translation of François de Belleforest's French rendering of Matteo Bandello's Novelle. Until 1579 Fenton continued his literary labors, publishing Monophylo in 1572, Golden epistles gathered out of Guevaraes workes as other authors ... 1575, and various religious tracts of strong Protestant tendencies.

This plot derives from the myth of Cupid and Psyche but inverts the role of the protagonists. In the plot, and in the Spanish play, it is the man’s curiosity which leads him to meet and fall in love with the invisible woman; that is, with a woman who is either hidden, veiled or encountered in the dark. The Invisible Mistress plot is already found in Italian novelle by Masuccio and Bandello.Frederick A. de Armas, The Invisible Mistress: Aspects of Feminism and Fantasy in the Golden Age, Charlottesville, Biblioteca Siglo de Oro, 1976 As is common in the cloak and sword plays, it is the woman, in this case the widow Leonarda, who propels the action.

He founded the study of "folk psychology", in Sicily, teaching at the University of Palermo. Between 1871 and 1913, he compiled the Biblioteca delle tradizioni popolari siciliane ("Library of Sicilian popular traditions"), a collection of Sicilian oral culture in twenty-five volumes. Pitrè's Fiabe, novelle e racconti popolari siciliani ("Sicilian Fairy Tales, Stories, and Folktales"), 1875, documenting Sicily's rich folkloric heritage derived from both European and Middle Eastern traditions, is the culmination of the great European folklore scholarship that began earlier in the 19th century. Against the cultural grain of his times, Pitrè championed the common people of Sicily and their customs, and his scholarship of oral narrative tradition is arguably as significant as that of the Brothers Grimm.

Another important example of the development of vampire fiction can be found in three seminal novels by Paul Féval: Le Chevalier Ténèbre (1860), La Vampire (1865) and La Ville Vampire (1874). Marie Nizet's Le Capitaine Vampire (1879) features a Russian officer, Boris Liatoukine, who is a vampire. In German literature, one of the most popular novels was Hans Wachenhusen's Der Vampyr - Novelle aus Bulgarien (1878), which, on account of the author's first-hand experience of Ottoman society, includes a detailed description of the multicultural society of Bulgaria, and which contains an atmosphere that is "in some parts comparable to Dracula".J. King, who was delayed by a long queue of vehicles behind him, was the first driver to make a scheduled pit stop on the same lap and rejoined the track in clear air. On lap eight, Matsushita collided heavily with de Jong at the Novelle chicane, causing him to retire and was later penalised with a three-place grid penalty for the sprint race after the stewards judged him to have missed the corner's braking point. De Jong was able to continue. Marciello made his pit stop for new tyres on the next lap, allowing Rossi and Vandoorne to move into first and second and both drivers built an advantage over the rest of the field.

In the sixteenth century, stories of lovers deceived into believing each other false were common currency in northern Italy. Shakespeare's immediate source may have been one of the Novelle ("Tales") by Matteo Bandello of Mantua (possibly the translation into French by François de Belleforest), which dealt with the tribulations of Sir Timbreo and his betrothed Fenicia Lionata, in Messina, after King Piero's defeat of Charles of Anjou. Another version, featuring lovers Ariodante and Ginevra, with the servant Dalinda impersonating Ginevra on the balcony, appears in Book V of Orlando Furioso by Ludovico Ariosto (published in an English translation in 1591). The character of Benedick has a counterpart in a commentary on marriage in Orlando Furioso.

The term "novel" originates from the production of short stories, or novella that remained part of a European oral culture of storytelling into the late 19th century. Fairy tales, jokes, and humorous stories designed to make a point in a conversation, and the exemplum a priest would insert in a sermon belong into this tradition. Written collections of such stories circulated in a wide range of products from practical compilations of examples designed for the use of clerics to compilations of various stories such as Boccaccio's Decameron (1354) and Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (1386–1400). The Decameron was a compilation of one hundred novelle told by ten people—seven women and three men—fleeing the Black Death by escaping from Florence to the Fiesole hills, in 1348.

Nasr made the best start in the field, moving from 18th to 12th by the end of the first lap as Evans opened up a one-second advantage over Palmer at the same time. However, Evans was prevented from extending his lead further when the safety car was deployed at the beginning of lap two for Regalia who stopped on the inside at the exit of the Tabac corner with a drive train failure that began at the Novelle chicane. Evans maintained his lead at the lap four restart and Palmer retained second as the top six drivers began to pull away from Haryanto in seventh. Jolyon Palmer (pictured in 2012) won the feature race after retaking the lead on the eleventh lap by passing Mitch Evans.

The album features Waters on slide and acoustic guitar, backed by Sammy Lawhorn and Rory Gallagher on guitar, Carey Bell Harrington on harmonica, Rick Grech on bass, George Fortune and Steve Winwood on piano and organ, Mitch Mitchell from Jimi Hendrix Experience and Herbie Novelle on drums and Rosetta Hightower on vocals, Ernie Royal and Joe Newman on trumpet, Garnett Brown on trombone and Seldon Powell on tenor saxophone. Irish blues- rocker Gallagher, who began a successful solo career following the demise of his trio, Taste, played on three tracks, providing solos on "Young Fashion Ways" and two others. Winwood reprised his keyboard role on the Howlin' Wolf sessions, making appearances on three tracks. Fortune, a swinging-jazz-blues player, played on the remaining tracks.

The tale was quite common during the medieval era, appearing in Barlaam and Josaphat (written in the 8th century), an exemplum of Jacques de Vitry (13th century) and Cento Novelle Antiche (also 13th century), The Seven Wise Masters, and Italian collection of fables called Fiori di Virtù (14th century), Odo of Shirton's "De heremita iuvene" (12th century), and a French fabliau (13th century). The last two are the most probable sources for Boccaccio because in them the father refers to the women as "geese", whereas in the earlier versions he calls them "demons" who tempt the souls of men. Filostrato reigns during the fourth day, in which the storytellers tell tales of lovers whose relationship ends in disaster. This is the first day a male storyteller reigns.

A shorter variant was recorded by Gerlando Bennici and published in Albanian and Italian with the name I due gemelli fatati by Giuseppe Pitrè in his 1875 Fiabe, novelle e racconti popolari siciliani. This version does not include the ATU 300 type, "The Dragon Slayer". "The Twins" includes common Albanian mythological figures like the ora, zana, kulshedra, shtriga and e Bukura e Dheut ("the Earthly Beauty"), and features the Albanian traditional motif of the "pair of heroic brothers", which is found also as one of the main themes in Albanian epic cycle of the Kângë Kreshnikësh ("Songs of Heroes"). The protagonists are twins Zjerma and Handa born one with the Sun and the other with the Moon in their forehead.

La Novelle Natura Brevium was a treatise on English law by Fitzherbert, described as "that exact work, exquisitely penned",Coke, Reports X, Pref. It is often cited in judgments today across the common law world, and represents an important tract on the rules of common law in the 16th century. It remained one of the classical English law books until the end of the 18th century. Fitzherbert, in his new Natura Brevium (1534) 94D, says that:"If a smith prick my horse with a nail, I shall have my action on the case against him, without any warranty by the smith to do it well"; and he supports it with an excellent reason: "for it is the duty of every artificer to exercise his art rightly and truly as he ought".

The name in French meant "seamark", a tall structure of wood built as a guide for ships. The House of Representatives has the right of amendment; government too may amend (Article 84). The Senate only can pass or reject laws in full (Article 85), defended by the responsible minister or by members of the House of Representatives having taken the initiative to propose the law; however, in practice it can send the proposal back asking for a novelle to be passed by the House of Representatives, in fact an amendment of law. Bills may be withdrawn by the proposer until passed (Article 86), but only by a majority of the House of Representatives if the bill has been presented by some members of the House of Representatives and has been passed by the House of Representatives. Bills become valid law once they have been passed by Parliament and have been affirmed by the King (Article 87).

During the 19th century in Bastia, Salvatore Viale wrote La Dionomachia in 1817, Canti popolari corsi in 1843 and Dell'uso della lingua patria in Corsica in 1858. Many Corsican authors (who wrote in Italian) were influenced by the ideals of the Italian Risorgimento during the second half of the 19th century, such as Giuseppe Multado, Gian Paolo Borghetti, Francesco Ottaviano Renucci (Storia della Corsica dal 1789 al 1830 and Novelle storiche corse). Even the Italian Niccolò Tommaseo collected the Canti popolari corsi (with points of view of Italian irredentism) and made a compilation of the letters (Lettere di Pasquale de Paoli) of Pasquale Paoli. Santu Casanova founded the famous literary review A Tramuntana (published in Ajaccio between 1896 and 1914) and wrote in Italian Meraviglioso testamento di Francesco in 1875 and La morte ed il funerale di Spanetto in 1892.

She considered it to be a marriage, as she expresses in her poetry. Between 1886 and 1895 Cattermole wrote many of her prose works: Così è, L'innamorata, Novelle di Natale, Una famiglia di topi and Il romanzo della bambola, as well as republished Storie d’amore e di dolore. In Rome, Cattermole held a musical salon that was very successful: it was attended, among many others, by Arturo Graf, Angelo De Gubernatis, the American sculptor Moë Ezekiel, the painter Guido Boggiani, the sculptor Niccolini, the painter Anna Forti, Luigi Capuana, the writer Pierre Loti, and several members of parliament. She maintained a good relationship with the writer and journalist Matilde Serao, despite her having given a negative review of Cattermole’s Versi in 1883.

He did not desire revolution, but reform; and thus he became the leader of a moderate party, and the steady opponent not only of despotism but of democracy. At last in 1848 his hopes were to some extent satisfied by the constitution granted by the king, known as the Statuto albertino. He was appointed a member of the commission on the electoral law, and became first constitutional prime minister of Piedmont, but only held office a few months. With the ministry of d’Azeglio, which soon after came to power, he was on friendly terms, and his pen continued the active defence of his political principles till his death on 3 June 1853. He published Quattro Novelle in 1829; Storia d’Italia sotto i Barbari in 1830; Vita di Dante, 1839; Meditazioni Storiche, 1842—1845; Le Speranze d’Italia, 1844; Pensieri sulla Storia d’Italia, 1858; Della Monarchia rappresentativa in Italia (Florence, 1857).

The folklorist Giuseppe Pitrè published in 1875 a selection of Albanian folk tales from Sicily in Fiabe, novelle e racconti popolari siciliani (Sicilian Fables, Short Stories and Folk Tales). The next generation of scholars who became interested in collecting Albanian folk material were mainly philologists, among them the Indo-European linguists concerned about the study of the then little known Albanian language. The French consul in Janina and Thessalonika, Auguste Dozon, published Albanian folk tales and songs initially in the 1879 (Manual of the Shkip or Albanian Language) and in the 1881 Contes albanais, recueillis et traduits (Albanian Tales, Collected and Translated). The Czech linguist and professor of Romance languages and literature, Jan Urban Jarnik, published in 1883 Albanian folklore material from the region of Shkodra in Zur albanischen Sprachenkunde (On Albanian Linguistics) and Příspěvky ku poznání nářečí albánských uveřejňuje (Contributions to the Knowledge of Albanian Dialects).

As drivers struggled to keep heat in their tyres, the time deficit between Rosberg and Hamilton varied but held a larger lead over the rest of the field. Rosberg locked his tyres into Mirabeau corner but avoided driving onto the turn's escape road on lap 18. Soon after, the stewards imposed five-second stop-and-go penalties on Chilton, Ericsson and Gutiérrez for being out of position on the grid. Lami, in his Novelle Letterarie di Firenze (1747), first makes this identification, based on a representation of the Order's symbol that he saw "on the campanile of the conventual church of the Knights (Cavalieri) at Altopascio". He started out with a number of small western films (Go Away! Different headlines have been used during its publishing life, such as Novelle del Mondo (news of the world) or Compendio de' foglio più accreditati d'Europa (Summary of the most reliable papers of Europe). This newspaper, on two columns, followed the usual style of the gazettes of early 18th-century, listing the news without title under the town and date where they were obtained. In 1777 it started to have sometime a supplement (“additional paper”) dedicated to a some particular news. On 28 August 1778 Antonio Graziosi started to publish the first concurrent: the newspaper Notizie del mondo. In September 1781 the Nuovo Postiglione started to advertise other books of the same publisher, and it became issued two times a week, even if this change was formally authorized only in 1792. From 22 May 1797 it was published every day but Sunday, on 7 June 1800 it returned bi- weekly, on 28 June 1808 it was published three times a week, a periodicity it maintained except from 1810 to 1812 when it was printed four times a week.
