Manti Temple architect William Folsom, followed the same arrangement for that temple, which was dedicated in 1888. Based on his experience with the Logan Temple, Angell petitioned church president John Taylor to override Young's original design for the Salt Lake Temple's interior with progressive ordinance rooms, which Taylor enthusiastically approved (Salt Lake Temple, 54–55). This became the pattern for all temples until the construction of the Swiss Temple, when non-progressive ordinance rooms were developed to incorporate the new filmed Endowment ceremony (Buerger, 166).

The Young Turks, Cenk Uygur, claims that EMILY's list is a hypocritical financial vehicle for Centrist Democrats to support non- progressive candidates in primary elections - even going so far as to initially support pro-life Dan Lipinski over Marie Newman who favors abortion rights. Critics would like to see EMILY's List expand its definition of "women's issues" to include economic issues like a higher minimum wage and expanded Social Security. A Statement of Demonstrated Ability is a statement granted at the discretion of a Federal Air Surgeon to a person who is disqualified from obtaining a pilot's medical certification. It is granted only if the disqualifying condition or disease is static or non-progressive, and the person has been found capable of performing airman duties without endangering public safety. A Statement of Demonstrated Ability does not expire and only authorizes a designated aviation medical examiner to issue a medical certificate of a specified class if the examiner finds that the medical condition described on its face has not adversely changed. In granting a Statement of Demonstrated Ability, the Federal Air Surgeon may consider the persons operational experience and any medical facts that may affect the ability of the person to perform airman duties.

Alternatives and Opportunities (2012) was Feyrer’s first show at Catriona Jeffries Gallery. The show included 16mm film, sculptures, and daguerreotype prints. Among the works included was The Artist’s Studio (2012), a three-part daguerreotype based on Louis Daguerre’s daguerreotype of ‘an artist studio’ taken in 1836. In Little pitchers have ears (2012), Feyrer created a binaural microphone in the shape of a head that recorded their walk around the museum spaces of the Royal BC Museum in Victoria, BC. Their film, Dailies (2012), documents the production of clocks, which are described as being, "each ‘alive’ yet paralyzed in their moment, performing a durational yet non-progressive trick precariously and nervously." The daguerreotypes of The Artist’s Studio (2012) were acquired by the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, Vancouver, BC., in 2012.

During the 2019 federal election, the Green Party filed a complaint to National NewsMedia Council after PressProgress published a report on the Green Party's stance on abortion. The Hill Times said that Vice, The Canadian Anti-Hate Network, and PressProgress, had reported on issues such as "Trudeau's blackface, Wet’suwet’en defenders, and far-right terrorism", when mainstream Canadian news media had failed to do so.
