In 1908, in large part due to the Militias' resistance to more reform, the militia were reduced to a draft finding and training role.Beckett pp. 216-127 Now renamed the 3rd (Reserve) Battalion, it would take over the running of the regimental Depot, being part of the local garrison during a mobilisation. After serving in this role in World War I, it was not reformed after the war, the role of the original militia no longer existing, and was finally disbanded after a long period of suspended animation in 1953.

The Abbey of San Nazzaro was built in 1040 near a ward on the Sesia river, likely the location of a pre-existing monastery dating from the Lombard period. His founder was Riprand, bishop of Novara, who assigned it to the Benedectines. In the 13th century the abbey was fortified, including round towers, and surrounded with moats and walls, in order to work also as a shelter for the local population in case of invasion. The entrance was a large square tower with a drawbridge, no longer existing today.

He was a friar of the Dominican order and lived a life, mostly spent in the monastery of Santa Caterina, of irreproachable morals, characterized by attention to the poor and the sick. Cavalca dedicated much time and care to nunneries in the province of Pisa and his activity led to the foundation in 1342, just before his death, of the Dominican nunnery of Santa Marta (today no longer existing) in Pisa.

The Studentendorf of the Freie Universität Berlin, which was its original name, is an ensemble of 28 loosely arranged houses composed as an urban landscape across 5 hectares. The Berlin-based architectural office , Daniel Gogel and Peter Pfankuch designed the buildings of the first and second building phase of the Studentenndorf. During the first phase, 1957-1959, 12 houses for men and six for women, the mayor's office, a shop, and the library were built. The second phase, 1962-1964, included the semi-detached house, the community centre and the no longer existing residence of the Academic Director.

The focus of the Lordship of Hummel was (the no-longer existing) Hummel Castle, located on a mountain above the valley of the Bystrzyca Dusznicka river, approximately 3 km west of Duszniki Zdrój (Dušníky, Bad Reinerz). Due to its geographical location, it secured the important road from Prague via the Hummel Pass to Kłodzko (Kladsko, Glatz) and Wrocław (Breslau, Vratislav), the so-called Poland Route. Hummel Castle was called in until the 15th century. In 1427, it was conquered by the Hussites, who used it as a base for their attacks on Kladsko Land and neighbouring Silesia.

Aerial photo of the Luneta hotel in 1930, to the left of the no-longer existing University Apartments During World War II, the Luneta Hotel became a brothel of American G.I.s who were off to Corregidor after Manila had been declared an open city. Surviving veterans of the war still recall how the hotel served as a hope when it survived the bombardment and how it was turned into a comfort area for soldiers facing imminent death. In its early years, the hotel became the site of European imports that were distributed to Manila. It was a time of beauty, innovation and peace.

Remains of the factory still exist, and the sluice where water (from Gillis Falls Run) came to run the machinery is still visible in the wooded area below New Port Hill leading north to the dam, no longer existing. Just north, 300 yards up the hill and west of the existing road (SR 94) on John Pickett Road, was a wormseed distillery, where wormseed oil was steam-distilled. This small factory was later converted into the Woodbine Canning Factory, canning tomatoes, corn, and peas. The factory burned in June 1933 and was converted to a paper mill in the 1950s.

The prayer site was extended southwards to double its length from 28 to 60 meters, and the original plaza of four meters to 40 meters: the small 120 square meter area in front of the wall became the Western Wall Plaza, now in use as an open-air synagogue covering 20,000 square meters. In a letter to the United Nations, the Israeli government stated nine months later that the buildings were demolished after the Jordanian government had allowed the neighborhood to become a slum area. The expelled community continues to elect an administrator or mukhtar for the no-longer existing Moroccan Quarter.

A small alley branching off of the Plaza—Wine Street—had its name changed by City Council ordinance in 1877 to Olvera Street to honor Agustin Olvera, the first Superior Court Judge of Los Angeles County, who owned a no longer existing adobe house nearby. The Prussian deportations, also known as the Prussian expulsions of Poles (, ), were the mass expulsions of ethnic Poles (and to a lesser extent, Polish Jews) from the German-controlled Prussia between 1885 and 1890. More than 30,000 Poles with Austrian or Russian citizenship were deported from the Prussian part of divided Poland to the respective Austrian and Russian Partitions of the no-longer existing Commonwealth. The deportations were carried out in an inhumane way, and were based on ethnic discrimination principles. The county-wide expulsion was condemned by the Polish public as well as the federal German parliament.

In April 1927 the 1st Provisional Executive Committee of the Chinese National Federation of Peasants' Associations was formed in order to prevent the Chinese peasant movement from failure. The members tried to organize the first National Peasants' Congress and help local associations from being dissolved by the armed forces of "local tyrants & evil gentry" and right-wing warlords. However, due to the inapposite direction from the CCP central committee and Comintern, they failed and the provisional committee itself was no longer existing de facto after 1927. Mao Zedong may be the most famous leader of the peasant movement.

It used to have a synagogue, but it was destroyed by the local Jewish population, angered after the Red Army, which had invaded Poland in 1939, desecrated the synagogue by turning it into a storage building. Most of the Jewish population perished in the Holocaust. There was also a large population of Belarusians and/or the Eastern Orthodox and Jews (743 in 1878). Jews first came into the area in 1690 and there were two Jewish cemeteries in the vicinity, one to the north of the marketplace (no longer existing) and one in the district of Jałówka.

KY 1205 and most of KY 691 are the current designations for the original KY 100 ending. The remaining parts of the original alignment in western Cumberland County are either no longer existing (especially the originally unpaved section) or it still does, but is now maintained by the Cumberland County Road Department. In 2015, KY 100's western terminus was re-located to end at the crossroads intersection with U.S. Route 68 and US 68 Business on the east side of Russellville. Edward Jan (or Ewald Oskar) Dytko (18 October 1914 – 13 June 1993) was a Polish football player, who, when his home country became Poland by Treaty of Versailles represented the no longer existing team of Dąb Katowice, also in 1935-39 he played in the Polish National Team. He was born in Zalenze (now a district of Katowice) and since early childhood played soccer. In 1931 he became a player of Dab, where he spent his all career. Pollution of water bodies and acid rain also affect an individual's survival. In general, the diversity of amphibians decreases as the pollution level in a water body increases.

In winter, the island's total population is five people. In spite of this, Flatey used to be one of the main cultural centres of Iceland, with its no-longer existing monastery (founded in 1172) standing on the highest point of the island as its beacon of knowledge. Records show that millionaire Andrew Carnegie granted $130,810 made February 3, 1910, for the main and no longer existing Liberty Plaza branch libraries. Opened in 1912, the building, reminiscent of an Italian palazzo and the Boston Public Library was designed by Edward Lippincott Tilton, who had designed many other Carnegie libraries as well as the immigration station at Ellis Island.

Aristotelian physics is the form of natural science described in the works of the Greek philosopher Aristotle (384–). In his work Physics, Aristotle intended to establish general principles of change that govern all natural bodies, both living and inanimate, celestial and terrestrialincluding all motion (change with respect to place), quantitative change (change with respect to size or number), qualitative change, and substantial change ("coming to be" [coming into existence, 'generation'] or "passing away" [no longer existing, 'corruption']). Harewood Mall, December, 2003Harewood is the name of a lake and a plain of the Canadian province of British Columbia. It is located in Nanaimo, on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Its geographical coordinates are Natural Resources Canada The name has been in use since at least 1913, when Harewood referred to a small mining village in the area, no longer existing, having been overtaken by Nanaimo. The mine was owned in part by the seventh son of Henry Lascelles, 3rd Earl of HarewoodBC Geographical Names Information System who served on the BC coast as captain of the gunboat HMS Forward and set up the Harewood Coal Mining Company to work deposits he acquired.

It is possible to donate in the name of a third party, making a gift in honor or in memory of someone or something. The town was founded in 1032 as Yuriiv by Yaroslav the Wise, whose Christian name was Yuri. The present name of the city, literally translated, is "White Church" and may refer to the (no longer existing) white-painted cathedral of medieval Yuriiv. It sits on a valley, parallel to the Bela Vista plateau, being famous for the mouth of the river Alviela, a tributary of Tagus river, inserted on the diversity of colours which, all combined, create a pictoresque landscape. It is a land of campinos (the regional name given to the cattle herders), horses, bulls and nature that help making Vale de Figueira a unique place in the Ribatejo region. The village is rich in the production of vine and cereals. There is not a consensus, but most believe the origin of the name Vale de Figueira comes from the no-longer existing coating of fig trees that used to cover the area.

On October 17, 1941, the armored divisions SS Division Wiking and 1st SS Division Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler of 1st Panzer Group arrived on the outskirts of Taganrog and several panzers made breakthrough to the seaport and opened fire at gunboats "Krenkel" and "Rostov-Don" and the last transport ship evacuating women and children. The Gully of Petrushino is a quarry situated near Beriev Aircraft Company, which was formed in the early 20th century after extractions of clay for a no longer existing brickworks.

In Terminator: Dark Fate, a direct sequel to Judgment Day, Schwarzenegger plays a T-800 called "Carl" as a minor character. Originally one of a series of Terminators sent back by Skynet to kill John Connor, the Terminator that would become Carl successfully tracked down and killed John Connor in Livingston, Guatemala in 1998, in which it received an identifiable scar on the right side of its face from Sarah during the shootout between them. Adamski created his works of art for over 40 years. He made many works in his art studio, including those that decorated and decorate, until today, his hometown and other cities in his home country: a monument of Józef Piłsudski, a plaque commemorating the Katyń massacre, a 700th anniversary plaque with Warcisław IV on the wall of the Town Hall in Szczecinek, water fountains on the city promenade, Gryffin on the building at Koszalińska Street, Halberds for the City Hall, Signposts showing direction to friendly countries. On his uncle's death, Chambord claimed the crown, but lived in exile and upon his death in 1883, the direct male-line of Louis XV became extinct. In 1848, Louis Philippe was himself overthrown by the February Revolution, and abdicated the throne in favor of his young grandson, Philippe, Comte de Paris. However, a republic was proclaimed, leaving Paris, like his cousin Chambord, merely a pretender to a no longer existing crown. The now demolished Phønix Sugar Refinery in Copenhagen De Danske Sukkerfabrikker was founded at the initiative of Carl Frederik Tietgen on 20 April 1872. The newly established company acquired two existing sugar refineries in Copenhagen from Det kjøbenhavnske Skibsrederi, a subsidiary of H. Puggaard & Co.. One of them was the Phønix Sugar Refinery (Rafinaderiet Phønix) on Slotsholmen (Slotsholmsgade/Christians Brygge) and the other was Helsingørsgade Sugar Refinery was located in the now no longer existing street Helsingørsgadem between Adelgade and Borgergade. The first board consisted of Tietgen (chairman), Gustav Brock, E. J. Hvidt, Hans Peter Ingerslev, Tage Reedtz-Thott, Sehestedt-Juul. The company H. Puggaard & Co., the parent company of Det kjøbenhavnske Skibsrederi, led by Rudolph Puggaard was charged with handling the daily operations while Tietgen convinced the engineer Gustav Adolph Hagemann to join the company as chief technical officer.

Currently, the parcel is the subject of litigation and ongoing investigations by various agencies. Long Island Traditions also describes the sites of notable architecture in Freeport's history, such as bay men's homes and commercial fishing establishments, some of which are still existing, as well as the still-existing Fiore’s Fish Market and Two Cousins, which are located in historic waterfront buildings, built by the owners, so they could negotiate directly with the baymen as they pulled into dock. Long Island Traditions also describes and provides a photograph of the no-longer existing Woodcleft Hotel and important boatyards, about which the site writes: > In Freeport the Maresca boatyard stands on the site of what is now the Long > Island Marine Education Center owned by the Village of Freeport. Founded in > the 1920s by Phillip Maresca, they built both recreational and commercial > boats.

Ryszard Kaczorowski was born on 26 November 1919, in a wooden house at 7 Mazowiecka StreetKwartał prezydenta Ryszarda Kaczorowskiego w Białymstoku in Piaski District of Białystok. The house stood at the intersection of Mazowiecka Street with the no longer existing Argentyńska Street., Białystok, Poland. His parents were Wacław Kaczorowski, of Jelita and Jadwiga (née Sawicka). In 1920, when Białystok was overrun by Soviet forces during the Polish-Soviet War, it briefly served as headquarters of the Polish Revolutionary Committee headed by Julian Marchlewski, which attempted to declare the Polish Soviet Socialist Republic.Zbiór afiszów i druków ulotnych 1944–1950, nr z 376, sygn. 262 "Wystawa – 50 lat Archiwum w Białymstoku" , retrieved on: 9 August 2007. The city again changed hands after the Battle of Białystok, when the city was liberated by the 1st Legions Infantry Division and 5th Legions' Infantry Regiment.

Marco Hughes, former activist director of MDI (Meldpunt Discriminatie op Internet), a centre that monitors racism on the internet, has also fallen victim to Gregorius Nekschot, when his organization incarnated as a rat copulating with would-be Dutch fundamentalist terrorists (Hofstadgroep) in one of Nekschots cartoons in Misselijke grappen 1(pag 138). In a Turkish journal Hughes complained in 2006 that Dutch authorities turned a blind eye to racist internet sites, naming both an apparently no longer existing site [on which visitors called] for setting fire to mosques and a site in support of Ayaan Hirsi Ali publishing online shirts poking fun at the prophet. Hughs said Dutch authorities failed to take action about Muslim complaints. In a news release on their website MDI said it would take a special interest in monitoring developments in the case.

Rceme1952The only modification ever made to this badge was in 1952 when Elizabeth II ascended to the throne, and the Tudor Crown was replaced with St. Edward's Crown. During the 1950s, the RCEME Corps was reorganized to accommodate the postwar structure of the Army, and many trades were combined, due to the need to have specialists quickly fielded for the war no longer existing. Young craftsmen (as privates in the corps are called) trained in their trade at the RCEME school, titled the Royal Canadian School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, located in Kingston, Ontario, then deployed to the various squadrons and troops of RCEME to perform their trades. In the mid 1960s, Canadian Army planners were again looking to streamline the structure of the Army, and beginning in 1965, various models were proposed for combining the elements of maintenance, supply and transport for each brigade into one unit.

For example, in X-Factor #33 the Alliance of Evil demonstrates against the MRA in Manhattan and after fighting X-Factor are arrested by Freedom Force and in Captain America #368 (March 1990) a mutant group called the Resistants are shown protesting the Act in Washington D.C. Indeed, far from publicly agitating against the act, one X-team (X-Factor, in its original form) actually pretend in public to be supporters of the MRA who are actively enforcing it, though in actuality they act to subvert it. With Freedom Force (the characters most involved in the enforcement of the Act) no longer existing (they disband following a disastrous mission in Iraq in X-Factor Annual #6, 1991) and Chris Claremont (the writer who developed the MRA as a sub-plot) no longer writing X-Men stories after 1992, the Mutant Registration Act stopped appearing prominently in Marvel Universe stories.

Although no longer existing, the Dry Creek sawmill, built in 1841 for the expressed purpose of supplying lumber for doors and furnishings of the first Calcasieu Parish courthouse, was located on Mill Bayou, about one-fourth mile south of the current Dry Creek Cemetery. In 1671 he produced a canvas, that was lost, for the Milanese church of Santa Maria del Carmine and another, also no longer existing, for the Scuola di San Giovanni in Murano, which suggests his presence in Venice, while one of his trip to Rome before 1674 was hypothesized to explain the influence of Roman painting in his painting of Blessed Tolomeo, preserved in the Milanese church of San Vittore al Corpo. In 1680, three canvases were commissioned for the church of San Sebastiano, in Milan. His masterpieces are considered the frescoes on the counter-façade, in the choir and in the dome of the Milanese church of Sant'Alessandro.

In Gowdie and Breadhead's case, the Council advised they should be found guilty only if the confessions had been volunteered without torture, that they were sane and without a wish to die. There is no record of Gowdie being executed although this is not unusual as in 90 per cent of Scottish cases the final outcome is unknown due to the local records no longer existing. Wilby hypothesises that once the commission was returned to Auldearn, Gowdie and Breadhead would have been found guilty at a local trial in mid-July, transported by cart to Gallowhill on the outskirts of Nairn where they would have been strangled and burned. Prior to 1678 most Scottish witches tried under a Privy Council commission were convicted and executed; Pitcairn shared the opinion that Gowdie and Breadhead were executed and most modern day academics, like historian Brian P. Levack, agree it would be the likely outcome.

The self-defence centres in Wołyń Voivodeship, 1943 The village was one of several points of Polish defence against the OUN-UPA murderous raids during the wave of massacres of Poles in Volhynia between 1942 and 1945. The Polish self- defence unit represented mostly by Armia Krajowa managed to hold their position there till the arrival of the Red Army in 1944. The village offered protection to Polish and Jewish escapees from the area, provided food and shelter, and organised counter-attacks against the UPA attackers. The list of Polish villages from the area that managed to defend themselves against the genocide being committed by the Ukrainian nationalists include: Pańska Dolina, Zaturce, Huta Stara, Zasmyki, Dąbrowa, Dederkały, Rybcza, Jagodzin-Rymacze, Przebraże (see Przebraże Defence), Rożyszcze, Antonówka Szepelska, Bielm- Spaszczyzna, Witoldówka, Ostróg; as well as Młynów, Kurdybań Warkowicki (no longer existing, similar to many of the aforementioned settlements), Lubomirka, Klewań, Rokitno, Budki Snowidowickie, and Osty.

This suggests that the names of no-longer-existing towns were remembered from an older time, because it is unlikely that Homer would have managed to name successfully a diverse list of important Bronze Age cities that were, in his time, only a few blocks of rubble on the surface, often without even names. Furthermore, the cities enumerated in the Catalogue are given in geographical clusters, this revealing a sound knowledge of Aegean topography. Some evidence is equivocal: locating the Bronze Age palace of Sparta, the traditional home of Menelaus, under the modern city has been challenging, though archaeologists have discovered at least one Mycenaean era site about 7.5 miles outside of Sparta.

The same author observes that the character of the Cynaethians presented a striking contrast to that of the other Arcadians, being a wicked and cruel race, and so much disliked by the rest of their countrymen, that the latter would scarcely hold any intercourse with them. At the start of the 2003 regular season, CBS Sports introduced Posthumus Zone as the new theme music for The NFL Today and for the network's NFL game telecasts. The song was composed by Los Angeles electronica group E.S. Posthumus, so named because it composes songs that have no-longer-existing ancient cities as a motif. In 2006, Posthumus Zone and a remixed version titled Rise to Glory were included as tracks on the group's second CD release, Rise to Glory. The song Rise to Glory was also featured on The NFL Today and on CBS' NFL broadcasts during the 2005 season. In 2003, ABC and the NFL dropped the Monday Night Football game for the final week of the regular season. The move, which had been in effect for the first eight years of the broadcast (1970–1977), was the result of declining ratings, as well as problems involved for potential playoff teams, as there was a potential of only four days rest between their final regular season game and first-round playoff game.

The ecclesiastical authority had forbidden the only kind of corporation which the State recognized as authorized to collect funds for purposes of worship or have the right of ownership for purposes of worship. The State considered previously legally-recognized churches, as no longer existing; and, in cases where no religious associations were incorporated, took over the property of the churches and turned the property over by decree to the charitable establishments of the respective municipality; in such cases, the Church lost this property forever. After the publication of the encyclical, des Houx supported a policy opposed to that which he held twenty years earlier in Rome.

No longer existing as an independent institution, Hamilton Academy had a history going back to 1588 when it was endowed by The 1st Marquess of Hamilton (c. 1535-1604), an extremely powerful Scottish nobleman. Anne, Duchess of Hamilton, by left The school, then known as the Old Grammar School of Hamilton (not to be confused with the present Hamilton Grammar School), stood near the churchyard adjoining Hamilton Palace until, in 1714, Anne, 3rd Duchess of Hamilton, great-granddaughter of the Founder, re-located the school to a new building on the newly named Grammar School Square also in the lower part of the town, and presented this to the Town Council of Hamilton. The Statistical Account of Lanarkshire of 1835 notes of this school building that it "is a venerable pile, near the centre of the town, containing a long wainscotted hall, emblazoned with the names of former scholars, cut out in the wood, as at Harrow." right In 1847 this old school building on Grammar School Square was sold for £253 and survived until its demolition in 1932.

In an 1835 letter Oliver Cowdery appeared to reference this scene while describing the scroll of Joseph: > The inner end of the same roll, (Joseph's record,) presents a representation > of the judgement: At one view you behold the Savior seated upon his throne, > crowned, and holding the sceptres of righteousness and power, before whom > also, are assembled the twelve tribes of Israel, the nations, languages and > tongues of the earth, the kingdoms of the world over which satan is > represented as reigning, Michael the archangel, holding the key of the > bottomless pit, and at the same time the devil as being chained and shut up > in the bottomless pit. As this papyri fragment came from a different scroll than that associated with the Book of Joseph (Book of the Dead for Ta-Sherit-Min), and the judgement scene is very common, it is possible that he was describing a similar, no longer existing version of the same scene from the Ta-Sherit-Min scroll. It is also possible that Cowdery conflated the two in his mind, thinking that the Nefer-ir-nebu vignette actually came from the Ta-Sherit-Min scroll.

In April 1704, after two years of French occupation, Neuenburg was completely destroyed at the command of King Louis XIV of France, and the population was taken up in the territory of the Prince-Bishopric of Basel in Schliengen and Steinenstadt. In the following years and decades, more wars of succession took place. Again and again, there were clashes between Habsburg on the right side of the Rhine and France on the left side of the Rhine, while Neuenburg as a so-called "front city" changed occupation several times. Allies (September 6, 1953): on the left the road to Chalampé with parts of the provisional pontoon bridge over the Rhine, at the top left the "Wuhrloch", at the bottom left a corner of the now no longer existing Rhine port, on the right the railway line of Mulhouse with shadows of the remnants of the railway bridge over the Rhine, which was blown up by the Wehrmacht on their retreat on February 9, 1945 (picture dated before the completion of the Grand Canal d'Alsace) After the conquest of the right- Rhine areas by Napoléon Bonaparte and the reorganization of the ownerships by him, the Habsburgs lost the territories of Further Austria.
