A college girl named Leah (Leila George) befriends a fellow student named Pearl (Emily Meade) and falls in love with her much to the dismay of her mother Julie (Tori Spelling). Leah learns that Pearl is a Nightwalker (a vampire), needing to kill people to consume their blood. Pearl belongs to a gang of female Nightwalkers that preys on abusive men and forcibly inducts women into their group by biting and then not eating them. The Nightwalker Queen (Zoe Sidel) has her sights set on Leah as the next member and wants Pearl to bite her, threatening to bite her herself if Pearl doesn't comply.

The Nightwalkers attack him and start to eat him but are interrupted, allowing him to transform into a Nightwalker. Now given enhanced abilities, Bob leads the Nightwalkers in an assault of Leah. Julie is killed trying to rescue her, and Leah takes vengeance by bludgeoning him to apparent death.

The song was produced by the three brothers Gino, Joe, and Ross Vannelli, and written by Gino. Released as a single in 1981, the song was his second top ten hit in the U.S. during the spring and summer of 1981, peaking at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The player is forced to fight and defeat him. It turns out the head vampire wasn't really the true leader of nightwalkers in the city, as he was advised by two nightwalkers who were naturally born as vampires and can survive in the daytime. The player fights and kills the first. The second doesn't resist and offers the player the choice to kill him or not, claiming that the future of the nightwalker race will soon be revealed.

The laws continued to be amended in various ways over the years. Nightwalker statutes were English statutes, before modern policing, allowing or requiring night watchmen to arrest those found on the streets and hold them until morning.Atwater v. Such power was interpreted to extend not only to the watchmen themselves, but also to assistants, and allowed the arrest and detention of all persons.

Later on it is revealed that the AIB, acting of their own accord, plan for America to enter full-scale war against the Nightwalkers. They send their own human/nightwalker hybrids to kill the player's group to get rid of the evidence, and send the rest of their forces against the Nightwalkers' headquarters in the city. The player defeats all the hybrids and vampires in their way, eventually meeting with the leader of the vampires in an attempt to keep the peace. Unfortunately, the leader also wants full-scale war against the humans, and plans to change the whole city into nightwalkers.

State Road 50 begins at US 19 and County Road 550 in the former City of Weeki Wachee. The first intersection around the east side of the city limits is with Deltona Boulevard(CR 589), which can be found on the opposite side of the West Hernando County Public Library. From here the road is mostly lined with residential properties to the south and sparse commercial offices ranging from a Hernando County Firehouse, to an office for the Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, to random medical offices. East of Nightwalker Road and July Avenue, SR 50 enters land owned by the Southwest Florida Water Management District, and the right-of-way for a set of power lines.

If the player collects enough "Medals" that are either placed in hidden or difficult to reach spots throughout the game as well as passing certain missions under certain conditions such as within a time-limit, without needing to retry from a checkpoint or without killing any Nightwalkers will reward the player with extra side-missions and challenges. Online multiplayer involves up to eight players in standard modes such as deathmatch, team deathmatch and capture the flag, as well as the unique mode which allows one to become a nightwalker and fight opponents with extreme speed and power. All the firearms are available online and the gameplay is handled like in single-player.

The village's wise woman tells Ashitaka that he may find a cure in the western lands Nago came from, but he cannot return to his homeland. Before Ashitaka leaves, his sister, Kaya, gives him her crystal dagger so that he will not forget her. Heading west, Ashitaka meets Jigo ("Jiko-bō" in the original Japanese version), an opportunist posing as a monk, who tells Ashitaka he may find help from the Great Forest Spirit, a deer-like animal god by day and a giant "nightwalker" by night. Nearby, men herd oxen to Irontown ("Tataraba" in Japanese), led by Lady Eboshi, and repel an attack by a wolf pack led by the wolf goddess Moro.

His next album, Nightwalker, also produced a top ten hit, "Living Inside Myself". He received the Juno Awards for the most promising male vocalist of the year in 1975. In 1976, and again 1979, he received Juno Awards for the best male vocalist. He and his brother Joe, his musical partner during those years, shared the Juno for Best Production for Brother to Brother in 1979. Like other officers, watchmen could become the focus for trouble themselves, adding to the hullabaloo at night instead of ordering others to keep the noise down and go to bed. And as by day, there were more than a few crooked officers policing the streets at night, quite happy to turn a blind eye to trouble for a bribe. Watchman Edward Gardener was taken before the recorder with 'a common nightwalker' – Mary Taylor – in 1641 after he 'tooke 2s to lett' her 'escape' when he was escorting her to Bridewell late at night. Another watchman from over the river in Southwark took advantage of the tricky situation people suddenly found themselves in if they stumbled into the watch, 'demanding money [from them] for passing the watch'.

One of the characters speculates that the Earth is revenging itself on humanity, but at the end of the book the mystery has not been solved and the destruction has not stopped. Tessier's next book was The Nightwalker (1979), the brief, terse story of a young American Vietnam veteran adrift in London who seems possessed by an uncontrollable urge to inflict mutilation and death and may, in fact, be a werewolf. In Shockwaves (1982), a young woman achieves an ambition out of romantic fiction when an up- and-coming lawyer asks her to marry him; but her life is overshadowed by the presence of an apparently supernatural murderer known only as The Blade. Phantom (1982) deals with a young boy's confrontations with death, starting with his mother's dangerous asthma attack and ending with a disturbing vision of the afterlife.

The album Dwellers of Sand Castle was named one of the top albums from 1989-1998 in a 2004 issue of the music magazine Band Yarouze. Their single "Mirai Kōro" was used as the ending for the anime Nightwalker: The Midnight Detective and reached No. 3 on the Oricon singles chart. They founded their own label, Majestic Ring, in 2003. Koji left the band after a gig on March 21, 2005, and in September 2006 the band announced that they would officially disband in January 2007. Koji formed ALvino in 2006, with former Pierrot member Jun. Taka and Hiro formed the band Libraian in 2007. In 2009, Hiro became a support guitarist for Creature Creature, the solo project of Morrie from Dead End. He also contributes compositions to the band, including "Dream Caller", the lead track of their 2009 album Inferno.

Tomlin's career on daytime serials began in 1973 when he was cast on CBS's Search for Tomorrow as Bruce Carson. He also made a guest appearance on "The Nightwalker" episode of the Waltons (1976). He later appeared as Morgan Simpson on the NBC soap opera Another World in 1979. Both series were produced in New York City by Procter and Gamble Productions. Tomlin served as the co-head writer of NBC's Days of Our Lives, which tapes in Los Angeles, from 1980 to 1981. He then returned to New York as the head writer for Another World from 1984 to 1985 (at times sharing the position with others). Tomlin next wrote scripts for the Los Angeles serial Santa Barbara (NBC) from 1987 to 1990. At the same time, Tomlin directed episodes of Another World from 1987 to 1991, later directing on ABC's One Life to Live from 1992 to 1995.

On December 10, they released their tenth studio album, Sexy Stream Liner, marking the maturation of their new cyberpunk style, which emerged in their visual image as well, with the band sporting "tattoos" and electronic gadgetry on their costumes. Imai began to incorporate the use of a theremin into Buck-Tick's live shows and even into their recordings, beginning with the song "My Fuckin’ Valentine". On May 13, 1998, they released the single "Gessekai", which was used as the opening theme to the anime series Nightwalker: The Midnight Detective. Shortly after this, on the wave of the anime boom, Japanese music began to gain popularity in the West by the internet, and "Gessekai" became the song that first introduced Buck-Tick to many foreign fans. Later in 1998, and continuing in 1999, the various Buck- Tick members involved themselves in many collaborations with other artists.
