Kavinsky is a character made by Vincent Belorgey that has a striking resemblance to Vincent himself but the backstory does not follow anything in Belorgey's history. Kavinsky's story is that after crashing his Testarossa in 1986, he reappeared as a zombie in 2006 to make his own electronic music. Kavinsky's songs help tell his story; Vincent claims in an interview, "'Night Call' is just about the zombie guy [who] goes to his girlfriend's house and says okay I'm not the same, we need to talk", referring to Kavinsky going back to find his girlfriend after the crash who has already moved on with her life.

Before she became an actress, she was a model who went by the name Diane Potter. Born in San Diego, the six-foot-tall actress is best known for her starring role in the Barbara Peeters–directed low-budget drive-in film Bury Me an Angel, her first real role aside from an uncredited appearance as a biker chick in Angels Die Hard. She also appears in Night Call Nurses and worked as a production assistant on Peeters’ Summer School Teachers (her last known credit).

Liam travels to Shanghai, promising to call Adelaide daily while he is there. Upon arrival, he is greeted by his cousin who speaks English and who has found an older couple to buy Liam's house for him. After spending a night out on the town with his cousin and a call girl named Amy (who he did not have sex with), as well as an awkward late night call from Adelaide at his hotel, Liam goes to meet the buyers of his house. After seeing the view of Shanghai from the house, and being told that the house would sell for five hundred thousand yuan and not five hundred thousand U.S. dollars,1 Chinese yuan = 0.142763 U.S. dollars (in 2007) Liam chooses not to sell the house.

Bury Me an Angel (1971) was the first biker movie directed by a woman, Barbara Peeters. Corman financed the directorial debuts of Curtis Hanson, Sweet Kill (1971), produced by Corman protege Tamara Asseyev. Student Nurses led to a "cycle" of nurse pictures, including Private Duty Nurses (the first film directed by George Armitage), Night Call Nurses (1972) (the first feature directed by Jonathan Kaplan), The Young Nurses and Candy Stripe Nurses (1975). There was also The Student Teachers (1973) and Summer School Teachers (1974). Big Doll House was followed by a series of women in prison pictures, such as Women in Cages (1972), The Hot Box (1972), Black Mama, White Mama (1973), The Arena (1974) (the first film directed by Steve Carver) and Caged Heat (1974) (the first film directed by Demme).

Aoki's fourth studio album, Steve Aoki Presents Kolony, was released on July 21, 2017. It features the songs "Night Call" featuring Migos and Lil Yachty, "Lit" with Gucci Mane, "Been Balling" with Lil Uzi Vert and the lead single "Without You" with DVBBS featuring 2 Chainz which was released in April and debuted at Aoki's Ultra Music Festival 2017 set in Miami. In November 2017, it was confirmed that Aoki would be producing a remix of Korean group BTS’s song "Mic Drop" featuring rapper Desiigner, which was released on November 24. That day, Aoki also released a collaboration with Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui, titled "All Night". In February 2018, Aoki announced the release of his five-track EP titled 5OKI, the follow up to his 2016 EP 4OKI.

The full-cast dramatizations featured adaptations of "The Ravine", "Night Call, Collect", "The Veldt", "There Was an Old Woman", "Kaleidoscope", "Dark They Were, and Golden-Eyed", "The Screaming Woman", "A Sound of Thunder", "The Man", "The Wind", "The Fox and the Forest", "Here There Be Tygers", and "The Happiness Machine". Voiceover actor Paul Frees provided narration, while Bradbury was responsible for the opening voiceover; Greg Hansen and Roger Hoffman scored the episodes. The series won a Peabody Award and two Gold Cindy awards, and was released on CD on May 1, 2010. The series began airing on BBC Radio 4 Extra on June 12, 2011. From 1985 to 1992, Bradbury hosted a syndicated anthology television series, The Ray Bradbury Theater, for which he adapted 65 of his stories.

Peggy (Elisabeth Moss), now living with her boyfriend Abe, receives a late-night call from Bert Peterson from Cutler Gleason and Chaough. A comic appearing on The Tonight Show has made jokes about American soldiers in Vietnam cutting off Viet Cong soldiers' ears and wearing them around their necks like trophies, rendering CGC's planned Super Bowl commercial for Koss headphones (featuring the slogan "Lend Me Your Ears") potentially too controversial.

In 1970, Julie Corman married film director/ producer, Roger Corman. Corman produced a series of "Night Nurses" films, including Night Call Nurses and Candy Stripe Nurses. She went on to produce Moving Violation, starring Kay Lenz and Eddie Albert; Crazy Mama, directed by Jonathan Demme, starring Cloris Leachman, The Lady in Red, written by John Sayles, starring Robert Conrad and Pamela Sue Martin; Saturday the 14th, starring Richard Benjamin, Paula Prentiss and Jeffrey Tambor; and Da, starring Barnard Hughes, based on the Tony Award-winning play. In 1984, Corman started her own company, Trinity Pictures, with which she has produced a number of family films, two of which are based on Newbery Award- winning novels: A Cry in the Wild is based on Gary Paulsen’s novel, Hatchet, and Get a Clue is based on Ellen Raskin’s novel, The Westing Game. Corman has produced several other family films: The Dirt Bike Kid, starring Peter Billingsley; Max is Missing, shot at Machu Picchu in Peru; and Legend of the Lost Tomb, based on Walter Dean Myers’s book Tales of a Dead King and shot in Egypt.
