Stuff like NESSES and ANAS aren't that great, but they're relatively isolated and don't have too many bad crossings, IMO.

The DVD features Slipknot's entire live performance at the 2009 Download Festival and a 45-minute film documenting their tour in support of All Hope Is Gone, and served as a tribute to Paul Gray.

Crahan attended the New York event on September 27 as part of the promotion. Viewings were free and several prizes were given away randomly throughout the night at all three events. Crahan stated that "(sic)nesses was one of the single hardest pieces of art for us to complete, given the circumstances..." It was mixed at Miloco Studios in London, England, and mastered at Sterling Sound in New York.

In September the band dedicated its fourth video album (sic)nesses to the deceased bassist, which documented its performance at Download Festival in 2009. The release topped the Music Video charts in the US and the UK. A compilation album, Antennas to Hell, followed in 2012.

Among Bey's last ensembles was The Absolute Tonalist Society with Carey, Peterson and drummer Kurt Prisbe. Some of his most noted releases are Kins, Opus Krampus and Live at the DIA with Griot Galaxy, and Auzar and Ashirai Pattern with The Northwoods Improvisers. Bey published two books of poetry, Year of the Iron Sheep and Etudes in Wanton Nesses, in addition to a theoretical/aesthetic manifesto Toward a "Ratio"nal Aesthetic (1989). Bey died on June 1, 2012.

The band dedicated the 2010 video album (sic)nesses to the bassist, which was recorded live at Download Festival in 2009. After Joey Jordison left the band in 2013, the band added Alessandro Venturella and Jay Weinberg on bass and drums, respectively. .5: The Gray Chapter was released in 2014 and featured songs primarily written by Corey Taylor and Jim Root, with some contributions from Shawn Crahan and Craig Jones.
