Phuture, a group founded by Nathan "DJ Pierre" Jones, Earl "Spanky" Smith Jr., and Herbert "Herb J" Jackson, is credited with having been the first to use the TB-303 in the house music context.

Patrick Arokiasamy remained on the secondary school teaching staff. (Rev. Bro. Michael Kum also served at SPI Secondary, from 1986 to 1989.) There were no Brothers left at all in the primary school, which in October 1979 moved house to a new site in the Labu area. This had been developed by a private company (Foo Kam Swee Construction), then signed over to the Brothers in exchange for the original Paul Street premises. The old brood of buildings, lovingly added to and improved by so many Brother Directors and their lay successors, were bulldozed down to make way for a shopping complex to be known as Wisma Punca Emas which still stands until today.

Mars was born in Laurens, South Carolina, to sharecropping parents. His family regularly moved house when Mars was a youngster, but at the age of nine, he was presented with his first harmonica. When he was aged fourteen, and on the death of his mother, Mars and his younger siblings moved to New Paltz, New York, and having left high school, Mars began playing in various clubs in New York City. He signed a recording contract with Mercury Records, whilst a member of the band Burning Bush, and they recorded several sides with the label. By the middle of the 1960s, Mars had moved to California, and formed the Johnny Mars Band, which found work but no recognition beyond their base in North California.

He was born in Ilford to Walter Morgan, a solicitor's clerk at the Royal Courts of Justice and his wife Anne. He was barred from attending primary school for a year after a ringworm infection on his head; the treatment, irradiation, caused hair to fall out, and his parents refused to sign the waiver absolving the health authority from responsibility should the hair not grow back. Due to this the family moved house to Little Ilford, where after leaving the local primary school he attended Raine's Foundation School, where he became interested in mechanical engineering. His growing interest in chemistry led him to start his own laboratory in a garden shed using chemicals bought from a supplier in London, with his main area of focus being the creation of "dyes and explosive compounds".

Chris Vallillo (born August 3, 1954, in Hammond, Indiana) grew up the son of a civil engineer who often moved house, the family living in many parts of the U.S. Great Lakes region. His earliest musical memory is that of seeing singing cowboys on television, which made him yearn to play guitar himself. Given an archtop Kay guitar at age ten, while the family lived near Detroit, home of the Motown Records studios, Vallillo was inspired both by his guitar lessons and by the music he heard then, not just Motown but that of the Beatles and of folk musicians such as Mississippi John Hurt and John Fahey. In college, Vallillo met another folk musician, Steve Elliott, a banjoist, and they later formed a bluegrass band, The Granite Mountain Sluice Box Boys, named after a local landmark, and played college venues and parties.

Till 1939, when she moved house, Elisabeth Hattemer was living at an address in the Hermann Street ("Hermannstraße 43") which also accommodated the Darmstadt Caritas secretariat, the Children's Welfare office of the Darmstadt branch of the Catholic Women's Association, and its children's day-care center. Shortly before the outbreak of war the Nazi authorities, who always nurtured suspicions of any community involvement by "proxies" for the Roman Catholic Church, closed down the day-care center. A few years later, the failed assassination attempt against Hitler in July 1944 failed in its primary objective, but was highly effective in unnerving the government, which promptly dusted down a long list of people who had been politically active as non-Nazis before 1933. It turned out that many names on the list belonged to people who had fled abroad or died.

Melville was born in Grenfell Street, Kent Town, South Australia, the second son of Walter Richard Birks (27 July 1847 – 4 May 1900) and his wife Jemima "Mina" Scott Birks, née Crooks (c. 1844 – 10 July 1926) who married on 29 April 1873. :Walter was a member of the highly successful Birks family whose retail stores and chemist's shops were a feature of Adelaide's Rundle Street. :For a year or two from 1869 Walter ran a general store in Kooringa, near Burra, specialising in bush clothing and groceries, then moved to Adelaide where he served as a junior partner of his famous brother Charles. :Walter and Mina moved house many times: over a twenty-five year period they occupied premises at Kent Town; Edward Street, Norwood; 7 Kensington Road, Norwood; St. Ann's Terrace, Glenelg, 1879–1883; "Silveracre" in Woodville 1883–1885; then "Cosford", a property on Black Hill Road just past Glynde; then Edwin Street, Gilberton 1887–1888; and 17 Tynte Street, North Adelaide 1891–1892.

Upon the reopening of the Royal Italian Opera in April 1847, Prospère joined the resident orchestra,The Morning Chronicle, 24 February 1847, Issue 24130 (Classified Adverts) while continuing to play for Jullien's orchestra in the seasons of Concerts d’Été and d’Hiver. On 4 February 1849, Prospère joined the Royal Society of Musicians in London.Application papers to the Royal Society of Musicians By this time, Jean Prosper and his family had moved house to 26 Brydges Street, Covent Garden. His successful application was fortunate, as medical complications forced Prospère to approach the RSM nine years later for financial relief.
