Nauticat 44 Nauticat 44 showing hull design Nauticat Yachts Oy is a manufacturer of yachts. They make traditional ketch rigged motorsailers and the pilothouse sailing yachts. They are based in Finland, and was originally known as Siltala Yachts, but the name was changed in 2005 to Nauticat which was the name of their main yacht range. They have so far manufactured over 2500 yachts ranging in size from 33 to 51 feet.

The schooner was the largest vessel designed by William H. Hand, Jr., a renowned naval architect, who was a primary developer of the V-bottomed hull motorsailers. Zodiac was built in 1924 at the Hodgdon Brothers Shipyard, East Boothbay, Maine. As built the vessel was length overall, beam, design draft of and a waterline length of on design draft. Brady catamarans are twin-hulled boats that are designed by Peter Brady of Brisbane, Australia. Brady originally designed sailing cats, motorsailers and power cats, but for the last 20 years the firm (now called Pathfinder Powercats) has specialised in powered catamarans exclusively.Article on Powercats Brady catamarans are either constructed at Brady's Brisbane boatyard, or plans-built by third-party constructors for private owners. Brady catamarans tend to be built in small numbers or even as one-offs, so the firm has adopted "strip-plank" as the optimum construction method.

In total, an estimated 90 vessels of the Rogger type were built: 73 of the Rogger 10.5 (meters), 11 of the Rogger 12.5/Ushant 41 and 6 of the Rogger 14/Atlas Rogger 46. The Rogger Motorsailer Club is aware of the locations of 67 Rogger motorsailers (75% of the fleet). There is also a larger version of the Rogger known as the Banjer 37, which was built in The Netherlands and has its own club. A class of steel motorboats is also named Rogger, but these vessels are not the same as the Rogger motorsailors.
