Girardon, the director of the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture, and the governor of all royal commissions of sculpture, carved the head and the horse’s support, adding a helmet and flames while changing the face.

He counts on his annual bonus to provide the necessary funds, but his employer is slow in paying it. Her enthusiasm restored, Ruth makes the arrangements to go to New York after graduation. On the day she is scheduled to depart, Clinton suddenly loses his job after confronting his boss about his bonus, leaving him with no money to give to Ruth. When Clinton sees that Ruth is determined to go to New York even without his monetary support, he gives her his most prized possession, his treasured spyglass from his seafaring days, to sell in New York, where his old acquaintance will buy it from her for an even larger sum than the amount Clinton originally promised Ruth.

Trick is very powerful: he is a Blood Sage and can alter fate by writing it with his blood. Once known as the Blood King, he forced the truce and wrote the decrees that ended the war between Light and Dark Fae, and is on equal terms with the Fae Elders. Compared to other Fae, who have contempt for humans, he is tolerant and often fond of humans, even trading away his most prized possession to help save Kenzi's life in "Food for Thought".

Ding Dong Daddy appears in the fifth season of the animated series Teen Titans, voiced by David Johansen. He appears briefly at the end of "Homecoming, Part 2" as one of dozens of villains recruited by the Brotherhood of Evil to fight the Titans and their allies throughout the world. His next appearance is in "Revved Up", in which he steals a locked briefcase containing Robin's most prized possession and offers to return it if the Titans can beat him in a road race. He drives a customized hot rod equipped with an arsenal of weapons and devices to foil pursuers, and he is accompanied by a pit crew of gremlins in a rolling full-service repair shop that can fix damage to his vehicle and sabotage those of his competitors.

Where Lupin and Goemon Ishikawa XIII both have unique sartorial tastes, Jigen is pure basics. His typical wardrobe is a dark grey, dark green or black business suit, along with a white or light blue colored dress shirt, a black tie, and his ever-present dark grey or black broad-brimmed fedora; the hat ranks as his most prized possession outside of his weaponry. During the third anime series, Jigen's outfit is more light colored and his hatband has a cross-hatched or grid pattern design (similar to the original manga interpretation of the character); however the black look is most applied for OVA productions and TV specials.

The patriarch continued to administer the Syriac Orthodox Church prior to his death in 1166.

USS Aphrodite photographed astern of another converted yacht while escorting a convoy during World War I By 1917, with failing health, Colonel Oliver Hazard Payne decided to join other American millionaires who were lending their yachts to the US Navy for the war effort. The Navy took possession of the Aphrodite on 11 May, 1917 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and there after began removing her luxurious interior, and her once brilliant white hull was painted gunmetal gray. While Payne had sailed her with a crew of between 55 and 60, she would now carry a crew of 128 officers and men, along with four 3-inch rapid firers, two machine guns, a Y-gun, and a large number of depth charges. No longer a wealthy man’s most prized possession, she was the USS Aphrodite, (SP-135) a United States man-of-war. Colonel Payne also offered several of his crew to the Navy to serve aboard and the navy accepted several of Payne’s crew.

Private is emotionally sensitive, and is often portrayed as more observant or down to earth than the others (noticing when Skipper's ankle tag had not been taken off, indicating that he did not get a shot or suggesting that Maurice had stumbled back because of being blinded by a camera flash, which Skipper quickly labeled as preposterous though he nevertheless told Kowalski to run a scenario) as well as having fighting skills on a par with or only slightly below those of Rico and Skipper (in one episode he is able to block rapid strikes from Skipper and disarm him with his feet while spinning on his head, all while blindfolded). On the wall of the Penguin's HQ is a stuffed fish with a sign "Private's First Prize"; hiding behind it (as well as a bunch of electronic precautions) is his most prized possession: a butterscotch lollipop. Like Kowalski, he loves candy, but eating too much of it causes him to hallucinate. He has an abnormal fear of badgers and cockroaches, as shown in the "Badger Pride" and "Stop Bugging Me" episodes respectively.

Nevertheless, he assisted Bill much later financially with the expenses of his first wife Barb's cancer treatment and with the opening of his first Home Plus store, the former in exchange for Bill's marrying Roman's daughter Nicki and the latter in exchange for a share of its profits (though whether this was for the first store only is a source of serious contention between the men as the store expands into a chain). Roman loves music and has been heard singing both hymns (including The Church in the Wildwood) and folk-songs (including Big Rock Candy Mountain [in spite of its references to cigarette trees and alcohol]) for his own entertainment and that of his hosts and guests. His most prized possession is a guitar that accompanied the first Mormon pioneers to the Salt Lake Valley in 1847.
