The Church of Our Most Merciful Saviour, also known as the Santee Mission, built in 1884, is a historic Carpenter Gothic style Episcopal church located on the Missouri River in the Santee Indian Reservation in Santee, Nebraska. Although its side windows are not arched, it otherwise exhibits all the common features of Carpenter Gothic churches: board and batten siding, lancet windows on the front along with a circular rosette window, belfry tower on the side and main entrance on the side though the belfry tower. On March 16, 1972, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as the Episcopal Church. It is one of two churches in Nebraska included in the Santee Mission of the Episcopal Diocese of South Dakota.

The mihrab is located in the middle of the wall of the qiblah at the northern hallway. It is a simple cavity of about 85cm deep, and topped by a tapered lace on two poles with floral and geometric motifs. The mihrab is surrounded by kufic inscriptions, which reads as follows: "In the name of God the Most Gracious the Most Merciful I accept your Lord and be among the worshipers and not of the ignorant and worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death)", and decoration of niche from the inside and variety of plant decorations which includes leaves of grapes. On the side of the mihrab there is an inscription written in kufic of script from Surah At-Taubah 18.

As a direct result of this incident, a chapter of the Quran, Al- Masad ("The Palm Fibre"), was revealed about him. Its English translation by Sahih International reads: In the name of Allah, the most compassionate, the most merciful (بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم) #Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he, #His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained, #He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame, #His wife [as well] – the carrier of firewood (thorns of Satan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet). #Around her neck is a rope of twisted fiber (masadd). Umm Jamil is called “the bearer of the wood” because she is said to have carried thorns and cast them in Muhammad's pathway.

" Adam and Eve feel a lot of remorse for their actions, but God turns to Adam in mercy and consoles him: (2:37) > "Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord Turned > towards him; for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful." After the sabre kissing, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is given his Oath of Installation by the Grand Chamberlain through the Ceremonial Chief after the order for it is consented, and then reads it aloud. The audience then stands in respect. > In the Name of God, Most Gracious and Most Merciful: > We, N., as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, are truly grateful to God > the Almighty, the Blessed, because of this election to the honourable office > of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong that has been happened because of His > Benevolent Grace. Therefore, we shall justly and faithfully perform our > duties in the administration of the nation of Malaysia, in accordance to its > laws and its sacred constitution, shall protect the Islamic religion at all > times as mandated, and shall duly fulfil the rules of law and order and > promote good governance in our country.

Dante Smith was born in Brooklyn, and formed a group with his siblings called Urban Thermo Dynamics and then ventured on his own, becoming part of a hip hop collective with the Jungle Brothers and A Tribe Called Quest called “Native Tongues”. Later he began to work alongside Talib Kweli as Blackstar, and his music took a sociopolitical turn. Sociopolitical hip hop gained a lot of attention in the late 1990s, and in 1999 Mos Def came out with his solo debut album Black on Both Sides. The first words spoken on this album, “Bismillah ar-Rahman ar- Raheem" translate to "In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful.” His father who was a member of Nation of Islam, and he became a part of the community of Imam Warithdeen Muhammad, son of Elijah Muhammad, the founder of Nation of Islam.

By fights or wars or Punishment comes through human hands, if the Messenger has migrated from his people to another place, where he has achieved political sovereignty and makes a treaty of religious and social freedom between different groups, and whoever breaks them or transgress limits there is a justified provision to punish. Muhammad made the Constitution of Medina which speaks about secularism, justice and freedom. So there should be no point of misconception with the following verse: > But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans > wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for > them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular > prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah > is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. and > Fight those who believe not in Allah or the Last Day, nor hold that > forbidden which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor > acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until > they pay the Jizyah with willing submission and are subdued.

At the same time, he was active at Stoneleigh: collecting art, furniture and books, he also made architectural plans for the house. In 1766 and 1797 payments are recorded to Bedlam Hospital and John Munro or his son Thomas Munro, the mad-doctors who later attended to George III, and in 1774 an Inquisition of Insanity found that Leigh had been 'a Lunatick of unsound mind' over the previous five years and committed him to the guardianship of his sister, Hon. Mary Leigh, his uncle Reverend John Craven, and his cousin William, Lord Craven at which point he vanished from public view. A prayer written by his sister Mary in about 1775 survives: > O Lord look down from Heaven, in much pity and compassion, upon thy > afflicted servant, who is not able to now look up to thee, hear O most > merciful Father my Prayers on his behalf, and preserve him from doing any > harm to himself or to any other: be pleased to remove all frightfull > imaginations far from him, and if it be the blessed will, O our God restore > him to his reason and understanding, so will we all give thanks to thee for > ever and ever. Amen.
