Ernst Alexander Leipart (1831-1885), his father, was trained and had worked initially as a self- employed tailor specialising in women's dresses. By the time Theodor was born, however, his father had a more itinerant job, travelling for the "Bettfeder- Reinigungs-Anstalt" (literally, "Bed-springs cleaning institution"). His mother, born Wilhelmine Charlotte Friederike Schmidt, was the daughter of a machinist.

A court chapel (German: Hofkapelle) is a chapel (building) and/or a chapel as a musical ensemble associated with a royal or noble court. Most of these are royal (court) chapels, but when the ruler of the court is not a king, the more generic "court chapel" is used, for instance for an imperial court. In German Hofkapelle (literally: court chapel) is both the word for a royal chapel and any other court chapel. As a musical venture court chapels emerged in 16th century Europe, largely due to the consolidation of more itinerant musical groups initiated by the dukes of Burgundy and their Imperial successors in the 15th century.

Gustav Diedrich Hillard Hölscher was born in Norden, on Germany's North Sea coast and close to the Dutch frontier. Both his parents came from local families and had grown up in the town, but his own childhood was more itinerant. Wilhelm Hölscher, his father, was a Lutheran pastor and also a considerable theological theologian. In 1880, while Gustav was still very small, Wilhelm Hölscher accepted a job as director of studies at Loccum Abbey, which meant the family relocating to the far side of Bremen. Five years after that, in 1885, they relocated again, this time to Leipzig, when Wilhelm Hölscher accepted a pastoral position at the St. Nicholas Church.

In 2006, Ergueta left the rock fusion band Atajo to focused in Madre Tul band. In the same year they published the first CD Demo of the band titled Madre Tul, recorded in Bolivia between 2003 and 2006. The CD originally had also its own version of classic Arabic songs, later on, only the compositions of the band were republished, remastered, and published digitally under the same name as the original LP. In 2007, the musical project Madre Tul moved to Spain. In this country more itinerant musicians were recruited to be part of the band while recording their next CD that was published in the year 2009 under the title of Frases Aladas recorded in Spain and Bolivia.
