The North Bend Plantation site was first inhabited by the Weanoc Indians. The original portion of the present house was built in 1819 by John Minge. After earning his Juris Doctor, he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where he practiced law for several years. Matthias Maucksch made 118 Bundesliga appearances for Dynamo, more than any other player, and was manager of the club from 2009 to 2011. The six goals came in the space of 29 minutes: Wolfgang Funkel (who had been involved in the challenge that injured Jakubowski) scored a penalty in the 58th minute, which was followed by an own goal by Ralf Minge five minutes later. Wolfgang Schäfer and Dietmar Klinger added goals on 65 and 78 minutes respectively, then Funkel scored another penalty to complete a hattrick, having scored Uerdingen's goal in the first half. Bazil Marian (7 November 1922 – 19 January 2008) was a Romanian professional footballer and coach. Wang Jinping or Wang Chin-ping (; 1946 – 7 September 2019) was a scholar and president of the "China Union for Unification". He was a noted activist of the Tangwai movement in touch with many writers of the Taiwan Nativist Literature movement since the mid1970s. The advent of the Campus Folk Song Movement (xiaoyuan minge yundong 校園民歌運動) in Taiwan – that was inspired by the American folk music revival – improved the perception and degree of appreciation of folk music in the early 1970s. The folk music revival in the U.S. had peaked in the second half of the 1960s. Partly due to the presence of American GIs, transferred to Taiwan – from the Vietnam battleground – for R&R; (rest and recreation), songs by Bob Dylan and others, but also U.S. rock music arrived in Taiwan and were heard not only in U.S. clubs but also in Taiwanese avant-garde venues like the Scarecrow Coffee House and the Columbia Restaurant (both in Taipei) during the early 1970s. Commercial labels, radio and television slowly took note, as a small educated public discovered its taste for folk songs – especially American and British folk singers like Bob Dylan, Joan Baez or Judy Collins.

Brewster of Oklahoma; John S. Tanner of Tennessee; Ralph Hall, Charles Stenholm, Pete Geren and Greg Laughlin of Texas, Bill Orton of Utah; and Lewis F. Payne, Jr. and Owen Pickett of Virginia. Condit (Administration), Peterson (Policy) and Tanner (Communications) were co-chairs (Deal was initially the chair for Policy before he switched parties shortly after the caucus's founding). This heralded Wang Jinping's and Liang Jingfeng's as well as Lee Yuan-chen's and Li Shuangze's interested in aboriginal culture, especially aboriginal folk songs. Together with two other members of the Faculty of Literature, Lee Yuan-chen (Li Yuanzhen 李元貞 - the founder of Women Awakening), Liang Jingfeng, and the noted composer, poet, painter and folksinger Li Shuangze (李雙澤), Wang Jinping belonged to the group on the Tamkang campus in Tamsui that was called the "gang of four" radical pro- democracy activists.
