Only two Daisyhead recordings are known to exist: Skeletal Circus Derails, a 6-song recording from 1995, and a self-titled 14-track album from 1997, where most of the songs are cut off before they end. They also detail a point in Riggs' career when he struggled for life after Acid Bath, which disbanded following the death of bassist Audie Pitre in 1997. Toward the end of Daisyhead & The Mooncrickets, Riggs was pushing for a more melodic sound, which materializes in his subsequent bands Agents of Oblivion and Deadboy & the Elephantmen.

The tomb of Gilgamesh in Uruk from the story 'The Epic of Gilgamesh' is discovered by a young genius-scientist named Terumichi Madoka, who is drawn to the energy called Dynamis, a word meaning 'power', resonating from the site. He reports his findings, and all of the world's best scientists gather there. When an unknown life form called Tear materializes in Delphys (a pit that seems to have no dimensions and that surrounds the tomb of Gilgamesh) and begins to contaminate embryos that surround it, the scientists stop all of the experiments. Dr. Madoka goes down to Delphys, breaches all of the guards around it and comes into direct contact with Tear, causing an immense explosion that blocks out the sky with a mirror-like layer.

It was later revealed that the M’Kraan Crystal fragment that was used against Holocaust somehow transported both Holocaust and Grey into the present time of the regular Marvel universe. One of Condef's employees, George Gardner, discovers that the intruders were not stealing anything, but were instead installing chips from the company Silver Bullet Systems. The Doctor realizes that the gas used to anaesthetise the security guards surpasses Earth's current level of technology, and advises George to go to Harry Sullivan at MI5 if he learns anything further. George soon contacts Harry with devastating news; he has tested an SB chip for Y2K compliance, and it has failed. Earlier in the century, computer programmers decided to drop the number of the century from date calculations in order to save memory space; thus, when the date changes from '99 to '00, computers all over the world will assume that the year has decreased by 99 instead of increasing by 1, and chaos will ensue.

He knows these three are key in maintaining control of the planet. He has Estri's memories blocked so she will not attempt to wrest control from him; Estri's journey to understand her “Shaper” heritage is interrupted. Estri regains her memory after Khys’ council fails to get information locked in her mind by her father. Khys and Estri are taken to a planet to meet Estrazi (Estri's father) and Khystrai (Khys’ father) who tell Khys he must start over with this uninhabited planet because he has failed to govern Silistra well enough for the last 25,000 years. Estri is returned to Silistra alone and materializes in the midst of a battle between the Parset desert tribes and the privileged “Lakeborn” who live in the city of the dharen. She is reunited with Chayin and Sereth and they renew their bond to each other, although Estri fears she will hold them back with the “slave” mentality Khys forced on her.

Susan is left alive for questioning, but manages to escape from her Roboman guards and get to the heart of the Dalek Artefact. There, the Master materializes in his TARDIS and reveals that the Daleks have created a matter transmuter capable of transforming any element into any other element; he intends to use it as a weapon, holding civilisations hostage to his demands for power. The Doctor, David and Donna overpower their guards and try to get past Haldoran to destroy his cache of Dalek weapons, but Haldoran sees through them and recaptures them. At that moment Tomlin arrives and tries to kill him, and although Haldoran kills Tomlin, Donna takes advantage of the distraction and shoots Haldoran as well. Barlow returns, having successfully conquered London with his Dalek guns; Lord London’s men killed him when he refused to surrender. The Doctor, learning that all communication has been lost with the Master’s men at DA-17, manages to convince Barlow that something has gone wrong there, where Barlow leads a squad to the pit and learns what has happened.
