Maloney eventually gave up on finding his hat and went over to Chalmers, who was by then involved in a fight with Alexander on the verandah. Maloney intervened and was stabbed by Alexander with a table knife, along with Chalmers. Both Chalmers and Maloney, the latter with non life-threatening injuries, fled towards the Clarendon Hotel, where they were given medical assistance by the manager, before being taken to hospital. At the hospital, Chalmers made a deposition, in which he identified Alexander as the man who stabbed him.

Martin Baxter, Vicar of Kildallan, for the use of Ambrose and Mary his wife during their lives, and for the heirs of their bodies and right heirs of Ambrose Bedell for ever. Bishop Bedell in his will dated 15 February 1640 stated, inter alia,- . On 26 October 1642 the aforesaid Ambrose Bedell made a deposition about the Cavan rebels in the Irish Rebellion of 1641. After this Ambrose Bedell served in the Royal Army in Ireland as a Captain in the regiment of his wife's uncle Colonel Arthur Hill, until 1649.

Shortly after the Lambeth marriage a certificate of the Berkeley ceremony was produced, having been recovered, it was alleged, under very strange circumstances. The couple had had six sons up to the marriage of 1796, including William Berkeley. In 1799, after the Earl announced his earlier marriage/ceremony, William Berkeley (commonly styled Viscount Dursley, the normal courtesy title for the heir apparent to the earldom) obtained leave (permission) to prove his legitimacy before the Committee for Privileges of the House of Lords, and in 1801 the Earl made a deposition giving full details of the Berkeley marriage.

The plaintiffs sought an accounting and restitution of the Ustaše Treasury that, according to the US State Department,United States Department of State had allegedly been transferred illicitly to the Vatican, the Franciscan Order and other banks after the end of the war, in order to further the goals of the Ustaše regime in exile and fund the Vatican ratline. The principal movers were allegedly Fr. Krunoslav Draganovic, Fr. Dominik Mandic OFM, and the war criminal Ante Pavelić.

An Inquisition held at Cavan Town on 31 October 1627 found that George Greames was seized of one poll in Mullaowtra and he died 9 October 1624. By his will dated 1 May 1615 he left his lands to his son and heir William Greames then 30 years old (born 1594) and unmarried.
