Carla Lother is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and flautist from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Lother was born into a musical family. Her mother was a classical pianist, and her father was a cabaret and jazz singer. In her early years she studied classical piano, and won her first competition at the age of six.

In the Annales Ryenses and Saxo Grammaticus' Gesta Danorum (Book 1) Skjöld, that is Scyld, is preceded by a king named Lother, not one name Heremod. But what we are told of Lother fits closely with what the Beowulf poet says of Heremod. Saxo relates that King Dan left two sons behind, Humbli and Lother. Then: > Humbli was elected king at his father's death, thus winning a novel favour > from his country; but by the malice of ensuing fate he fell from a king into > a common man.

It looks as though Lother has been confused with Höðr. Lother might also be identical with the puzzling god Lóðurr. Commentators sometimes suggest Lóðurr is identical to Loki, and of course in the Icelandic texts that have come down to us it is Loki who is Baldr's real slayer, with Höðr/Hother being only a tool in Loki's plot.

A second album, 100 Lovers, followed in 2004. Four songs from this album are collaborations between Lother and guitarist Richie Stotts of the Plasmatics. Apart from her studio albums, Lother does session work, has recorded for CRI Recordings, and performed vocals on a Bang on a Can release. She sang in advertising for Dove Soap, MasterCard, Kit Kat, Kitchen Aid, and Maxwell House.

She directed musical theater for ASPIRA's Project Enhance which teams professional musicians with at risk students. Lother also maintains a private studio of piano students.

Waldrada's family origin is uncertain. After graduation, she continued to work at Mannes as Director of Continuing Education. Lother borrowed $2,000 from a friend for studio time and a producer in order to record her first album. She was introduced to David Chesky who in turn introduced her to producer Joel Goodman. From there, she signed to Chesky Records and her first album, Ephemera, was released in 1999.

Cozens began exploring music as a young child. He was playing the piano by ear when he was 3 years old and started music lessons at 11. Cozen's formal musical education included study in composition, arranging, orchestration, and film scoring at The Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with George Monseur. Additional composition studies were with Ted Pease, George Cordeiro, John Bavichii and Lother Klein at The University of Toronto.

Lother studied at University of Manitoba and the Banff School of Fine Arts at the University of Alberta. She eventually hitchhiked to New York City to attend the Mannes College of Music on a scholarship. Going to school in the United States also provided her with a visa. She received a Masters in piano performance and a professional studies diploma in voice, while working cleaning bathrooms and answering phones at the school.

Further orchestration study was with Phil Wilson, Mike Gibbs, Wes Hensel, and Lother Klein at The University of Toronto. Additional study included time at the New England Conservatory of Music auditing classes in composition, The University Of Toronto in composition and orchestration, and McMaster University in mathematics, chemistry, and music. The fierce competition between promyslovik led to the overexploitation of sable populations, continually forcing them to go further east. With the decline of European demand for sable furs at the end of the 17th century, so did its price; making many promyslovik partake in caravans headed to the Qing Empire, or selling their furs the border town of Kyakhta. Dartnell was born in the city of Linares in 1873, the son of Robert Dartnell Lother and of Carmen Encina Ibáñez. He studied engineering at the Universidad de Chile, specializing in military engineering. In 1885 he was accepted as an Officer Cadet to the Military Academy, where he studied until 1891. He was promoted to sub-lieutenant on January 15, 1891. During the 1891 Chilean Civil War, Dartnell served with the corps of military engineers, and joined the ranks of the Congressional Army.

Much of her formative years were spent travelling and participating in various festivals and workshops. She also sang in choirs, which Lother later credited as an influence in her style of writing harmony. At 15, her brother invited her to join his rock band, and she was exposed to the likes of Todd Rundgren, The Police, and Led Zeppelin. In 1978 she took home first prize at the Concours de Musique du Canada and the Canadian Outstanding Artist Award in 1987.

According to historian Baron Ernouf, Gunther was Waldrada's uncle and Thietgaud, Archbishop of Trier was her brother. The pope convened a synod in the Lateran in October, 863, at which the decision of the Synod of Metz was rejected, and Gunther and Thietgaud, who refused to submit, were excommunicated and deposed.

The first book is mostly Saxo's original work, sharing little with other primary works, but taking some inspiration from Ancient Greek epics. It very briefly covers the rule of the eponymous founder of the Danish nation, Dan, but also his sons Humble and Lother, and Dan's grandson, Skiod, whose son, Gram is the first Danish king to be given some detail, his reign revolves around conquering Sweden and Finland, only to die in battle. Most of the book deals with adventures of Hading, the son of Gram and Finnish princess, Signe. The adventure being that Denmark is lost to the Swedes, and Hading trying to reclaim it with the help of giants and Odin.
