Quinn eventually learns that a doctor named Dr. Scott plans to use the scorpion venom to revive dead tissues and sell for a profit. Quinn and Holly follow Dr. Scott back to Fort Preston, where Scott is killed by zombies attempting to extract a scorpion. After destroying the scorpion and killing all of the zombies, Holly and Quinn escape from the base and leave. Outside the base, Quinn and Holly lure zombies toward the armory, blowing it up using a stash of ammunition.

Sarah learns that the casino camera footage gets erased after 24 hours and asks to interview customers. Nicole tells her that she is on Indian land, which is not under state regulation, and orders her to leave. Outside the casino, Sarah calls a district attorney to obtain a warrant on the bank that owns the casino ATMs, so she can review their camera footage.

Outside, Linden looks inside the same Quran to find the name of a mosque is stamped inside. She calls Holder to tell him they need to check out the mosque. The next morning, in the campaign office, Councilman Darren Richmond (Billy Campbell) argues with Jamie Wright (Eric Ladin) about the campaign’s continued attachment to Bennet. Left alone, Gwen Eaton (Kristin Lehman) spies an empty envelope on Darren Richmond’s desk from a women’s correctional facility.

Elsa disregards the knight's warning and tries to take the Grail with her, causing the temple to collapse around them when she crosses the Great Seal set in the floor at the entrance. When the Grail falls into a chasm in the floor, Elsa plummets to her death trying to recover it, due to her being unable to let go of her obsession with it. Indy nearly suffers the same fate before Henry convinces him to leave it. The Joneses, Marcus, and Sallah escape the temple as the Grail Knight watches them leave, outside the temple Henry reveals to Indy that Elsa never really believed in the grail and they ride off into the sunset.
