The gallery displays a revolving selection of works from the collection in themed exhibitions. In 2016/17 the exhibitions held were: Exploring – Inspirational Places for North West Essex Artists, and three sequential temporary exhibitions: George Chapman – From Bardfield to the Rhondda; Michael Rothenstein – Sustained Invention; and Connections. Items from the collection have been leant to exhibitions elsewhere, including Eric Ravilious at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in 2015 and Ravilious and Co at the Towner Gallery in 2017. New acquisitions to the collection have been supported by the Art Fund and the V&A; Purchase Fund.

Through movement on all extent of a line between two capitals was opened personally by emperor Alexander II . The station building was rebuilt in stone in 1910 by architect Bruno Granholm as a four-storeyed building, which was designed in the rational branch of the “new style” of architecture at the beginning of the 20th century; an architectural style also known as a Romantic nationalism. The annexe leant to a high railway embankment, it looks extremely ascetical. The window openings are whimsically scattered on the exterior surface of the walls, and reflect the internal structure of the building.

Born at Southsea, Hampshire in November 1896 to Edith Marianne Fulljames and her husband Gilbert Fulljames, he was educated at Sutton Valence School, before attending Downing College, Cambridge. He served during World War I and leant to fly in 1916, before serving with the Royal Flying Corps in France in 1917 with the rank of second lieutenant. He was shot down three times during the course of the war, including once by the infamous German flying ace Baron von Richthofen. The Royal Flying Corps was merged into the Royal Air Force in April 1918, with Fulljames also transferring to the new service.

Keighley is a constituency in West Yorkshire created in 1885 represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2019 by Robbie Moore of the Conservative Party. Since 1959, the seat has been a bellwether (its winner affiliated to the winning party nationally), with two exceptions: in 1979 and 2017, the seat leant to the left, bucking the national result. Keighley is one of 11 seats won (held or gained) by a Conservative candidate in 2019 from a total of 22 covering its county. Moore's 2019 win was one of 47 net gains by the Conservative Party.
