Judge Cassandra Anderson is a fictional law enforcer and psychic appearing in the British science fiction comics 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine. Created by writer John Wagner and artist Brian Bolland, Anderson made her debut as a supporting character in the Judge Dredd story "Judge Death" (2000 AD #150, February 1980). The character's popularity with readers led to her starring in her own series, Anderson: Psi-Division, which (since 1988) has been written almost exclusively by Alan Grant, often working with artist Arthur Ranson until 2005; Boo Cook drew a majority of the stories until 2012, since which a number of different artists have worked on the strip. In 2012 the character appeared in the film Dredd, played by Olivia Thirlby.

Rocksavage is also mentoring a teenage informant, Kyle Smart (Shaun Mason), a car thief with a good ear for crimes taking place within the local community. When Stockwell is attacked and killed in a savage ambush on a routine call out to a domestic disturbance, Rocksavage's life is changed forever. He finds himself partnered with rookie WPC Amanda Morgan (Kerrie Hayes), whom he takes his anger and resentment out on, whilst coming head-to-head with the chief of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), DCI Craig Costello (Mark Womack), who is overseeing the investigation into Andy's death. After coming face to face with one of Stockwell's killers, Noel Finch (Stephen Graham), Rocksavage crosses the line from law enforcer to law breaker, and soon realises there is no way back.

Early in 2016 and while serving as Superintendent of the Philippine Navy Officers Candidate School, the entire nation was shocked when Marcelino together with his Chinese confidential informant was framed up and unlawfully arrested after they were allegedly caught in a clandestine drug laboratory and maliciously accused of manufacturing illegal drugs. He was vilified in the media as upright law enforcer turned rogue. However, people from all walks of life came out to defend him. Peasants, religious leaders, indigenous people, military, and people from the academe mobilized and organized the Free Marcelino Movement whose objective is to seek justice and freedom from the beleaguered Marine officer. The malicious accusation was, in fact, politically motivated and initiated by high ranking government officials whose toes Marcelino had stepped in the course of performing his duties as an “anti-drug crusader”.

Erik Kain of Forbes said that Rick started out as "the voice of reason, a calm presence, and an earnest leader" in the first two seasons, but had developed into an "anti-hero" by season three. Tom Ward of Esquire noted that Rick was almost a completely different man by the end of the fifth season: "He may resemble the clean-cut law enforcer from the first season, but inside, 'stuff' and 'things' have changed the man with the highest zombie kill count in history...Has Rick become the show's villain? After Rick and his group slaughtered the members of Terminus, Andrew Lincoln voiced that "[i]n Seasons 1, 2, and 3, and half of 4, Rick was a man either restraining or denying a brutal part of his personality, in order that his children grow up and, hopefully, have a father that was morally sound. A father who could give a good value system to his children.

In 2009, Marcelino was chosen as the Most Outstanding Law Enforcer of the Year by the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) and was awarded as PDEA’s Most Outstanding National Staff Officer for his Exemplary Achievement to the Agency and to the People. He was given the Distinguished Public Servant Award by Rotary Club of Makati Urdaneta RD 3830 and was given a significant commendation by the Makati Business Club and other government and non-government institutions. He was also selected by the US Department of State to represent the Philippines in the International Visitor Leadership Program on US Foreign Policy and Counterterrorism in Washington DC and different states in the continental USA.

" Indiewire said, "As Dredd, Urban either has a better character to play than [Sylvester Stallone] did, or simply has a better grasp on what makes him tick, but the actor continues to distinguish himself as a versatile performer who turns mimicry into emotional meaning." Empires Chris Hewitt scored the film three out of five stars, and said it gets the lead character "absolutely, incontrovertibly right" and that Urban's Dredd is "a deadpan delight—he doesn't grow as a person and he doesn't crack wise ... the movie generates its few laughs from his sheer intractability". Hewitt also called Thirlby's Anderson engaging and wrote that the film is "a solid, occasionally excellent take on [Judge Dredd], with Urban's chin particularly impressive." Varietys Geoff Berkshire said the film is "Grim, gritty and ultra-violent", called Dredd a "badass of few words", and wrote that Urban "does a fine job embodying the more mythic qualities of Dredd as an upright law enforcer no lowlife would want to confront.
