By rescuing Kajal in a fake kidnapping drama enacted by Vishambar's goons, he wins Suryadev's confidence. Suryadev then decides to send Kajal to his village to stay with some relatives for a while, along with Karan as her bodyguard, convinced that he will protect her. Kajal falls in love with Karan, but he does not reciprocate. He tries to kill her on many occasions, but hesitates for some reason.

Karan is arrested and tortured, but he does not reveal who hired him to kill Kajal, for fear that his mother would be affected. Karan learns about Kajal's wedding plans and leaves enraged, to rescue his mother.

So Yogi tries to break it off with Kajal, but he cannot bear to stand by this decision. When Yogi tells Pooja that he is in love with Kajal, Pooja tries to commit suicide. A distraught Ajay goes to Kajal and begs her to save his daughter by breaking up with Yogi. She responds by telling him that she can't give up her life to save his daughter's life.

She consults a specialist doctor who assists her in treating Neeraj. Gradually, Kajal becomes suspicious that someone in the family doesn't want Neeraj to get cured, but she isn't sure who the person is since everyone seems to love Neeraj a lot. Neeraj's doctor advises Kajal to take Neeraj to a medical camp which could help cure him. Kajal and Neeraj go, although Neeraj's father opposes the idea.

His assistants warn the owner of the bungalow that it is haunted. The story shifts to Chennai where Kajal (Shanaya) who hosts a party for reuniting with her school friends. Then she reveals about her classmate Kumar (Santhanam) who was sent out of school because of Kajal. Firdos Bai demanded Kajal to give Mahnoor for prostitution and singing at her business place to compensate the loss she had due to Kajal and Wafa's leaving barn. After frequent reminders from her mother, Kajal tries to make amends. When nothing works, Kajal shocks her husband when she slaps Jahnvi and accuses her of stealing her husband and tries to make Jahnvi leave. Kajal offers Jahnvi all her money back in exchange for Raj again, only to be told by Raj that she is the poorest relation despite having all the riches she ever dreamed of. On the advice of her friend, Kajal seeks legal advice which also states that the only way she can legally marry Raj if he and Jahnvi divorce – an impossible task.

Narayan gets to know the whole thing and takes him to a friend's house for entertaining Raja, where the friend's (Mahendra Babu) daughter marriage, Raja meets all the family members of Mahendra Babu. But his surprise does not remain when he sees that the girl who has come to the wedding is none other girl he is Kajal, whom he loves. After that the Raja stops at Kajal home, and helps in the preparation of his wedding, then slowly Kajal gets so impressed by the goodness of Raja that she starts loving the Raja, and the day after Kajal expresses her love to the Raja, her wedding procession will come only two days later. This is the story of what the Raja and Kajal decide between love and rituals.

Kajal is kidnapped, but Karan rescues her and kills Dilavar. Suryadev arrives at the village on hearing Kajal and Karan' disappearance, and learns of Karan's original motive from a note written by Karan meant for Kajal to read, before he falls for her, left in his room, which she never read. He finds his granddaughter with Karan, but she does not let him harm the latter, and both elope again. They are finally apprehended.

The next day, Kumar's father (Anandaraj) standing in front of the police station calls Kajal's father and threatens him to withdraw the case filed on Kumar. Later, Kajal gets Kumar's home address and she realizes about Kumar who broke into her house earlier. Simultaneously, Kumar and Mohan plan to kidnap Kajal to teach her a lesson. So, they kidnap her and Kajal reveals herself to Kumar with a kiss and they both fall in love.

One day after being rescued by Karan from goons Raju (who is unconscious) is taken to his house and where Kajal apologizes to Karan for her deeds with him which is overheard by Raju.

Pooja feels betrayed and confronts her father. Her father informs Pooja that Kajal is her younger sister. Kajal again decides to go to America, this time, to get out of the way of Ajay's relationship with Pooja. This time, Pooja stops her and embraces her little sister.

According to her, Arav's destiny is to be with Kajal. Arav finds Kajal in the place where they used to play when they were kids and tells her that he loved her the whole time. He just didn't realise it. They kiss and get back together.

When Kajal realizes that Pooja is her elder sister, she decides to sacrifice her love to save her sister's life by moving to America. This decision leaves Yogi heartbroken, which puts Kajal in a miserable state. Unable to see his granddaughter in pain, Madhav goes to Ajay and informs him that Kajal is his daughter and that he is sacrificing one daughter for another.

Saudagar Singh (Amjad Khan) is actually the one on whose behalf those goons were after the diamonds. His plans having been thwarted as described above, Saudagar Singh and his partner Baljit Kumar Dana set a trap for Rajesh telling a false story to him about Kishorilal having kidnapped Saudagar Singh's son, Ramesh. Taken in by their story, Rajesh hatches a plot to spirit away Kishorilal's daughter, Kajal (Kajal Kiran), by pretending to be in love with her, and, once he has her in her clutches, to thereby extorting the diamonds back from Kishorilal. The whole plot is speedy after that, with Rajesh pretending as Manjeet Kumar Dana is to fall in love with Kajal (Kajal Kiran), who is in love with her childhood love, Sanjay.

A sequel to the 1996 film Indian, the film is being produced by Subaskaran Allirajah‘s Lyca Productions. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Nedumudi Venu reprising their roles from the first film, while new cast consists of Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Rakul Preet Singh and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The film features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, collaborating for the first time with Kamal Haasan and Shankar.

Nayanthara was considered for the leading female role, before Kajal Aggarwal was finalised. For her role, the actress learnt the basics of the Indian martial arts form Kalaripayattu. Principal photography began on 6 February 2014 in Hyderabad and continued for 3 days there before a long pre-planned schedule started in Rameswaram, Nagercoil and Pollachi. Kajal joined the sets of the film in Hyderabad on 9 February 2014 and some scenes between herself and Charan were shot there. They also participated in the film's shoot at Nagercoil near Kanyakumari in mid February 2014 after the completion of the schedule at Rameswaram. Upon its completion, the next schedule commenced in Kerala in February 2016 and few portions were filmed at the Athirappilly Falls. In Kolkata, prisoner Kathi Seenu (Chiranjeevi), a petty criminal, helps the police capture an escaping prisoner, but he himself escapes afterwards. He goes to Hyderabad and decides to escape to Bangkok. However, he drops this plan after meeting and falling in love with Subbalakshmi (Kajal Aggarwal), his childhood friend at the airport, who dupes him into believing that she gave him her phone number realizing that he has a crush on her. Mumbai Saga is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action crime film directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by T-Series .It is a gangster drama and stars an ensemble cast of John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy, Amole Gupte, Samir Soni, Gulshan Grover and Mahesh Manjrekar. Set in the 1980s and 1990s, the story shows changing faces of Mumbai people by closing mills to make malls and high rise buildings. Principal shoot commenced on 27 August 2019 and the film was originally scheduled for release in June 2020.

Ram Charan was signed as the protagonist in the film in October 2011. Narnaund's Station House Officer (SHO) Vinod Kumar Kajal was close to a prominent Jat of Mirchpur. On 21 April 2010 all Dalit men were invited for a compromise to another place. In their absence, 300 to 400 Jat men, women came with jerry cans of kerosene and petrol, agricultural implements and lathis first ransacking jewels, cash, clothes in the houses and than setting the homes ablaze with dalit women and kids inside. This led to Death by burning of 70-year-old Tara Chand and his 18-year-old physically challenged daughter Suman in fire. The PTC has organised several World Poets' Tours. The first, in 2005, introduced Partaw Naderi (Afghanistan), Gagan Gill (India), Toeti Heraty (Indonesia), Coral Bracho (Mexico), Maxamed Xaashi Dhamac 'Gaariye' (Somaliland) and Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi (Sudan) to UK audiences. In 2008, Corsino Fortes (Cape Verde), Maxamed Xaashi Dhamac 'Gaariye', Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi and Farzaneh Khojandi (Tajikistan) took part in the Centre's second World Poets' Tour, which also featured the poetry of Kajal Ahmad (Kurdistan) and Noshi Gillani (Pakistan), who were unable to travel to the UK. In 2017 its collections, The Sea-Migrations: Tahriib by Asha Lul Mohamud Yusuf was named by the Sunday Times as the best poetry book of the year. It was translated from Somali by Clare Pollard with Maxamed Xasan ‘Alto’ and Said Jama Hussein, and is published by Bloodaxe Books.

The creators of the program, Priya Pandya and Kajal Desai both grew up in the United States to Indian immigrant parents. They started Doonya in Washington, DC as a way to bring a bi-cultural approach to the dance and fitness worlds and began teaching the program in the Virginia, Maryland and DC area. In 2009, when Doonya was invited to perform on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Priya launched Doonya in New York City and the company developed its signature workout program, a 55 minute high-intensity cardio and conditioning class. In 2013, Doonya released its at-home workout series, while in 2014, Doonya served as Global Fitness Ambassadors for Reebok International, created a fitness series for Weight Watchers as well as a 14 episode TV series for Zee Television North America called Doonya: The Bollywood Workout.

The Vishukkani setting consists of items such as rice, golden lemon, golden cucumber, coconut cut open, jack fruit, kanmashi Kajal, betel leaves, arecanut, metal mirror (Vaalkannadi), golden yellow Konna flowers (Cassia fistula) which bloom in the season of Vishu, holy Hindu texts, coins or currency notes, oil lamp (nilavilakku), and an image of the Hindu god Vishnu. Mirror in Vishukani is a symbol of seeing yourself as a part of abundance you see in the form of Kani. The tradition has been that one of the members of the house, typically the mom or elderly person lights up the lamps at dawn, then goes to each member of her family one by one, blindfolds and wakes each one up, walks them to the front of the setting. She then releases the blindfold so one can see the setting, and then greets the Vishu day.

She did more modelling and went to appear in television ads and as a result of her work in a Tata Gold Tanishq advertisement, she was auditioned and selected by noted Telugu director Sekhar Kammula to act in his production, Avakai Biryani (2008), while she also landed a supporting role in Cheran's Tamil romantic drama film Pokkisham (2009). Her other release of 2009 was Bumper Offer, opposite Sairam Shankar, which was produced by noted director Puri Jagannadh. In 2010, Bindu's first release was Om Shanti, which saw her work in an ensemble cast also featuring Kajal Aggarwal and Madhavan. She then worked with producer Dil Raju for Rama Rama Krishna Krishna (2010) alongside Ram and Arjun, where she portrayed a village-based girl. She was later signed by director Gautham Menon for his production Veppam (2011) that was directed by his associate Anjana Ali Khan, and featured her in the role of a sex worker.

IANS gave the film 3 out of 5 stars and stated that Paayum Puli "sadly reduces itself to a police drama that fizzles out even before it starts to get impressive". IndiaGlitz gave the film 2.5 out of 5 stars as well and stated, "Suseenthiran has chosen an emotional action story about brothers on both sides of the law pitted against one another which could have had the audiences at the edge of their seats, but his own screenplay is contrived and lacks the grip that his other movies are famous for" and concluded that Paayum Puli is "worth watching for Vishal's action and Samuthirakani's acting". Sify called Paayum Puli a "predictable concoction of a cop story mixed with brother sentiments and the usual commercial trappings of Tamil cinema" and opined that the romance between the lead pair "sticks out like a sore thumb". Latha Srinivasan, writing for Daily News and Analysis, rated the film 2.5 out of 5 and criticised the film's script and the romance between Vishal and Kajal in the film, calling it "extremely insipid and badly written".
