Eleader Juggins (15 June 1882 – 17 August 1966), sometimes known as Ted Juggins or Eli Juggins, was an English professional football goalkeeper who played in the Football League for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

She had a running story line in Doctors in 2010 as Sissy Juggins, who along with her brother Ivor Juggins kidnapped Dr. Jimmi Clay, and was nominated for a Soap Award. She has also appeared in one episode of EastEnders as Minty's blind date and two episodes of Coronation Street as Miriam. She toured Calendar Girls from August to December 2011.

Lucille Bliss provided the voice of Crusader Rabbit in the original series; she was replaced by Ge Ge Pearson in the revived series. Vern Louden played Rags in both. Dudley Nightshade was voiced by Russ Coughlan, and narration was by Roy Whaley.

The play was first produced in April, 1911, having been hurriedly rehearsed because the previous production, of Ibsen's The Master Builder, had ended early. Shaw was convinced that creating a mystery about the authorship of the play would be ideal publicity. Because of the similarity of the character of Juggins to Crichton in J.M. Barrie's play The Admirable Crichton, Shaw hoped the public might be deceived. "Let people think the play is by Barrie" he said.

H. K. Ayliff was an English theatre director who directed Shakespeare in contemporary dress as early as the 1920s, as well as Yellow Sands on Broadway. H.K. Ayliff was one of a triumvirate of celebrated British theatre directors during the years between the two world wars, the others being Tyrone Guthrie and Basil Dean. Henry Kiell Ayliff was born 1871 in Grahamstown, South Africa, grandson of English settlers of 1820. He moved to England as a young man to study painting at the Royal Academy Schools and in Paris. In 1901 he gave up painting and studied acting under Herman Vezin, playing several parts in London and the provinces, including Juggins in Bernard Shaw’s Fanny's First Play at The Royal Court in Sloane Square.

His daughter, Patricia Canaveris Denis, born on March 17, 1811 (Saint Patrick's Day) received a state pension for the services rendered by his father to the National State. It is not clear if the legitimate father's last name was Canaveris or "Jugluns", a surname possibly of French or Irish origin (Juggins or Jungius), and completely unknown in the Piedmont region. His father came from an important family established in various regions of the Kingdom of Sardinia, probably related to the Spanish society of the time. The idiosyncrasy of his father and his descendants was not at all like the French or Italian community of the colonial and post-colonial period of Buenos Aires, and it is quite possible that their paternal ancestors were of noble or bourgeois origin.
