These advantages offset the high stress, physical exertion costs, and other risks of the migration such as predation. Many birds migrate in flocks. For larger birds, it is assumed that flying in flocks reduces energy costs. The V formation is often supposed to boost the efficiency and range of flying birds, particularly over long migratory routes.
It is assumed that, except for the Little Dancer Aged Fourteen, all Degas bronzes worldwide are cast from ' (i.e., cast from bronze masters). It is assumed that the solution will deliver and no critical analysis is made of the past performance or its cost effectiveness. A person challenging this solution is ridiculed. In Kenya, obviously, irrigation has this status. Irrigation is postulated as the solution for food problems and drought without analysing the extremely poor performance of this sector.
PDF fulltext The toxicity appears to be due to thiaminase, which can cause thiamin (vitamin B1) deficiency. Equisetum species may have been a common food for herbivorous dinosaurs. The recovery of this core was accompanied by a strong rising of gas bubbles to the sea surface. It is assumed that hydrate formed internally after deposition of the asphalt.Bohrman and Spiess 2006.
New logs are usually colonized by wandering males. The pheromones emitted by the first male to reach a log attract additional males, as well as females. It is assumed that males are attracted by other males because their high density increases the attraction of females. During reproduction, the male places its spermatophore on the female's skin.
It is assumed to have been a triangular stockade, based on the fort at Jamestown. It is assumed that rock exists in layers according to age, with older beds below later ones. This is the basis of stratigraphy. The ages of more recent layers are calculated primarily by the study of fossils, which are remains of ancient life preserved in the rock. These occur consistently and so a theory is feasible.
It is assumed that they are also by him. His vases occasionally bear the kalos inscriptionn Epilykos. In this case, two remote strings \sigma_A and \sigma_B need to be reconciled. Typically, it is assumed that these strings differ by up to a fixed number of edits (i.e. character insertions, deletions, or modifications). Then data synchronization is the process of reducing edit distance between \sigma_A and \sigma_B, up to the ideal distance of zero.
These types of problems with multiple machines are known to be computationally very difficult. The processing time of each job on each machine is given (see chart on right for an example). Job j being performed on machine i is denoted ij. It is assumed that each machine can only work on one job at a time.

It is assumed that V. rectangulata spent most or all of its time swimming in the water column. Sediment found within the gut suggest that it was a deposit-feeder, possibly swimming to and from favorable feeding sites. At least one specimen has an individual of the putative entoproct, Cotyledion tyloides attached to the terminal segment of the tail.
They have a green semi-translucent color with yellow translucent hands. Their skin has dots which matches that of the leaves in the area. When confronted or approached, they tend to freeze up and not move. It is not specifically known what the glass frog eats, but it is assumed that they feed on small insects.
The facings were often glazed in different colors and may have had astrological significance. Kings sometimes had their names engraved on these glazed bricks. The number of tiers ranged from two to seven. It is assumed that they had shrines at the top, but there is no archaeological evidence for this and the only textual evidence is from Herodotus.
Then it squeezes the back of its body together and spits two silk threads, in 1/600 sec, in a zigzag manner over the victim. The prey is immediately immobilized. When the prey is larger the spider spits several times. It is assumed the spider uses special long hearing hairs located at its legs to locate its prey.
Dryophytes arboricola, commonly known as the arboreal treefrog, is a species of frog in the family Hylidae endemic to the Sierra Madre del Sur in Guerrero state, Mexico. Her whereabouts are unknown, but it is assumed she is still having adventures somewhere.
Non-coherent space time codes are a way of transmitting data in wireless communications. In this multiple antenna scheme, it is assumed that the receiver only has knowledge of the statistics of channel. Non-coherent space- time transmission schemes were proposed by Tom Marzetta and Bertrand Hochwald in 1999, but these schemes are complex in terms of implementation.
Gaius Valerius Flaccus at theodora.com. The poem's text, as it has survived, is in a very corrupt state; it ends so abruptly with the request of Medea to accompany Jason on his homeward voyage, that it is assumed by most modern scholarsJ.H.Mozley, in Loeb Classical Library, A.J. Kleywegt (2005) and others. that it was never finished.
Early proposals for the mechanism of tryptophan oxidation were presented by Sono and Dawson. This suggested a base- catalysed abstraction mechanism, involving only the ferrous (FeII) heme. It is assumed that TDO and IDO react by the same mechanism, although there is no concrete evidence for that. In IDO, a ferryl heme (FeIV) has been identified during turnover.
He died only minutes after arriving at the prison infirmary. It took more than a week for an autopsy to be performed. After the autopsy, his body was returned to his family. It is assumed by brand historians that the pizza box was invented by Domino's Pizza, even if they did not file a patent application.
Crotaphatrema lamottei is found in secondary forest, forest edge, and farmland, but never further than away from forest. It occurs at about above sea level. It is assumed to be oviparous and not to depend on water bodies for reproduction. Crotaphatrema lamottei has a low population density and restricted distribution, although its exact range remains poorly mapped.
It is assumed the color episodes exist intact. The very first color episode of the show, which aired in September 1965, was taped on-location at the Escondido resort near San Diego, in which Welk had a financial and ownership interest. It is occasionally shown on PBS stations; the PBS rebroadcast is introduced by Bobby Burgess.

However, when colonies engage in polygyny, having more than one queen, the rates of polyandry drop. It is assumed that colonies utilize either polyandry or polygyny, to increase the genetic diversity of the colony. Therefore, two different strategies can be employed. One strategy is that a female mates with many males and then disperses to start a new colony.
There are no specific bioavailability studies that were made available on this dietary mineral. It is assumed that the reported solubility of zinc aspartate in diluted hydrochloric acid will allow its dissociation and absorption in the stomach. However, it was not clear if further absorption could take place in the intestine considering its reported insolubility in water.
She seems to favor using Air-type Magic, as most of her magical circles appear green in color. Miu's AD weapon takes the form of a staff with an elaborate head, called Holy Tin. So far she has only been shown using it as a blocking weapon. It is assumed this staff can enhance Miu's magic as well.
Obviously, the social planning problem gives us the highest possible utility level for the consumer. It is assumed, in particular, that information is costless and readily available to the social planner. The benevolent social planner solves: max u(c,R) s.t. c = f(l) l + R = T We can observe the absence of the planning problem.
It is assumed that the stereochemistry results from the activity of the domains and the absolute configuration is specified by the overall PKS complex. After being released from the thioesterase domain as a long fatty acid chain, the characteristic α,β-unsaturated lactone moiety is formed through a lactonization step to result in the final structure.
The locality is named after Pelican Station, a pastoral run operated by James Ivory in the early 1850s. It is assumed that pelicans were seen at times on nearby Pelican Lagoon. Kokartus is an extinct genus of prehistoric salamander from the Middle Jurassic Balabansai Svita of Kyrgyzstan. The absence of clear lines of arrested growth and annuli in long bones suggests that the animals lived in an environment with stable local conditions. Due to the morphological features of the bones, it is assumed that the living animal was neotenic.
It is assumed by some Egyptologists that Amenemhat either usurped the throne or assumed power after Mentuhotep IV died childless. There is currently no archaeological or textual evidence to prove that Mentuhotep was deposed by his vizier or that he chose Amenemhat to be his designated successor. Neither his mummy nor his burial place have been found.
Specimens are far less intact; usually only skull caps are recovered, and those found regularly exhibit surface exfoliation and other signs that they were transported long distances by water before fossilization. It is assumed that they lived in the mountains in a temperate climate and were carried by erosion after death to their final resting place.
They do not appear to necessarily be linked directly with Al-Qaeda, but since they are located in the same proximity and share enemies, it is assumed that they have communicated in some way. They announced their formation on 1 August 2012, demanding that Islamic law be established in Egypt and US Peacekeeping forces be removed from the area.

Based on its parallax, it is assumed to be relatively nearby, at 72.5 light-years (22.24 parsecs). Its two components are designated Iota Virginis A (officially named Syrma , the traditional name for the system) and B.
The exact biosynthesis of β-araneosene is not known, however like other diterpenes, it is assumed to originate with geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate. The pyrophosphate dissociates to generate an allylic cation at the tail of the molecule. Next a cascade of cyclizations yields the stable β-araneosene-15-yl cation. Finally, elimination of the adjacent proton yields β–araneosene.
Most documents about him vanished at the Lőcse fire in 1550. So, neither his surname, nor dates or places of birth and death are known. It is assumed that he was born between 1470 and 1480. He must have died between 1537 (when he is still mentioned on record) and 1542 (when his widow is mentioned).
It is assumed by academics that, if a trust suffered a loss as a result of a trustee investing in unsuitable areas, the trustee would be liable for breach of trust.Hudson (2009) p.400 Under Section 5, trustees are required to obtain "proper advice" before investing, unless the circumstances mean that it is inappropriate or unnecessary to do so.

Characteristic is also the spread of the decoration technique with fake strings. It is assumed that the buildings of this culture were made in wood, straw and clay.
Phantom limbs activate sensory maps according to scientists. Because there is no actual connection between the amputee limb and the rest of the body, it is assumed that when the limb was detached from the rest of the body the sensory maps which were created before the amputation, are still active and are being activated without an actual stimulus.
The 2003 season of the Bhutanese A-Division was the ninth recorded season of top-flight football in Bhutan. 10 teams competed, and the championship was won by Druk Pol, their second title in a row and seventh in the last eight seasons. Crocodiles have very good night vision, and are mostly nocturnal hunters. They use the disadvantage of most prey animals' poor nocturnal vision to their advantage. The light receptors in crocodilians' eyes include cones and numerous rods, so it is assumed all crocodilians can see colours. Crocodiles have vertical-slit shaped pupils, similar to those of domestic cats.
Primate vocalizations are mainly determined by music-like features (such as pitch, amplitude-and frequency-modulations, timbre and rhythm), and it is assumed that human musical abilities played a key phylogenetical part in the evolution of language. Likewise, it is assumed that, ontogenetically, infants’ first steps into language are based on prosodic information, and that musical communication in early childhood (such as maternal music) has a major role for emotional, cognitive and social development of children. The music faculty is in some respects unique to the human species; only humans compose music, learn to play musical instruments and play instruments cooperatively together in groups. Playing a musical instrument in a group is a tremendously demanding task for the human brain that potentially engages all cognitive processes that we are aware of.
Accessed December 13, 2010. It is assumed to have been written in 1803, but was not published until 1863 in the companion volume to Alexander Gilchrist's biography of Blake. Currently, papers continue to be given either in English or French; it is assumed that audience members can understand both languages. In the 1970s and early 1980s speakers were often practitioners from industry and government. Papers were not usually submitted in advance; proceedings were published and distributed after the conference. Through the 1980s, as the membership became more academic, the conference also evolved.

Saurashtra was again invaded by the Tajjikas (Arabs) in 776 CE (AH 159).
From the descriptions in the novel it is assumed that they are protostars nearing their inevitable collapse. The constant phase shift of light on K-PAX and the lack of light made it necessary to evolve the ability to detect shorter wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation, i.e., ultraviolet. This explains prot's need to wear his sunglasses in all but very dim conditions.
Furthermore, the species discovery curve is also decelerating; the more samples taken, the fewer unseen species are expected to be discovered. The species discovery curve will also never asymptote, as it is assumed that although the discovery rate might become infinitely slow, it will never actually stop. Two common models for a species discovery curve are the logarithmic and the exponential function.
John Roysse was probably connected with the Roysse family of East Hagbourne but there are few records appertaining to his early life. It is assumed that he attended the abbey school in the grounds of the former Abingdon Abbey. His profession was a dealer in fine cloth, in addition to being a moneylender. He was also a member of the Mercers’ Company.
Motion sensors are often used in indoor spaces to control electric lighting. If no motion is detected, it is assumed that the space is empty, and thus does not need to be lit. Turning off the lights in such circumstances can save substantial amounts of energy. In lighting practice occupancy sensors are sometime also called "presence sensors" or "vacancy sensors".
Hox's research interests lie in the field of quality assurance of survey research and multilevel analysis of hierarchically structured data. In multi- level analysis it is assumed that the data to be investigated has hierarchical or layered structure. Special modeling techniques have been developed to map this kind of data. These techniques can often significantly improve the quality of the obtained survey data.
The flood filled the Willamette Valley to a depth of about , in a near-perfect overlay of the camas pocket gopher's range. Although the species has been collected above this elevation, such finds are uncommon. A temporary lake, Lake Allison, formed. Although it is assumed that the gopher lived in the valley before the flood, no fossils have been recovered.
Though witches have no leader, Tiffany joined an informal "coven" of peer witches she gathers together for sabbats, of which Annagramma Hawkin acted as the self- appointed "boss" due to her having the tallest hat and the loudest voice. This coven was based in the Ramtops region and, it is assumed, no longer continued once the trainee witches received their own steadings.
Greene et al.'s model is usually placed within this category. In contrast, in a parallel model, it is assumed that both processes are simultaneously engaged from the beginning. Models of the former category lend support to the view that humans, in an effort to minimise cognitive effort, will choose to refrain from the more demanding deliberative system where possible.
Their next album, also titled Shangri-La but written in katakana (シャングリラ) this time, followed on October 8, 2008. There have been no recent news or updates about the group since 2009 and their website no longer exists. There has also been no mention of BeForU on members' blogs. It is assumed that BeForU was disbanded shortly after the release of シャングリラ.
It is assumed that less than 100 of his cards exist in this set. The 1909 T-206 Honus Wagner card has sold for as much as $2.8 million. Sets of cards are issued with each season for major professional sports. Since companies typically must pay players for the right to use their images, the vast majority of sports cards feature professional athletes.
The number of "yes"-answers in the control group is called the baseline. It is assumed that the second group would have given the same number, were it not for the critical question. Thus, their additional "yes"-answers (50 in the example) are due to the critical question. Their percentage is used to estimate the percentage of cheaters in the population.
The gate comprises two towers and a gothic arch. The northern tower had been reconstructed together with the arch in the middle of the 20th century. It is assumed that at the top of the two of the towers, a slender upright spires at the top of their buttress existed. The gate was equipped with a machicolation above the arch.
It is assumed that he became organist of the Chartres Cathedral on 6 December 1667. The date is questionable, but the fact that Jullien was appointed organist of the cathedral while still very young is indisputable. He occupied this position until his death in Chartres in 1703. He was succeeded at the cathedral by his eldest son, Jean-François Jullien.
It is assumed that village is older than with estimated origin in 13. century. First known name of the village was Kemence and from 1416 it is called in official records Nagy Kemence. Mansion located in the village was built by Csáky family. Later it was owned by Andrássy family and Gejza Andrassy was the last count that lived in the mansion.
It is not known when the first inhabitants settled here. It is assumed that the Plateau of Margraten, at the edge of which Sibbe is situated, was gradually deforested and settled after the year 1000.P.J.H. Ubachs, Handboek voor de geschiedenis van Limburg. Hilversum, 2000, page 24-26, 114 The village was first mentioned ('Cybde') in a document in 1307.
This building is named loft indicating a storage house, yet it is assumed it has always been a main house. Hovistabburet (storage house) is from Hovi farm in Øystre Slidre, most likely built in the 13th century. The building was bought in 1944 and moved to its current location. At the top floor there is an unusual room named the virgin room.
It is said that she was Christian temporarily. Megohime once had a shrine in the precincts of Aoba Shrine, but has since been moved to the main shrine. The excavation research on Zuihōden in 1974 showed that her husband, Masamune had blood type B and her son, Tadamune, A-type blood, and therefore it is assumed that Megohime had A- or AB-type blood.
Among the Khmer classical instruments, the takhe is probably the most recently introduced; it is assumed to be adopted from Thai music. It is used for wedding music, A-yai, and Chapei music as well as modern music. The name chakhe is derived from chorakhe (), meaning "crocodile". The word krapeu means "alligator" or "crocodile" in the Khmer language, as well.
Consequently, it is assumed that there are no anthropic clouds of these two genera. However, what can occur is enhancing existing Nimbostratus or Altostratus due to the additional water vapor or condensation nuclei emitted by a thermal power plant, for instance. The only anthropic clouds existing in the middle region of the troposphere are Altocumulus homogenitus (Aca) from contrails at this region.
The tamarillo prefers subtropical climate, with rainfall between 600 and 4000 millimeters and annual temperatures between 15 and 20 °C. It is intolerant to frost (below -2 °C) and drought stress. It is assumed that fruit set is affected by night temperatures. Areas where citrus are cultivated provide good conditions for tamarillos as well, such as in the Mediterranean climate.
A world manifold is a four-dimensional orientable real smooth manifold. It is assumed to be a Hausdorff and second countable topological space. Consequently, it is a locally compact space which is a union of a countable number of compact subsets, a separable space, a paracompact and completely regular space. Being paracompact, a world manifold admits a partition of unity by smooth functions.
She eventually finds out and calls it off, before trying to get back with Will, who has moved on to Dr Asher. It is unknown if she still likes Will or if he has any feelings left for her, but it is assumed that she has feelings for Dr Marcel after they were in a hostage situation in the Season 5 finale.
Leiotrametes lactinea has a pantropical distribution, and has been found in the Eastern USA, where it is assumed to be a recent colonization. Leiotrametes menziesii is found in the paleotropics and in the neotropics. It was reported from Mexico in 2012. A third Leiotrametes species has been collected from French Guiana, but has not yet been formally described as a new species.
These are individuals who have been infected and are capable of infecting susceptible individuals. :R for the number of removed (and immune) or deceased individuals. These are individuals who have been infected and have either recovered from the disease and entered the removed compartment, or died. It is assumed that the number of deaths is negligible with respect to the total population.
There are a few choreographer groups that have stood out in the history of ParaPara. is a long-running group of choreographers that has had many members. It is unclear when the group first began, but it is assumed to be in the early 1990s. The team had the most impact in Twinstar where they choreographed most of the ParaPara routines.
In AD 268–269, at Naissus, Claudius II (Gothicus Maximus) obtained a decisive victory over the Goths. Since at that time Romans were still occupying Roman Dacia it is assumed that the Goths didn't cross the Danube from the Roman province. The Goths who survived their defeat didn't even attempt to escape through Dacia, but through Thrace.Battle of Naissus and Cladius Gothicus.
Even when nodes in the network are not fully independent (e.g., employees), it is assumed that incentives are important and that those incentives go beyond direct financial compensation. While it would be very desirable to translate all forms of business value to a single economic measure (e.g., discounted cash flow), many practitioners and theorists believe this is either not feasible or theoretically impossible.
In his will dated April 3, 1667, William Bassett mentioned his unnamed wife, his son Joseph, and his son William's son William. He died sometime between the date of his will and the date his will was sworn, June 5, 1667. It is assumed he died sometime shortly after the will was written. His wife Mary swore to his inventory.
95 He pushed Curio to take advantage of a break in the enemy lines to achieve victory at the Battle of Utica,Holmes, III, pg. 103 and after the latter's defeat and death, he was one of the few who escaped from Africa Province.Holmes III, pg. 107 In the following year (48 BC), it is assumed that he was made Praetor.
This involves injecting a dye into the breast lump and seeing which node it first spread to (the sentinel node). This node is then removed and examined. If there is no cancer present, it is assumed the cancer has not spread to the other lymph nodes. This procedure is often less invasive and less damaging than the axillary lymph node dissection.
It is assumed that the normal activity of these speciation genes is to "inhibit" the expression of the genes that allow the growth of the hybrid. There will also be regulator genes. A number of these genes have been found in the melanogaster species group. The first to be discovered was "Lhr" (Lethal hybrid rescue) located in Chromosome II of D. simulans.
It is assumed that the protoplasmodium phagocytises either the algae or the bacteria on their surface. Other Myxogastria species are often found together with Barbeyella, especially Lepidoderma tigrinum, Lamproderma columbinum and Colloderma oculatum. Aphanocladium album is a myxomyceticolous fungus (i.e., living on or within the fruit bodies of myxomycetes) that has been reported growing on specimens of B. minutissima collected from North Carolina.
EA5 patients have a cysteine to phenylalanine mutation at position 104. Thus results in channels with 30% greater current than wild-type. As this subunit is expressed in the cerebellum, it is assumed that such increased current results in neuronal hyperexcitability Coding and noncoding variation of the human calcium-channel beta4-subunit gene CACNB4 in patients with idiopathic generalized epilepsy and episodic ataxia.
Shortly after the trio suspected of Hackney's murder were all released, police announced that they had arrested a 48-year-old black man named Richard Finley, who lived close to the Hackney home. He was placed under a charge "held pending investigation", but since no records of any other news exist about him, it is assumed he was released for lack of evidence.
The Do 17P-2 was identical to the P-1, with the additional installation of an ETC 500 bomb rack under the fuselage. These aircraft were designed for night reconnaissance. It is assumed that Dornier converted most, if not all, P-2 models from existing P-1 production aircraft. Unlike the P-2, the Do 17R-1 did not see series production.
Tigalari and Malayalam are both descended from Grantha script, and resemble each other both in their individual letters and in using consonant conjuncts less than other Indic scripts. It is assumed that a single script around 9th-10th century called Western Grantha, evolved from Grantha script and later divided into two scripts.Andronov, Mikhail Sergeevich. A Grammar of the Malayalam Language in Historical Treatment.
In about 1796, Abel Stevens had a wooden sawmill built, the mill is recorded in Lewis Grant's 1797 field notes as "Wm. Stevens Mill" \- William was Abel's cousin. It is assumed this first sawmill was built sometime after Stevens received his land grant (June 2, 1796). A wooden grist mill was added later (likely powered by the same waterwheel as the sawmill).
In April 2008, Bicycle Victoria began a cross promotion with Subaru dealers in Melbourne. The deal offered free bike maps and bike pumps to Bicycle Victoria members who test rode Subaru 4WD's. It is assumed the Bicycle Victoria receives advertising revenue from the promotion. Some criticised this promotion, seeing it as pro-car and against the mission of the organisation.
Branches of a Coxeter–Dynkin diagram are labeled with a rational number p, representing a dihedral angle of 180°/p. When the angle is 90° and the mirrors have no interaction, so the branch can be omitted from the diagram. If a branch is unlabeled, it is assumed to have , representing an angle of 60°. Two parallel mirrors have a branch marked with "∞".
It is assumed that the arrival of the Confederate blockade runners Whisper and Rattlesnake several days after the storm, were in order to recover the military cargo, but they found little salvageable material. What was salvaged included several boxes of salted meat from the Run'her's cargo, which were sold on 9 April 1865 to an English ship returning from Mexico.
The active process is also known as the cochlear amplifier. This amplification increases vibrations of the basilar membrane through energy obtained from the Organ of Corti. As the stimulation increases, it is assumed that basilar membrane displacement, caused by the traveling wave, becomes continually more basal in regards to the cochlea.McFadden D, Plattsmier H. Exposure-induced loudness shifts and threshold shifts.
Because of its size it is assumed that this building served a dealer for storage of his goods. In a further rebuilding phase the basement was abandoned and filled in with clay. Above the basement is a representative room with subfloor heating (hypocaust) which was decorated with murals and had glazed windows. To the southwest there were two bathrooms measuring approximately .
Arriving at Constantinople, Schiltberger stayed in hiding there for a time; he then returned to his Bavarian home (1427) by way of Kilia, Akkerman, Lemberg, Kraków, Breslau and Meissen. After his return he became a chamberlain of Duke Albert III, probably receiving this appointment in the first instance before the duke's accession in 1438. It is assumed that he died around 1440.
It was discovered on 10 July that Balasubramaniam's house in Taman Pelangi had been broken into, but police have yet to ascertain whether anything was stolen. Balasubramaniam was said to have taken refuge in a neighbouring country with his wife and children. They searched the above-ground facilities on 21 April and then withdrew. There was looting and destruction, mainly by the forced labourers and foreign workers still remaining in the region. As a result, production records for the period before 1945 were largely lost. It is assumed that in June 1945 the mine was flooded up to its natural outlet above the Fürstlicher Stollen.
In the context of mathematical construction of stochastic processes, the term regularity is used when discussing and assuming certain conditions for a stochastic process to resolve possible construction issues. For example, to study stochastic processes with uncountable index sets, it is assumed that the stochastic process adheres to some type of regularity condition such as the sample functions being continuous.
Here the words "everything for the benefit of Greece" are highlighted by Kourilas. It seems though, that before his detention Gregory had already been involved in the Revolution, because a good number of Epirots, and indeed many from Argyrokastro, had been fighting in Euboea. It is assumed by the historians that this is the reason that the Turks had arrested him.
With SLIP, these were the two SLIP-connected hosts; with KISS, it is assumed that the KISS framing link is over serial with only the host computer and the TNC involved. Among other things, this makes it awkward to address multiple TNCs without having multiple (serial) data channels. Alternatives to KISS do exist that address these limitations, such as 6PACK.
It used a PCB instead of the UK built MK1.5 which used strip board. Different transistor and capacitor setups have been used over the years. Earlier variants are fuller sounding, while later ones are rather bright and cutting. It is assumed that these were initially made for the US market, while the Sola Sound made units were distributed in the UK and Europe.
Duttaphrynus valhallae is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae. It is endemic to Weh Island, located northwest of Sumatra, Indonesia. Known only from the holotype (more correctly, syntypes), its ecology is unknown, but it is assumed to be a lowland forest species. Practically no forest habitat remains on Weh Island, and it is not known whether the species still persists there.
The name Rani is assumed to be derived from an archaeological site at Gomsi, where there might have resided a "Rani" (queen) during the medieval period (Probably of the Chutiya Kingdom). The site was excavated from an cultivation field of Rani Village. As per the Archaeological Survey of India it is assumed that the Rani of the Chutiya kingdom was residing there.
Ratchet Gearloose is Gyro's paternal grandfather, created by Carl Barks. He knew Scrooge McDuck: he first met him during his Mississippi riverboat days. They later met on the island of Krakatoa. Nothing was known about Ratchet since then but it is assumed that he wound up in Duckburg since his son Fulton Gearloose is one of the first three Junior Woodchucks.
A large tumulus marks the summit, alongside an Ordnance Survey triangulation column. The top is grassed and it is assumed that the tumulus was built from stones on the north slope. The view is heavily obstructed by the main range of the western fells, the highpoints being the Scafells and Coniston Fells. Wastwater can be brought into view by walking north east.
This species also does well when kept in an aquarium captivity. The male is considered to have more of a vivid, rainbow color than the females do. This species typically has a blue back with pale, yellow fins. The diet of this species is unknown, but it is assumed that they feed on small insects and vegetation such as algae.
Aluminium isopropoxide is used in MPV reductions of ketones and aldehydes and the Oppenauer Oxidation of secondary alcohols. In these reactions, it is assumed that the tetrameric cluster disagregates. It is used in the Tishchenko reaction. 400px Being a basic alkoxide, Al(O-i-Pr)3 has been also investigated as a catalyst for ring opening polymerization of cyclic esters.
Talin's Katoghike Church sits central to the town cemetery and dominates the surrounding landscape. It is assumed to have been constructed during the late 7th century based on the architectural style. The building is currently in ruin, where the dome and a significant portion of the western wing have since collapsed. There is a dodecagonal drum that is centrally positioned over the structure.

One woman lost her life in this area. The tornado then turned to the northeast, producing more tree damage before it is assumed to have dissipated after passing southeast of Herby, where the supercell quickly produced another F3 tornado that struck Blachownia. The parent supercell brought 4 centimetres (1.6 in) hail to some places while the tornado was in progress.

Whittle, Europe in the Neolithic: The Creation of New Worlds, Cambridge University Press, 1996, p.198, a culture that settled the coastline and already used ceramics. While primarily hunters, it is assumed that the mesolithic people were also foraging, fishing, and even farming on a most primitive scale.
For adults, the prevalence of overweight and obesity is 39.7 and 29.9%, respectively. Since the 1990s, fat has become the principal source of energy in the Mexican diet and it is assumed that the consumption of highly processed food will continue increasing. As a consequence, Mexico has seen the same kind of health issues that have affected other countries with overweight populations.
The Nash equilibrium is the traditional solution concept in game theory. It depends on the cognitive abilities of the players. It is assumed that players are aware of the structure of the game and consciously try to predict the moves of their opponents and to maximize their own payoffs. In addition, it is presumed that all the players know this (see common knowledge).
Aldebaran was originally نير الضبران (Nā᾽ir al Dabarān in Arabic), meaning "the bright one of the follower". al Dabarān (الدبران) then applied to the whole of the lunar mansion containing the Hyades. It is assumed that what it was following is the Pleiades. A variety of transliterated spellings have been used, with the current Aldebaran becoming standard relatively recently.

Loch Achilty is notable for having no outflow, and it is assumed that it is discharging its surplus water via tunnel into the River Rosay that eventually flows into the larger River Conon.
Marine cyanobacteria are to date the smallest known photosynthetic organisms; Prochlorococcus is the smallest at just 0.5 to 0.7 micrometres in diameter. The coccoid shaped cells are non- motile and free-living. Their small size and large surface-area-to-volume ratio, gives them an advantage in nutrient-poor water. Still, it is assumed that Prochlorococcus have a very small nutrient requirement.
Parjanya ( ) according to the Vedas is a deity of rain, thunder, lightning, and the one who fertilizes the earth. The Atharvanic poet claims Parjanya and Prithvi father and mother of all beings. The Canadian Encyclopedia. Messenjah has not released an album since the late 1990s, and it is assumed the group disbanded around that time. The band was originally started by Errol Blackwood (vocals, bass guitar), who left after 1986 to start a solo career, and Rupert "Ojiji" Harvey (vocals, guitar, saxophone). After Errol Blackwood's departure Harvey became the head of the group.
There is no record of him joining the Haarlem Guild of Saint Luke. It is assumed he later joined the Amsterdam Guild. It was the usual practice in the 17th century for people to draft their will before starting out on a perilous journey.
ITT to the point of extreme hypoglycemia is considered to be the gold standard for assessing the integrity of the HPA. Sometimes ITT is performed to assess the peak adrenal capacity, e.g. before surgery. It is assumed that the ability to respond to insulin induced hypoglycemia translates into appropriate cortisol rise in the stressful event of acute illness or major surgery.

Two examples were provided to the Royal Flying Corps for evaluation.
Another early settler to the United States was James Hunter Scurfield (born 1851, Seaton Delaval, Northumberland) who came to America from England through the New York Harbour. It has not been confirmed yet if he was of the gentry’s line or of Simon’s line; however he came from a family of coal miners so it is assumed that he is of Simon’s line.
Currently, no direct observations have been reported on the reproductive behaviour of the species. However, it is assumed that this behaviour will resemble that of most species within the genus Leucopternis. Among this genus, raptors make a stick nest in the canopy of a tree and both parents share parental care by incubating the eggs for a period of five weeks.
The site was visited in 1968. Forty-eight years later, a team from the geology department of the Kutch University visited the site in May 2019. It is located on the Nagarparkar Fault. Based on the presence of the Syenite, a Precambrian basement rock, at the site; it is assumed that the Syenite rocks form the basement for the Kutch Basin sediments.
Pressures to entertain during dinner evidently took the focus away from the food, fortunately, as her parent's eating habits turned her stomach. Constantly spitting food into her napkin, Elizabeth lived in an uncomfortable and stressful environment. However, this proves merely to be the root of Elizabeth's condition. It is assumed that Elizabeth is normal in every other aspect of her life.
Hardenbergh's father served as a trustee from 1767 until 1786. It is assumed that he served in a role administering the college's activities as early as 1770. His name appears as college president on the diploma conferred to Simeon DeWitt, a 1776 alumnus. In 1785, the trustees invited the Reverend Dirck Romeyn to be the college's first appointed president but he declined.
In its introductory remarks, Johnson acknowledges the historical plot, and his altering some dates. The central story follows the Lupigis family and the difficult fates they suffer following a rebellion against Emperor Charlemagne. The novel received the Nordic Council Literature Prize. It is assumed to have been of decisive importance for the Swedish Academy's decision to award Johnson the Nobel Prize for Literature.
The emission lines are generated in the stellar wind and the photosphere is completely hidden. The surface fraction of hydrogen is still estimated to be 70%. The two component stars of NGC 3603-C circle each other every nine days. It is assumed that the secondary is sufficiently smaller and fainter than the primary not to affect the calculation of its physical properties.
It also states that Eric reigned for ten years, which would put the beginning of his reign in c. 1150. If this is correct he would have been a rival king to Sverker I, who had ascended the throne in c. 1132 and was murdered in 1156. At any rate it is assumed that Eric was recognized in most provinces after 1156.
The band shot another music video, and it was released on YouTube November 19, 2008. It featured an introductory speech about the song by Foreman at the beginning, and features live footage from a concert the band played. Sony owns the copyright to the video, so it is assumed the video was shot for promotion of "The Best Yet" compilation.
It is assumed that YKL-40 plays a role in cancer cell proliferation, survival, invasiveness and in the regulation of cell-matrix interactions. It is suggested that YKL-40 is a marker associated with a poorer clinical outcome in genetically defined subgroups of different tumors. YKL-40 was recently introduced into (restricted) clinical practice. A few techniques are available for its detection.
Edgbastonia alanwillsi is a species of minute freshwater snail with an operculum, an aquatic gastropod mollusc or micromollusc in the family Hydrobiidae. It is currently the sole species within the genus Edgbastonia. E. alanwillsi is endemic to western Queensland, Australia. It is only found in a small group of springs in the Edgbaston Reserve near Aramac, where it is assumed to be relictual.
There are theories that claim this would explain the origin of the name of today's Sajan. Another theory claim that name Sajan is of Slavic origin, since the Slavic village with similar name Zajan was recorded in Vesprimiensis county in 1398. It is assumed that name came from the Slavic name Svojan (Jovan M. Pejin, Iz prošlosti Kikinde, Kikinda, 2000).
The major commentary used for the Chumash is the Rashi commentary. The Rashi commentary and Metzudot commentary are the major commentaries for the Nach. There are two major approaches to the study of, and commentary on, the Tanakh. In the Jewish community, the classical approach is a religious study of the Bible, where it is assumed that the Bible is divinely inspired.
Step 8 is unproductive and reversible. In hydrocarboxylations hydrogen is replaced by water or an alcohol and the reaction product is a carboxylic acid or an ester. An example of this reaction type is the conversion of butadiene to adipic acid. Cobalt catalysts (together with iron) are relevant in the Fischer-Tropsch process in which it is assumed that organocobalt intermediates form.
Amber is a foreign wood carver who owns a shop in Bingtown. She is particularly skilled at creating beads and other small pieces, although she has been known to carve furniture. She employs a Six Duchies woman named Jek to guard her shop. Amber has golden skin, eyes and hair, and it is assumed that she takes her name from her unusual coloring.

Vor dem Abgrund 1930–1933. Reichsbankpräsident in Krisenzeiten, p. 115.
As of May 5, 2015 it is at version 3.7. The number of users of MODS is unknown. Implementers are encouraged to register their uses of MODS in the implementation registry on the official MODS website. To date there are about 35 projects listed in the registry, although it is assumed that many others are making use of the standard.
Then in the period 681–85 Centwine of Wessex conquered King Cadwaladr and "advanced as far as the sea", but it is not clear where this was. Little is known about the ecology of B. nobile. The species started to be found in Tokyo by the end of the 1970s. As it was not reported in previous surveys in the area, it is assumed to be introduced from elsewhere. Studies on regeneration have shown that B. nobile has a great regenerative ability similar to that of freshwater planarians.
The Bull-Leaping Fresco from the Great Palace at Knossos, Crete The bull- leaper, an ivory figurine from the palace of Knossos, Crete. The German marine plunged the remaining munition mostly undocumented in the mudflats. Although most of the munition seems to be dumped in the Lower Saxony part of the Wadden Sea, it is assumed that a total mass of 400.000 – 1.300.000 tons can be found in the Schleswig- Holstein Wadden Sea. The exact locations of the plunged munitions are mostly unknown.

2) Directly - by measuring the reduction in mass of the potometer over a period of time. Here it is assumed that any loss in mass is due to transpiration. There are two main types of potometers: the bubble potometer (as detailed below), and the mass potometer. The mass potometer consists of a plant with its root submerged in a beaker.
At the beginning of 1209, Conrad II defeated the army of Elisabeth's half-brother, Władysław III Spindleshanks, in the Battle of Lubusz. CD track info was similarly displayed on the console mounted single CD player, where fitted, on its own green LCD. The 9000 SID was not noted for pixel failures since it appears not to be LCD based. Where a CD "pack" was fitted, it is assumed the track info would be displayed on the head unit. Reference: from personal ownership.
Aenictopecheidae is a rare family of insects occurring worldwide but containing only a few species, including a single American species, Boreostolus americanus. This species lives under large, flat stones and sandy substrates along mountain streams in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. It is 5 mm long and occurs in both the macropterous and brachypterous condition. It is assumed to be predaceous.

The ships including their engines were produced as subcontracting at the nearby Crichton yard. The largest order of the Russian Navy, 24 motor cutters of 18 metres long, came most likely in early 1916. The vessels were not handed over before the February Revolution. It is assumed that Andrée & Rosenqvist received the first quarter of the payment, but the remaining part never came.
Of the leftmost bull-leaper, only arms and the head are preserved. By comparison with similar vases from İnandık and Boğazköy it is assumed that he was shown springing up from a crouching position. A second man is shown doing a backflip, landing his feet on the hindquarters of the bull. The third leaper is shown leaping over the back of the bull.
Some moved to the city of Zadar and became citizens. It is assumed to have been closely related to Kačić family because in 1355 at Podnadin is mentioned Lapčić de genere Cachichorum. It is assumed that every tenant benefits from a clean environment, and should share in that cost. An example of a CAM that is charged to only a subset of tenants might be the charges for cleaning the food court area, where all of the vendors in the court collectively cover the higher cost of cleaning the tables on a frequent schedule.
In voting systems, independence from irrelevant alternatives is often interpreted as, if one candidate (X) would win an election, and if a new candidate (Y) were added to the ballot, then either X or Y would win the election. Approval voting, range voting, and majority judgment satisfy the IIA criterion if it is assumed that voters rate candidates individually and independently of knowing the available alternatives in the election, using their own absolute scale. This assumption implies that some voters having meaningful preferences in an election with only two alternatives will necessarily cast a vote which has little or no voting power, or necessarily abstain. If it is assumed to be at least possible that any voter having preferences might not abstain, or vote their favorite and least favorite candidates at the top and bottom ratings respectively, then these systems fail IIA.
The Washington Post. 3 September 2015. Hungary adopted a list of countries deemed safe for transiting purposes: if an asylum seeker had passed through those countries, it is assumed that they could have found asylum there, and therefore would be ineligible for asylum in Hungary. Orbán spoke at the United Nations General Assembly and called for a "global quota" system to distribute refugees to all countries.
These have light brown and purplish markings or spots. There are normally 3 or 4 eggs produced in a nest. Both the males and the females give (frequently alternating) parental care, which includes: feeding their nestlings and removing their feacal sacs from the nest. Whilst only females have actually been observed to incubate (brood) laid eggs, it is assumed males can do this as well.
Copper(II) tetrafluoroborate is any inorganic compound with the formula Cu(H2O)x(BF4)2. As usually encountered, it is assumed to be the hexahydrate (x = 6), but this salt can be partially dehydrated to the tetrahydrate. Regardless, these compounds are aquo complexes of copper in its +2 oxidation state, with two weakly coordinating tetrafluoroborate anions. The compound is used in organic synthesis, e.g.
An original Pygmy language has been postulated for at least some Pygmy groups. Merritt Ruhlen writes that "African Pygmies speak languages belonging to either to the Nilo-Saharan or Niger–Kordofanian families. It is assumed that Pygmies once spoke their own language(s), but that, through living in symbiosis with other Africans in prehistorical times, they adopted languages belonging to these two families."Ruhlen, Merritt.
In "An Unearthly Child", he was seen smoking a large bent tobacco pipe, making him the only incarnation of the Doctor to be seen smoking; it is assumed that he gave up after that serial. In the original version of the first episode, Hartnell wore a contemporary (1960s) suit. Among the many changes made to the episode in reshooting was the Doctor's (and Susan's) clothes.
Santamartamys is a nocturnal rodent, and its diet is unknown, but it is assumed to feed on plant matter such as fruits or seeds, like similar species in family Echimyidae. It is able to easily climb a vertical wooden surface. The specimen observed in 2011 made no sounds. It is endemic to Colombia, and has only been found in Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta at altitudes of .
The building Zlaty Dukat is a part of the historical pedestrian zone in the heart of Kosice city, Slovakia. It is assumed that basement walls were part of the first Royal house in Kosice city.
In their natural habitat, mountain treeshrews were observed being active during the day. They forage on the ground among fallen logs and branches where they feed mostly on arthropods. They also consume large quantities of wild fruits and berries, eating them in short bursts. It is assumed that they extract sugar laden juices and in this way supplement any dietary deficiencies of an arthropod diet.
The name "Nebet" comes from the Turkish words nevbet (meaning "guard") and tepe (meaning "hill") or "The hill of the guards". It is assumed that this was in return for education, although it may not have been. This legacy can be seen by the names of farms, pubs and houses in the area. The village has grown organically from a few houses, being effectively one street with no social centre. Current local planning policy has successfully prevented any inappropriate development of additional housing in the area.
The Manor House at this time was held by Sir Thomas Stanley. It is assumed that the domicile to which the now defunct Stanley Street once led was the manorial house. This site is currently occupied by the Stanhope Street Convent of the Irish Sisters of Charity. In 1674 the Manor of Grangegorman was held by Sir John Stanley (the son of the previous owner).
Normally, it is assumed that a CA classified competition is for horses. If pony classes are involved, the letter P is added to the classification (e.g. CAIP-A). Numbers denote the arrangement of horses in the class (e.g. CAI-A 2 is a competition for horse pairs, whereas CAIP-B 1/2/4 is a Category B competition for ponies – singles, pairs and four-in-hand).
A real distinctive trait is that the quadratojugal touches the postorbital, whereas in other Thyreophora for which the condition is known, these bones are separated by the jugal. Usually it is assumed that this configuration is not unique for Pinacosaurus but a synapomorphy of the Ankylosauridae as a whole. In 2015, a juvenile specimen was described showing a complex hyoid bone or tongue bone apparatus.
A Matter of Confidence or Issue of Confidence is an important bill—such as a budget—passed by the responsible house (i.e. the house directly elected by the people). If a government fails to pass a bill considered a matter of confidence, it is assumed the government has lost the confidence of the house and the bill is treated as a Motion of No Confidence.

The muses are Melpomene (tragedy), Erato, (lyric poetry), Urania, (astronomy), and Clio (history). Like Wither, Milton was unimpressed by Marshall's work, considering the portrait to be deeply unflattering. He had Marshall engrave satirical verses written in Greek underneath the image. It is assumed that this was a practical joke on Marshall, who is unlikely to have known that he was engraving insults directed at himself.
It is assumed that he took the surname "Amati" as a homage to one of the Amatis, the most famous violin-maker family of the time in Bologna, but he was not himself a member. His violins are considered of varying quality in workmanship, although they are noted for their high-quality varnish. His workshop was located in the Santi Cosma e Damiano district.
Later on Phrygians, Carians, Lydians, Persians and Macedonians passed through the region during recorded history but left very few traces. It is assumed that the relics of raiders and chariots in mounds and on rocks found at Yavuzca farm, from Çivril, date back to the Phrygians in whose time the most notable settlement here was called Eumeneia. A tomb located on Beycehöyük dates from Seljuk era.
Because an old illustration from 1744 still shows only five graves, it is assumed today, that the number seven is being used in the figurative sense for a larger number, as in the German expression sieben Sachen ("seven things") which means 'everything'. The first written record of the graves was made in 1720 by an academic.Großsteingräber Sieben Steinhäuser at www.steinzeugen.de. Retrieved 13 Jan 2014.

The outside gallery surrounds the building on three sides.
Scientific research indicates that the first brick synagogue was built in second half of the 16th century. It is assumed the synagogue must have been destroyed by fire during the Tatars raid in 1617. The new synagogue was then built on the ruins of the old building. King Sigismund III Vasa of Poland approved the construction of a new synagogue and school on 5 May 1626.

When Nintendo decided to be the United States publisher, the title was changed and a logo was specifically redesigned to resemble the logo of Nintendo's popular The Legend of Zelda game franchise.
Oldrich's son Bretislaus I was appointed as Count of Moravia. Oldrich himself was imprisoned in Bavaria, but in 1034 was pardoned and allowed to return to Bohemia. Oldrich deposed and blinded Jaromir, reclaimed the Bohemian throne, and exiled his son Bretislaus. While the reason for the conflict between father and son has been lost, it is assumed Bretislaus had supported Jaromir over his father.
There are several species from the Eocene, such as Petermanniopsis anglesaensis or Smilax, but their identification is not definite. Another known fossil is Ripogonum scandens from the Miocene. Due to the scarcity of data, it seems impossible to determine precisely the age and the initial distribution of the order. It is assumed that the Liliales originate from the Lower Cretaceous, over 100 million years ago.
Upon his defeat, Sinestro is given the chance to choose his fate. He chooses Hell, and is dragged into the Underworld by a fiery hand. In retrospect, it is assumed that this version of Sinestro is another hard light construct created by Parallax at Sinestro's behest, as the fear entity is still bonded to Jordan's soul during his time as the Spectre, continuously breaking his will.

After the war, the troops marauded their way to the Rhine. They were beaten in 1444 in a battle near Basel by a Swiss army, suffering great losses in the process. Thus, it is assumed that Niederaschbach (in 1393 called Nieder Aspach) was utterly destroyed a few years before that battle. Within what are now Aschbach's municipal limits were once two other villages, Nörweiler and Mittelhofen.

It may have been used by some of the local peoples where Pytheas landed to themselves -Pretani.
The earliest reference to Boston (or Bordwadestone as it was then spelled) was around the 1170s. Stark, Oded (1999). “Siblings, strangers, and the surge of altruism.” Economics Letters 65(2): 135-142. Stark constructs a model in which it is assumed that each individual plays a one-shot prisoner’s dilemma game with his or her sibling, or with a stranger, and that the probability that an individual survives to reproduce is proportional to his or her payoff in this game.
Firstly, the angle that the rows of text make with the image raster lines (skew angle) is estimated. It is assumed to lie in the range of ±20°. A small patch of text in the image is selected randomly and then rotated in the range of ±20° until the variance of the pixel intensities of the patch summed along the raster lines is maximised. See Figure 2.
However, their escape route was blocked by an Abysmal Knight. Despite Iruga's protests, Keough distracted the knight as Iruga got Roan and Yufa out. However, before Iruga could make it back Keough was stabbed and the doors of Glast Heim closed. In the beginning it is assumed he died, but the group later learns that he was brainwashed and corrupted by the Dark Lord.
In the idealised converter, all the components are considered to be perfect. Specifically, the switch and the diode have zero voltage drop when on and zero current flow when off, and the inductor has zero series resistance. Further, it is assumed that the input and output voltages do not change over the course of a cycle (this would imply the output capacitance as being infinite).
It is assumed that they were constructed in 1892. Nos. 153 and 155 Gloucester Street are listed in the Sands Directory until 1892. Nos. 12 and 14 Essex Street are also listed in the Sands at this time, however, are listed to the east of Gloucester Street. Nos. 10, 12a and 14a, however, on the western side of Gloucester Street, are first listed in 1893.
It is assumed that Nos. 6 and 8 were demolished in 1912. The Gloucester Street terraces were demolished in 1987, and site was used as a car park prior to its redevelopment in the late 1980s. The church, an impressive monument of the Counter-Reformation, is one of the early churches of Styria that uses the pilaster style later magnificently developed in the Carlone churches of the Frauenberg Sanctuary of Admont Abbey, Schlierbach and Garsten. It is assumed despite lack of archival evidence that this important building in Leoben dates back to Pietro Francesco Carlone, whose father had already settled in Leoben.
The spelling Kirschhofen is known from 1684. Since 1978, Kirschhofen has been linked by footbridge to the outlying centre of Odersbach on the other side of the Lahn. Males have been shown to have higher levels of glycogen and mitochondria in muscle cells. Because B. giganteus is so large, it is assumed to have a higher metabolic rate versus other cockroaches, such as Periplaneta americana, but in comparison, it is quite sluggish. Rates of oxygen consumption are significantly higher in P. americana when compared to B. giganteus, likely due to higher daily rhythmic activity.
30-32 What happened after his escape is not known. There is a gap in the records. It is assumed that he eventually submitted to Alexander, since in 324 BC, Artonis, the sister of Pharnabazus, was given in marriage to Eumenes by Alexander the Great. Heterogeneous catalysts based on platinum play a major role in the petrochemical industry, and it is assumed that these useful reactions proceed via surface-bound organoplatinum intermediates. Better defined but less commercially significant are homogeneous catalysts based on platinum. For hydrosilylation, H2PtCl6 ("Speier's catalyst") is an important catalyst. Mechanisms for this catalytic system usually assume intermediates that contain hydride, silyl ligand (R3Si), and alkene ligands.
43-45 which covers the footprint of the shed. No records have been found of what was removed by the works, and it is assumed that all earlier archaeological evidence has been destroyed. From 1991 to 1994 SHFA undertook a comprehensive program of internal and external conservation works to Merchant's House. This included some archaeological monitoring work inside and in front of the building.
200px In this boundary condition, it is assumed that on the two sides of the boundary, same physical processes exist. All the variables have same value and gradients at the same distance from the boundary. It acts as a mirror that reflects all the flow distribution to the other side. The conditions at symmetric boundary are no flow across boundary and no scalar flux across boundary.
Characteristic of Frankish colonisation are the row graves and certain suffixes associated with the founding of many settlements. These include -heim, -hausen/-husen, -rod, -ingen and -weiler/-wiler. After 780 A. D. no new villages are founded with these suffixes, nor is there any evidence of later row graves. It is assumed therefore that burials now took place at the churches of the local settlement.
Cañazas was founded in 1757 under the name of San Francisco Javier de Cañazo. Since the Spaniards established the custom of naming the places they arrived, the named the town after the saint on arriving on 3 December, which is the feast day. It is assumed that the name of Cañazo arose from the surrounding mountains. The first school was established in Cañazo in 1853.
The error rate is not recorded in the paper and pencil version of the test, however, it is assumed that if errors are made it will be reflected in the completion time. The second part of the test, in which the subject alternates between numbers and letters, is used to examine executive functioning. The first part is used primarily to examine cognitive processing speed.
The origin of the name of "Elderslie" is Old English for "field of Elder Trees". It is assumed that William Wallace was born and grew up in Elderslie. On the site of the ancient Elderslie Castle there stands a monument to commemorate his life, and a commemoration ceremony is held every August. Also on the site is the Wallace Yew, an ancient yew tree.
Some of the verses are neumed and it is assumed that the entire collection was to be sung. Four of the original forty-nine are called modi (melodies, namely sequences). The purpose of the collection has also eluded scholars. It was probably either a book of instruction on Latin verse, a songbook for wandering minstrels (the clerici vagabundi: vagabond clerics), or an anthology for private enjoyment.
Southwest of Skye the course of the Moine Thrust Belt becomes uncertain. It is assumed that it must pass to the southeast of the mainly Lewisian islands of Coll and Tiree. It is often shown passing through the Sound of Iona west of Mull, although no thrusts are actually exposed. It is presumed to be truncated by the Great Glen Fault zone somewhere southwest of Mull.
As a ceremonial center, La Venta contains an elaborate series of buried offerings and tombs, as well as monumental sculptures. These stone monuments, stelae, and "altars" were carefully distributed amongst the mounds and platforms. The mounds and platforms were built largely from local sands and clays. It is assumed that many of these platforms were once topped with wooden structures, which have long since disappeared.
La Anunciación, by Mohedano in the Church of the Anunciación, Sevilla. Antonio Mohedano (1561-1625) was a Spanish painter of the Renaissance period. It is assumed that he was born at Lucena, to a magistrate of Antequera, since he is referred to as a vecino of Antequera and a native (natural) of Lucena. He trained with Pablo de Céspedes, after his return to Córdoba in 1577.
425 The exact foundation date is uncertain, but it is assumed that it was about 1155, after the foundation of Stolpe Abbey in 1153 and before Ratibor's death.Eberhard Völker, Pommern und Ostbrandenburger, Langen Müller, 2000, p.31, The first written record is the confirmation of the abbey by the Pomeranian bishop Adalbert of 8 June 1159, which at the same time is the oldest known Pomeranian document.
However, it is assumed Sallée completed his studies at both institutions between 1933 and 1938. At the Cleveland School of Art, Sallée was the first African-American student to graduate. He received a B.A. in Education from Adelbert College of Western Reserve University. Career as Artist and Teacher After his studies, Sallée taught at Kennard and Outhwaite Junior High Schools, and Central High School, all in Cleveland.
This arrangement was made by Mr Whitten after enclosing a verandah and incorporating it into a dwelling space. The first floor is used for bedrooms. A 1914 phogograph shows the building basically as it is with cast iron balcony posts, valancing and balustradeds and stuccoed walls. It is assumed that during the ownership of John Davies this building was given its late Victorian appearance.
Jerónimos Monastery's Western portal, transition from the Gothic style to Renaissance, by Nicolas Chantereine, 1517 Nicolau Chantereine (also called Nicolas Chanterenne or Nicolas de Chanterenne) (c.1485 – 1551) was a French sculptor and architect who worked mainly in Portugal and Spain. It is assumed that he was born in Normandy, France. It is not clear whether he got his training in France or Italy.
Udaka Vadya is an Indian musical instrument. It is assumed either this musical instruments had been Jal tarang or similar to it. This percussion instrument has been categorized in medieval musical treatise under Ghan Vadya (diophonic instruments where the sound is produced by striking a surface). This instrument has been mentioned in Vatsyayana's Kamasutra, also Sangeeta Parijata of the 17th century mentioned about this instrument.
Dalmataes attacked Roman guard posts near the Neretva, Greek merchant towns, and the Roman-friendly Illyrian tribe Daorsi. They upgraded their settlement into a strong fort and surrounded their capital with a ring of smaller forts. The reports of writers from that time say that Delminium was a "large city", almost inaccessible and impregnable. It is assumed that at this time 5,000 Dalmataes lived in Delminium.
They had 13 children over the next 26 years. MacLean hand wrote 102 letters as part of his official business, mostly in broken Spanish—it is assumed he was self-taught. The letters were very likely delivered through private arrangements due to the lack of infrastructure in the region at that time. His letters shed light on an otherwise unwritten period in Patagonian history.
Dawson was born on 16 July 1863 at Rockhampton, Queensland, the son of Anderson Dawson and his wife Jane (née Smith).Queensland Registrar-General's Index of Births, 1863/C992 When he was six, his mother died when her dress caught alight from the fire. It is assumed that the baby she was holding died also. Andrew Dawson was placed in Diamantina orphanage in Brisbane.
V883 Orionis is a protostar in the constellation of Orion. It is associated with IC 430 (Haro 13A), a peculiar Hα object surveyed by Guillermo Haro in 1952. It is assumed to be a member of the Orion Nebula cluster at , although the Gaia Data Release 2 parallax suggests a closer distance. V883 Orionis, like most protostars, is surrounded by a circumstellar disc of dust.
The verb meaning "to set the price of" was used only from the 14th century onwards. The evolving linguistic meanings reflect the early history of the growing cash economy, and the evolution of commercial trade. Nowadays what "price" means is obvious and self-evident, and it is assumed that prices are all one of a kind. That is because money has become used for nearly all transactions.
Note that octaves are usually ignored in constructing periodicity blocks (as they are in scale theory generally) because it is assumed that for any pitch in the tuning system, all pitches differing from it by some number of octaves are also available in principle. In other words, all pitches and intervals can be considered as residues modulo octave. This simplification is commonly known as octave equivalence.
The exact time period of Heer and Ranjha's life is not known, however it is assumed that they lived during fifteenth century in Punjab. The plaque at the tomb mentions 876 AH, as year of their death, which corresponds to 1471 AD. An exact date of tomb's construction is not known, it is believed that the tomb was constructed some time after their death.
Map of the northern part of Overijssel (1743). Who the collector of the Atlas der Neederlanden was or for whom it was made remains unclear. At some point in the 19th century the book found its way to the University of Amsterdam where it is now part of the Special Collections of its University Library. It is assumed that the atlas was composed by Covens and Mortier.
The original menorah was made for the Tabernacle, and the Bible records it as being present until the Israelites crossed the Jordan river. When the Tabernacle tent was pitched in Shiloh (), it is assumed that the menorah was also present. However, no mention is made of it during the years that the Ark of the Covenant was moved in the times of Samuel and Saul.
Etruscan black-figure hydria Locally produced Etruscan vases probably date from the 7th century BC. At first, they resemble black-figure models from Corinth and eastern Greece. It is assumed that in the early phase primarily Greek immigrants were the producers. The first important style was Pontic pottery painting. Afterward, in the period between 530 and 500 BC, the Micali Painter and his workshop followed.
He was killed by Rath (who was possessed by Nadil at the time) in book 11. He returns in the latest book with the death faery, though unseen by any of the inhabitance of the Dragon Castle. It is assumed that he is either a ghost or a death faery now. He also visits Draqueen in the end, before Lykouleon dies, with Reema and Duuma.
Several years later the cameo resurfaced in the collection of Queen Christina of Sweden. There is little record of its subsequent history. It is assumed that the Queen took it with her to Italy, bequeathing it to her favourite, Cardinal Decio Azzolini. It was subsequently acquired, with the rest of Christina's art collection, by Livio Odescalchi, Duke of Bracciano and nephew of Innocent XI.Ancient Rome website.
Since it depends on the density parameter \Omega, its value depends on the cosmological model used. In an Einstein–de Sitter model it equals 18\pi^2\approx 178. This definition is not universal, however, as the exact value of \Delta_c depends on the cosmology. In an Einstein–de Sitter model, it is assumed that the density parameter is due to matter only, where \Omega_m=1.
Paralarva of Teuthowenia megalops, about in mantle length. Clockwise from top: ventral aspect, oral aspect, closeup of eye with photophore anlage Teuthowenia megalops subadult The life cycle of Teuthowenia megalops has not been extensively observed. From the recorded depths of captured adult specimens, it is assumed that mating and spawning happens in the deep midwaters, at depths greater than . At these depths, the waters are quite dark.
Fr. Cera began work on the organ in 1816, while the church was still under construction. He gathered and buried under beach sand the bamboos he would use. It is assumed to have been conducted in October–December 1816 since as a natural scientist he knew that bamboos to be used must be tough, mature, and enduring. Burying them would protect them from insects.
While it is assumed that foreign transmissions terminating in the U.S. (such as a non-U.S. citizen accessing a U.S. website) subject non-U.S. citizens to NSA surveillance, recent research into boomerang routing has raised new concerns about the NSA's ability to surveil the domestic Internet traffic of foreign countries. Boomerang routing occurs when an Internet transmission that originates and terminates in a single country transits another.
Its mass fraction gravitational binding energy would then be 0.187, −18.7% (exothermic). This is not near 0.6/2 = 0.3, −30%. The equation of state for a neutron star is not yet known. It is assumed that it differs significantly from that of a white dwarf, whose equation of state is that of a degenerate gas that can be described in close agreement with special relativity.
Joseph was homeschooled in his childhood. His first real exposure to music was the Christian hip hop group DC Talk. Regarding religion, Joseph said: Joseph has a three-part tattoo that represents "something that saved his life". Though it is assumed it deals with his Christian faith, Joseph has been specific about the fact that he doesn't want the meaning of his tattoos spread across the internet.
Psychological causes are often complicated and the direct cause of mixed anxiety-depressive disorder is unknown. Usually, it is assumed that psychological conditions are caused by a combination of biological, psychological, and environmental conditions. The high comorbidity of depression and anxiety, as well as the existence of mixed anxiety- depressive disorder suggests that these two conditions have similar causes, but this is still unconfirmed.
However, it has been argued that the latter criticism not only assumes low impacts for indigenous populations, but also misunderstands the I=PAT equation itself. Environmental impact is a function of human numbers, affluence (i.e., resources consumed per capita) and technology. It is assumed that small-scale societies have low environmental impacts due to their practices and orientations alone but there is little evidence to support this.
Platyischnopidae is a family of amphipod crustaceans. Its members are characterised by the conical rostrum, which is covered with sensory pits at the end. Although digging behaviour has only been directly observed in a few taxa, it is assumed that all the animals in the family Platyischnopidae are fossorial. The genera included in Platyischnopidae are Skaptopus, Platyischnopus, Indischnopus, Tiburonella, Eudevenopus, Tittakunara, Tomituka and Yurrokus.
It is assumed that the area was originally settled by the Thracian tribe Bessi around 2nd century BC. The settlement was the first one in today's Kostenets municipality. During an archaeological study of the "Gorna cherkva" area were found remains of an old fortress and the footprints of an old Christian basilica from the 5th century as well as ancient pottery, Roman, Byzantine and medieval Bulgarian coins.
Halictus rubicundus nests are attacked by kleptoparasitic bees (e.g., Sphecodes), as well as flies (Bombyliidae, Anthomyiidae). Although it would seem as though nesting in dense groups would draw attention to aggregations and increase mortality by parasitism, such is not observed to be the case; because the sweat bees nest densely, it is assumed that there is a large dilution effect that proportionally decreases mortality rates by parasites.
Seti-Merenptah was an ancient Egyptian prince of the late 19th Dynasty, a son of Pharaoh Seti II., p.183 He is depicted behind his father in Seti's small Karnak temple. His figure replaces another, probably that of Chancellor Bay. It is assumed that he was born in the last year of his father's reign and died in Siptah's fourth year, but this is not proven.
They preferred warm conditions and flourished in the interglacial periods during the current Ice Age, expanding their range from Southern Europe as far North as Great Britain during the warmer periods, while permantently residing in Mediterranean Europe during glacial periods. It is assumed that they preferred wooded environments. The straight-tusked elephant became extinct in Britain near the beginning of the Weichselian glaciation, about 115,000 years ago.
One day she surprisingly meets him at a frozen lake, where they talk and skate. Although she returns to the lake, she never sees him again. It is assumed he died or left Howell, although their meeting may have been all in Miranda's imagination. Mrs. Nesbitt: an elderly woman who is like family to the Evanses, having cared for Miranda's mother when she was a child.
The term chazakah () usually refers to the default assumption; i.e. what is assumed until there is evidence to the contrary. For example, if one is known to have owned real estate, it is assumed that he still owns it until proven otherwise. However, with movable items, the chazakah lies with whoever currently has the item in his possession, not with the one who had previously owned it.
It is not possible to identify the persons in such princely graves. They belong to a group of graves found across Europe first discovered in Untersiebenbrunn, Austria. This invasion was not the immediate end of Roman life and culture in the area west of the Rhine. It is assumed that Romans and Romanized country folk left sooner and that people in the towns held out longer.
This allowed the construction of the vessel to be dated to not earlier than 1446. It is assumed the petit blanc was placed in the Ship as a token of good luck. The minter of the coin was Jaques Vincent. From the reign of Louis XII (1498–1515), Crémieu benefited from its strategic position on the route of French expeditionary forces bound for Italy.
Unlike many produced by the workshop, most of Agostino's plates avoided being confiscated and melted down by Charles V's soldiers, and continued to be printed in later years.Landau p.122 Agostino returned to Venice after the sack, and later visited Mantua and Florence before returning to Rome in 1531, remaining until at least 1536. It is assumed he died there, though there is no documentation.
Very little information has been recorded on the diet of the black-faced hawk. Although it is assumed that the raptor must have a similar diet to that of the birds in its genus. snakes and other reptiles are the main prey of all Leucopternis species and hence possibly the main diet for the black-faced hawk as well.Del Hoyo, J., Elliot, A. & Sargatal, J. eds. (1994).
Jayachandran (Simbu) is an orphan working in a hotel as a helper. It is assumed he gets his title name "Thotti Jaya" as he is found in a garbage bin as an infant. One day he beats and fends off a man who gets into a squabble with the hotel owner. The following night, the hotel owner rewards him with cash and dreads him the next morning.
Eucalyptus benthamii was first formally described by Joseph Maiden and Richard Hind Cambage in 1915 from a specimen collected "from the banks of the Nepean River near Cobbity". The description was published in Journal and Proceedings of the Royal Society of New South Wales. Maiden and Cambage did not give a reason for the specific epithet (benthamii) but it is assumed to honour George Bentham.
Lee was born at Stratford Hall Plantation, Westmoreland County, Virginia to Thomas Lee and his wife Hannah Harrison Ludwell. He was the couple's third son and the second one to survive into adulthood. Much about Lee's early life is unknown, but it is assumed that he studied in England along with his brothers.F.W. Alexander, Stratford Hall and the Lees Connected with its History (1912) p.
Based on the evidence of the last of a number of exact dates examined in this text, it is assumed that the text was written soon after March, 1093. His or or has dealt with (judicial procedure). The text is divided into five sections, Vyvaharamukha, Bhashapada, Uttarapada, Kriyapada and Nirnayapada. His magnum opus Dāyabhāga has dealt with the laws of inheritance based on Manusmriti.
It is assumed that she survives the fire because it is mentioned in The Austere Academy that she was arrested for bank robbery at Mulctuary Money Management by Lemony Snicket which is one of the reasons why Prufrock Preparatory School closed down. In the TV series, Mrs. Bass is portrayed by BJ Harrison. This version is an African-American woman and doesn't have messy hair.
Mr. Mackey (voiced by Trey Parker) is the school guidance counselor. He has a disproportionately large head and mumbles "M'kay" into most sentences. He speaks with a Southern accent, and he is believed to be from Louisiana. It is assumed he is at least 40 years old (he once said he had sex at 19 and that it has been about 21 years since).
When affixed to a Jewish family, the surname "Geier" is thought by some to have a slightly different meaning. The Yiddish word Geyer means "peddler", and it is assumed that when last names became mandatory in Europe, the surname Geier was imposed upon Jewish peasants as a deprecatory label connoting a scheming merchant who takes advantage of the cupidity of others, i.e., a "vulture".
The Mediators invite the humans to send a party to Mote Prime. After some debate, the invitation is accepted. Each person in this group acquires a "Fyunch(click)", a Mediator who studies their human subject and tries to learn how to think like them. Back on MacArthur, the Watchmakers escape, and although it is assumed they have died, they have actually been breeding furiously out of sight.
It is assumed that they also grew the typical Neolithic crops, e.g. cereals and legumes, but no archaeobotanical evidence has been recovered from Lodian sites to confirm this. Sites with Lodian material include Jericho, Lod, Tel Megiddo, Ghrubba, Teluliot Batashi, Tel Lachish, Tel Ali, Abu Zurayq, Wadi Shueib, Dhra′, Khirbet ed-Dharih, Nizzanim, and En Esur. Very few burials have been found at Lodian sites.
"Deep in Earth" is a couplet, presumably part of an unfinished poem Poe was writing in 1847. In January of that year, Poe's wife Virginia had died in New York of tuberculosis. It is assumed that the poem was inspired by her death. It is difficult to discern, however, if Poe had intended the completed poem to be published or if it was personal.
It is assumed that the glosses were written by an Orthodox monk or clergyman, in order to facilitate the understanding of the Slavonic text. They were interesting because a Slavonic manuscript, probably copied in the seventeenth century, found by R. Constantinescu also in Moscow, reproduces them directly. Ion Gheție and Alexandru Mareș place the "Bogdan glosses" between the writings of ecclesiastical law, namely as original literary texts.
2: 2D neuronal map with a distributed activation pattern. Example: "neural spectrogram" (This auditory neural representation is speculative; see ACT model, below) In the ACT model (see below), it is assumed that an auditory state can be represented by a "neural spectrogram" (see Fig. 2) within an auditory state map. This auditory state map is assumed to be located in the auditory association cortex (see cerebral cortex).
As Romans conquered territory of Illyrian tribe Ardiaei, and so, Delmataes and their tribal union were last bastion of Illyrian freedom. The Dalmatae attacked Roman wards near Neretva, Greek merchant towns and the Roman friendly Illyrian tribe Daors. The Illyrians upgraded their settlements into strong forts and surrounded their capital with wreath of smaller forts. It is assumed that, during that time, 5,000 Dalmatae lived in Delminium.
Neither his place nor his date of birth are known. It is assumed that he was born circa 1510, most likely, in Moscow: he called himself a Muscovite even after his move to Lithuania, and in his afterword to the Lviv Apostle he named Moscow "our home, our fatherland and our kin". Щепкина М. В. Переводы предисловий и послесловий первопечатных книг. Послесловие Львовского Апостола 1574 г.
Using the (+)ssRNA genome originally used to infect the host, a dsRNA genome is synthesized. This new genome is then transcribed and replicated, producing viral mRNAs and new (+)ssRNA genomes. Virions are then assembled in the cytoplasm, and the virus is ready to be transferred to new cells. It is assumed that the viral movement protein P3N-PIPO mediates cell-to-cell transfer of the virions.
Let be an unknown, deterministic parameter, and let be a random variable, interpreted as a measurement of θ. Suppose the probability density function of X is given by p(x; θ). It is assumed that p(x; θ) is well-defined and that for all values of x and θ. Suppose δ(X) is an unbiased estimate of an arbitrary scalar function of θ, i.e.
They joined Washington's defense of New York City at Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Being away, he was not available when most of the signers placed their signatures on the Declaration of Independence on August 2, 1776. Since his signature did not appear on the printed copy that was authenticated on January 17, 1777, it is assumed that he signed after that date, possibly as late as 1781.
Marcus Cocceius Nerva was consul of the Roman Republic in 36 BC, together with Lucius Gellius Poplicola. His family were of Umbrian originSyme, pg. 200 and were supporters of Marcus Antonius, providing him with a number of generals and diplomats.Syme, pgs. 200 & 267 Nerva was Proquaestor pro praetore under Antonius in 41 BC, and it is assumed that he was with Lucius Antonius during the Perusine War.
Rome at the end of the second century BC still maintained the forms - if not the substance - of reciprocity in its dealings with Greek city-states. Since there was no reason for the Romans to single out Astypalaia for such formal courtesy, it is assumed that this treaty followed a standard formula used in treaties with other Greek city states, whose texts did not survive.
This forced Jabs into second place in order of takeoff, an act of insubordination and perceived as arrogant by Jabs. Schnaufer, who had received the German Cross in Gold () on 16 August 1943, flew his first operational mission with 12./NJG 1 on the night of 17/18 August 1943. Although uncertain, it is assumed that Handke was Schnaufer's radio and radar operator on this mission.
Very little is known about the diet of B. breviceps, however it is assumed to be primarily insectivorous. When studied in captivity, many specimens refuse food and die within a few days. However, some captive organisms have been shown to eat a variety of insects including crickets, moths and butterflies, and roaches. Overall, they tend to refuse other food sources such as fruits or seeds.
It is assumed that the epithet derives from the town of Ichnae but it has also been suggested that, since the meaning of Ἴχναι is "the one who tracks," a quality which is perfectly applicable for a goddess of justice, it could be that the toponym of Ichnae derives from the epithet.Himnos Homéricos. La Batracomiomaquia, p.78, nota 57 de Alberto Bernabé Pajares, Madrid: Gredos (2001), .
He was also lord of the manors of Matlask, Bessingham, Wickmere, Plumstead, Aldborough, and Baconsthorpe. His father also owned the manors of Egmere and Wighton and it is assumed that John was also lord at these places. John Wynter was a lawyer and worked in Royal administration, beginning seven years before King Richard II was overthrown. He served Richard for three terms as escheator.
Few details are known of Jacob van Utrecht's life. Research on this artist did not start before the end of 19th century. He was probably born in Utrecht, although it is not certain. It is assumed that he became a citizen of Antwerp around 1500 and he is recorded as a "free master craftsman" of the Guild of St Luke there from 1506 to 1512.
Humans emigrating to Mars, under this paradigm, are presumed to have an industry; it is assumed the planet will be a magnet for settlers as wage costs will be high. Because of the labor shortage on Mars and its subsequent high pay-scale, Martian civilization and the value placed upon each individual's productivity is proposed as a future engine of both technological and social advancement.
Though in order for the members to make an arrest they must seek permission through her. Her true job, and what she spends most of her time doing, is never clear. Her superior is Chevalier D'Autrice and her secretary is the number-crunching expert Mercredi. Later in the series when there are odd, potentially evil, goings on at the GOTT, it is assumed to be from her.
In 1834 Gasse retired with a pension; his exact date of death is not known. In addition to several other operas, Gasse composed mainly works for the violin. It is assumed that Gasse was the father of Edme-Hippolyte Gasse. The pupil of François-Joseph Fétis and Henri-Montan Berton taught solfège at the Conservatoire de Paris and died early on 11 January 1831.
The same holds for K cells but unlike M and P cells they also receive input from the extrastriate cortex. Axons arising from the superficial grey layer of the superior colliculus terminate in every K layer with the most ventral layers receiving the strongest input. Thus, it is assumed that the K layers are functionally related to the superior colliculus, e.g. reflexive control of eye movements.
The physical basis of the algorithm is the collision of molecules within a reaction vessel. It is assumed that collisions are frequent, but collisions with the proper orientation and energy are infrequent. Therefore, all reactions within the Gillespie framework must involve at most two molecules. Reactions involving three molecules are assumed to be extremely rare and are modeled as a sequence of binary reactions.
Haiden main hall The is a Shinto shrine and Buddhist Benten-dō located in the Showa ward of Nagoya, central Japan. The construction date of the shrine is not clear, it is assumed however that is appeared around 1000. The shrine underwent a number of reconstructions and renovations, the last one being in 1998. There is a pond with turtles that surround the shrine.
Gandoger did not explicitly give an etymology for the epithet cygnorum, but it is assumed to be from the Latin cygnorus ("swan"), in reference to the Swan River, from whence it was first collected. The current name of this variety arose in 2007, when Austin Mast and Kevin Thiele transferred Dryandra into Banksia; thus the variety's current full name is Banksia sessilis var. cygnorum (Gand.) A.R.Mast & K.R.Thiele.
Guillaume Courtois was born in Saint-Hippolyte, Doubs, in France as the son of the obscure painter Jean-Pierre Courtois. Very little is known about Guillaume’s youth but it is assumed he received his initial training from his father. The father and his sons went to Italy circa 1636 when Guillaume was still a child. They travelled to Milan, Bologna, Venice, Florence and Siena.
It is assumed that Amy has taken the drugs but in hospital Amy reveals that she has not. Jack decides to file for full custody of Amy, devastating Roxy. When Sam returns to Walford with their son Ricky (now played by Henri Charles), Jack refuses to have anything to do with him. However, at Peggy Mitchell's (Barbara Windsor) funeral, Jack decides to see Ricky and they bond.
Dan and Frank then turned to New York City. As they were already quite respected, it did not take long for them to gain notoriety in New York. They began performing at the Chatham Theater with a third performer named Pierce. It is assumed that Frank and Pierce danced to Dan's banjo accompaniment, which sometimes included vocal lines from one of the performers who wasn't dancing.
One round Stupa is present at Sirkap. It is one of the oldest Stupas in the Indian-Subcontinent. It is assumed that this Stupa was uprooted and thrown to its present location by a strong earthquake in the 1st century AD. When the new city was built later, the Stupa was kept by building a protecting wall around it. The round Stupa at Sirkap.
It is assumed soldiers were self-reliant, treating their own wounds and caring for other ailments encountered. They would also turn to civilians for help throughout the villages they would come across. This was considered a custom of the time, and was quite common for households to take in wounded soldiers and tend to them. As time progressed, there was an increase in care for the wounded as hospitals appeared.
Division into one to four compartments is common for dolmens, yet dolmen Nr. 1 with its six compartments is noted as a rare exception.Midgley (1992), p. 446 Common Neolithic funerary goods found in the dolmens of the region are tools, pottery, and amber pearls.Schmidt (2001), p. 10 It is assumed that the pots were filled with groceries, and that there were also other, long decomposed organic funerary goods.
In linguistics, Cartographic syntax, or simply Cartography, is a branch of syntax. The basic assumption of Cartographic syntax is that syntactic structures are built according to the same patterns in all languages of the world. It is assumed that all languages exhibit a richly articulated structure of hierarchical projections with specific meanings. Cartography belongs to the tradition of generative grammar and is regarded as a theory belonging to Minimalism.
If this gap falls within an acceptable range,(<10) then it is assumed that sodium, glucose, BUN are indeed the major dissolved ions and molecules in the serum. If, however, the calculated gap is above an acceptable range, then it is an indication that there is something else dissolved in the serum that is producing an osmol gap, which can be a major clue in determining what is ailing the patient.
It has been shown that money laundering has an impact on the financial behavior and macroeconomic performance of the industrialized countries. In these countries the macroeconomic consequences of money laundering are transmitted through several channels. Thus, money laundering complicates the formulation of economic policies. It is assumed that the proceeds of criminal activities are laundered by means of the notes and coins in circulation of the monetary substitutes.
It is assumed that in Gin Drinkers Bay Park or Kwai Chung Park near Pillar Island that the area is subject to landfill gas produced deep in the ground even though it is covered with earthen hills. It remains closed due to unsafe levels of landfill gas. Gin Drinkers Bay is known for the Gin Drinkers Line, which formed a defensive line against the Japanese invasion in 1941.
Fluids are composed of molecules that collide with one another and solid objects. However, the continuum assumption assumes that fluids are continuous, rather than discrete. Consequently, it is assumed that properties such as density, pressure, temperature, and flow velocity are well-defined at infinitesimally small points in space and vary continuously from one point to another. The fact that the fluid is made up of discrete molecules is ignored.
Chesapecten lived on the seabed in coastal waters ranging in depth from a few feet to 130 feet. When not moving, it is assumed to have rested its flatter right valve on the seafloor. It is very likely that Chesapecten could move suddenly to escape a predator by flapping its valves and using the resulting jet propulsion, in a manner similar to that of almost all living scallops.
Ouren Castle was founded approximately during the 11th or 12th century. For the first time it was mentioned in 1095 in connection with one of the lords of Ouren, Rycardis de Hunrin. It is assumed to be (or to have been) endemic to the densely forested Mbhashe River area of the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Searches subsequent to its discovery however failed to yield any trace of it. Only three female specimens have ever been collected, all by Colonel James Henry Bowker, in 1863-64.
Figure 1 Abfraction lesions will generally occur in the region on the tooth where the greatest tensile stress is located. In statements such as these there is no comment on whether the lesions occur above or below the CEJ. One theory suggests that the abfraction lesions will only form above the CEJ. However, it is assumed that the abfraction lesions will occur anywhere in the cervical areas of affected teeth.
Here, Oswiu's offer of treasure is accepted, and is associated with the siege of a place named Iudeu. It is assumed that roughly 600,000 to as high as 2 million Afghans may have been killed during the various 1979–2001 wars.
Most dictionaries follow Hoffman, Etymologisches Wörterbuch des Griechischen, in making some form of the word a loan from a pre-Greek language of Asia Minor, related to Phrygian. The first use of Prunus as a genus name was by Carl Linnaeus in Hortus Cliffortianus of 1737, which went on to become Species Plantarum. In the latter, Linnaeus attributes the word to "Varr.", who it is assumed must be Marcus Terentius Varro.

In the first step, action triggers are held active in working memory that fit the respective task and are able to elicit a specific motor response. Action triggers are established in the instruction and practice phase of the experiment.

It is assumed that this increases the purchase of unlicensed DVDs.

If an item exceeds the threshold then it is in a discrete memory state. If an item does not exceed the threshold then it is not remembered, but it may still be endorsed as old on the basis of a random guess.
