Clive Hunt (born 31 May 1952 in Linstead, St. Catherine, Jamaica) is a Jamaican reggae multi-instrumentist, arranger, composer and producer.

She is married to multi-instrumentist band player Duani, who is also her producer. She has been dubbed as the "hottest singer of the moment" by the weekly Veja, one of the main Brazilian newsmagazines.

On July 13, the band released their fifth studio album called "Revanche". The album mixes heavy and fast songs ("Revanche", "Relato De Um Homem de Bom Coração") and pop ballads ("Não Leve a Mal", "Quando Crescer"). The album lyrics are mostly about love and obstacles in life. On August 25, the bassist Tavares won the "Best Instrumentist Award" in the Multishow Brazilian Music Awards.

Villaputzu ( or ) is a municipality in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region and island of Sardinia, located about northeast of the Sardinian capital Cagliari. It is located in a short plain at the mouth of the Flumendosa river, next to the Sarrabus hill. The village of Villaputzu is a part of the historic region of Sarrabus, whose municipalities are Villaputzu, Muravera, San Vito and Castiadas. Villaputzu was the birthplace of launeddas instrumentist Efisio Melis.

The third group were up to twelve choristers, modelled on the group of twelve choristers employed in the cathedral at Liège. These boys were educated from a very young age (sometimes only six years when starting) in a dedicated room above the ambulatory. The best of them stayed some time after voice change, as instrumentist, or attending a position as vicar or adult musician.

The Churchfitters are an English folk group. They were founded in 1978 by singer/songwriter Anthony McCartan from Belfast and multi-instrumentist Geoff Coombs from Essex (later a founding member of the band Kip Keano), after a band they had previously both toured with collapsed. Rosie Short joined soon after its formation having previously been playing in a London-based traditional Irish outfit. During the years that followed, the group frequently changed its line-up, as well as having many guest performers including reed maker Chris Apps.

In March 1971 he became a member of Les Luthiers, replacing Marcos Mundstock as presenter as well as performer on several both formal and informal instruments. As a composer, his first work for the group was a jazz piece for informal instruments: Tristezas del Manuela (Manuela´s Blues). Upon Mundstock`s return in 1972, Acher was asked to stay as actor, composer, arranger and multi-instrumentist. He was the motor behind the group´s collective format, and in the use of amplification with a view to the new, larger venues in which they were eventually to play.

In 1995, Juncosa started a long period of musical inactivity when she worked in Europe as a computer programmer and had personal problems before eventually coming back to the US. In 2009, Juncosa decided that she wanted to play guitar again and formed a new band with Legal Weapon member Steve Reed. She also played in the Cooling System project, with multi-instrumentist Azalia Snail. She began working on a new album in 2013, along with Steve Reed on bass and on drums Joe Berardi, a long-time Los Angeles drummer known for his work with the Fibonaccis, Stan Ridgway and others. The album "Wanna Gotta" was released on her own Ringent Records in 2015.

Self-taught, he began his studies in 1974. He was a member of the band Colá in 1976, but then went to Portugal where he studied with Fernando Lopes Graça and later to France to pursue his musical education with Henri-Claude Fantapié. In 1979 he recorded his first LP. He returned to Cape Verde, and it is there that he has created most of his work as a composer and instrumentist, but also as musicologist and producer, he organized and founded the Baía das Gatas Music Festival along with his friends in 1984, the first music festival in the nation. He released more albums including Quinto Mundo (1989), Eternal Cycle (1995), Memórias Atlânticas (Memories from the Atlantic) (1998) and Lunário Perpétio (2001).

Born in Metz (Moselle department), Cymerman dedicated himself very early to music and began his training in a provincial conservatory before finishing it at the Conservatoire de Paris where he studied with Pierre Sancan. After winning several national and international competitions, including the second grand prize at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition, Cymerman continued his studies at Indiana University with György Sebők. Appreciated by President Georges Pompidou, Cymerman began a brilliant career, as concertist, chamber music instrumentist, but also as soloist with the Orchestre de Radio France, the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire, the Orchestre national d'Île-de-France, the Orchestre Symphonique de Limoges, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, as well as that of Indianapolis. He is regularly invited to perform and give masterclasses in major festivals in France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Japan and Israel.
