So far ten rounds of talks were held at the European External Action Service office in Brussels. Baroness Ashton, the EU High Representative, had been chairing talks for two years, followed by Federica Mogherini. Normalization of relations with neighbouring states is a key precondition for states wishing to join the EU; the Brussels Agreement brought Serbia close to EU accession talks and Kosovo to initialling a Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA). The SAA was signed by HR Mogherini and PM Mustafa in October 2015.

ZG 76 reported no losses on 26 August; ZG 76 reported one severely damaged and ZG 26 lost three over Chelmsford. ZG 76's last major operation of the month occurred on 30 August. Two of its aircraft were lost and one damaged. While escorting Do 17s in the vicinity of RAF Manston, No. 85 and No. 111 Squadron intercepted the German formation by chance after initialling being vectored to investigate an unknown formation—which transpired to be Blenheims from No. 25 Squadron RAF.

New York Postmaster's Provisionals exist in a welter of collectible varieties which differ widely in value on the philatelic market. Concerned about counterfeit stamps, the postmaster had decided to initial each stamp, with the help of his assistants, which ultimately produced several possible variations on the marking of the stamps. In the Scott catalogue, used copies bearing the most common form of the postmaster's brother Alonzo Castle Monson's "ACM" initialling are valued at $500, but this sum rises for the "ACM" examples in which the letters are connected, or are separated by periods. Unsigned copies fetch still more.

On Thursday or any day when a student has a practical PDHPE lesson, a sports uniform is an optional uniform. The sports uniform consists of a white polo shirt with the college crest, blue shorts or long black tracksuits with college initialling, white socks with college colours and lace up running shoes. If representing the college in a swimming competition of any sort, a college navy blue swimsuit and cap is worn. The college states that the college uniform can be worn in place of the college sports uniform but not a combination of both uniforms and also that the college jumper may not be worn with the sports uniform.

Slobodan Milošević, Alija Izetbegović, and Franjo Tuđman initialling the Dayton Agreement at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio on 21 November 1995 The Washington Agreement in March 1994 ended the Croat-Bosniak War and divided the combined ARBiH and HVO territory into ten autonomous cantons, establishing the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In August 1995, following the Srebrenica massacre and the 2nd Markale massacre, NATO launched an intensive bombing campaign which destroyed Bosnian Serb command and control system. This allowed the Croatian and Bosniak forces to overrun many Serb-held areas of the country, producing a roughly 50/50 split of the territory between the two sides. The offensive came to a halt not far from the de facto Serb capital of Banja Luka.

United Nations Security Council resolution 1022, adopted on 22 November 1995, after recalling all resolutions on the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia, the Council suspended measures in previous resolutions related to the former Yugoslavia. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro were praised for their participation in peace talks in the United States and the initialling of the General Framework Agreement. The parties had also agreed to help with the search for two French pilots who had gone missing in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to ensure their safe return. The importance of co-operation with the International Conference on the Former Yugoslavia was stressed. Acting under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, measures imposed in resolutions 757 (1992), 787 (1992), 820 (1993), 942 (1994), 943 (1994), 988 (1995), 992 (1995), 1003 (1995) and 1015 (1995) were suspended with immediate effect.

Georgian flag in front of Council of Europe To enhance their relationship, the EU and Georgia began negotiating an Association Agreement (AA) and a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement. In November 2012, EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule stated that the AA negotiations could be finalized by November 2013. In February 2013, Tamar Beruchachvili, the Deputy State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Georgia, stated that Georgia had no plans to join the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, which Fule has warned Ukraine would be incompatible with the agreements with the EU. A ceremony on the initialling of the AA by the Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton was held at the Eastern Partnership summit on 29 November 2013. It was formally signed on 27 June 2014, and had to be ratified by the EU, Euratom, their member states and Georgia.
