However, in 1207 he again paid a fine, of 40 ounces of gold, not to be impleaded by Geoffrey de Cholsey, and it was made known that King John wished William de Carrio "to remain in peace thereof". On May 18, Larry Gadon filed a motion for consolidation against the ABS-CBN's temporary restraining order, stating that it violates the hiearchy of the courts and the case must be filed at the . An essoin was taken at the Church of St. Michael in Elfael, on 1 December 1280, from William de Glanvill, attorney of the Earl of Norfolk, against William Devereux in a plea of land, by Richard de Branford. On 28 January 1282 Devereux presented his claim against Roger Bigod for the half knight's fee in Runston and the vill of St. Peter in Netherwent as his right by descent as the son and heir of the William Devereux who was seised of the property in the time of King Henry III.
