Comparative Anatomy focuses primarily on word-play and themes relating specifically to animals, often with an odd, absurdist bent. Songs often are bizarre plays on words that incorporate the particular animals they are about. On their Mammalia album, for example, 'My Voice is Horses' is a play on someone having a hoarse voice, but in essence makes no sense because of the spelling and plural form of the noun used. They're known for its odd humor, which relies heavily on absurdist and quasi-dadaist dialogs with the crowd and symbolism focusing totally on animals.

The involvement of the laryngotracheobronchial cartilages may be severe and life-threatening; it causes one-third of all deaths among persons with RP. Laryngeal chondritis is manifested as pain above the thyroid gland and, more importantly, as dysphonia with a hoarse voice or transient aphonia. Because this disease is relapsing, recurrent laryngeal inflammation may result in laryngomalacia or permanent laryngeal stenosis with inspiratory dyspnea that may require emergency tracheotomy as a temporary or permanent measure.

They were taken to East Stonehouse, Plymouth where Hall was treated by Dr. Henry Spry (a surgeon at Plymouth) who tended to the man's burns and other injuries. Just as Annibale is preparing for his wedding night with Serafina, the doorbell rings, revealing Enrico disguised as a patient in need of medicine. He delays the doctor’s first night in his marriage bed by telling long stories and messing with the apartment. While Annibale is distracted, Enrico leaves a threatening message in Serafina’s door. He then leaves only to return soon after as a singer with a hoarse voice. As Annibale’s frustration grows, Enrico continues to find absurd reasons to delay the doctor’s sleep. He departs and returns once more, this time as a blind man demanding a complex medicine for his sick “wife.” Annibale tries to usher him out and return to Serafina, but it is too late. Dawn has arrived, and he must leave to oversee his aunt’s will in Rome.

Antonio Iranzo (4 May 1930 – 7 July 2003) was a Spanish film actor in 77 feature films. He gained popularity for his acting in Island of the Damned and Cut - Throats Nine. Iranzo began his artistic career in the theater, while working as a radio announcer. Later he joined the Nuria Espert Company and made his film debut in 1963 with La chica del auto-stop directed by Miguel Lluch. His physique and hoarse voice helped him get the chance to play the supporting character in various films including Mario Camus The Legend of Mayor of Zalamea (1973), Gonzalo Suárez's The Regent (1974), Narciso Ibáñez Serrador's Who Can Kill a Child? (1975), Hidden Pleasures (1977), The tobacconist of Vallecas (1986) (the latter two by Eloy de la Iglesia), the TV miniseries Riders of the Dawn (1990) and Vicente Aranda's Libertarias (1996).

In 1968, Arkady was discharged from the Soviet army, where he had served as lieutenant for a year in a helicopter regiment not far from Leningrad. Having demobilized, the singer learned that during the period of his mandatory service, his popularity as a singer had grown considerably. He then received an invitation from producer Sergei Maklakov. Arkady performed his songs throughout an entire evening at Maklakov's residence, resulting in 500 meters of recordings on the now outdated reel-to-reel tape recorder that were quickly disseminated throughout the entire Soviet Union and eventually gave rise to the popularity of the performer's prison songs. It was with great pleasure that music lovers all over the country listened to the singer's slightly hoarse voice performing such revived songs as Roast Chicken, School of Ballet Dance, I Lived in Noisy Odessa, Mother, I’m In Love With A Pilot, Tram #10 Passed By, and many others.

The lyrics to the song are written in an over-simplified form of English, with a few lines in Italian, as a satirical list of stereotypical Italian traditions during the Christmas holiday period. Elio sings three lines in the second verse, while the choruses are sung by Romani with the rest of the band – joined, on the final chorus, by various DJs and hosts from Radio Deejay (specifically uncredited), who perform in the style of a gospel choir, with additional percussion and handclaps.
