Tonkam is a prominent French publisher of manga and was one of the first publishers of manga in French, issuing its first titles in 1994. It was founded by Sylvie Chang and Dominique Véret with the financial assistance of a Parisian bookseller, Yu-Chi Chang. The company had some legal problems when it published New Angel; because of its hentai content was forced to retire the product from the market. In 1996, Tonkam entered into a venture with the Belgian publisher Ypnos to publish Korean manhwa, but the experience was short-lived as Ypnos closed soon after.

Fakku was created in December 2006 by Jacob Grady while he was studying Computer Science in Massachusetts. Child pornography laws in Japan outlaw child pornography. The production, sale, distribution, and commercialization of child pornography is illegal under Article 7 of the Act on Punishment of Activities Relating to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography, and the Protection of Children and is punishable by a maximum penalty of five years in prison and/or a fine of ¥5,000,000. Possession of child pornography with any intent of distribution and sale is also illegal. Manga artists and anime directors have argued that it is dangerous to try to define child pornography when it comes to artwork, drawings, and animation when regarding hentai due to it being highly ambiguous, and have cited freedom of expression to prevent it from being abused.

Misshitsu is a 144-page paperback hentai manga anthology published in May 2002 by Shōbunkan, a midsize erotic manga publisher founded in 1993 by Motonori Kishi. The collection exclusively consists of eight manga by Yūji Suwa, who authored the works under the pen name . , the manga that would become the primary subject of the obscenity indictments, originally appeared in the August 2001 edition of Shōbunkan's monthly magazine Himedorobō, which had a circulation of approximately 45,000. In August 2002, a father in Tokyo's 17th district found a copy of Himedorobō Best Collection in his teenage son's room.

Ataru also appears to have a good knowledge of the human body and its nerve points; in "The Final Chapter" movie, when Carla attempted to use her trademark bazooka, Ataru 'poked' her on a part of her back and caused her to spasm and lose control of her weapon, firing it randomly. In "Beautiful Dreamer", Ataru was able to escape Mujaki's dream trap where the priestess Sakura failed. In the sixth feature, "Always, My Darling", Ataru, powered by his lust, was able to pass traps similar to the ones of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade through the use of a lecherous 6th sense. Also to be noted from this movie is his ability to draw out his h-chi/h-ki (hentai chi/ki) to create a powerful lust aura similar to that of Happosai from Ranma ½.

In a hentai parody of Tokyo Mew Mew, a team of magical girls named after various desserts work as waitresses at the maid café Alamode, which is a front for the Global Defense Organization, dedicated to fighting an alien invasion of rapist monsters. Their founder's son, Shuta, is assigned to manage the café while his father is away, and the girls discover that Shuta has the ability to give them a power-up by having sex with them. The team consists of pure-hearted heroine Pudding, short-tempered lesbian newcomer Tiramisu, shy bespectacled Parfait, hyperactive Jelly, and flat-chested kimono-wearing Panna Cotta. The girls are powered by people's happiness (hence the waitressing day-jobs), and when Shuta makes the girls extra happy (via sex), they gain an Angel Blade-style “outfit,” functional wings, and a burst of extra power.

The ruling was upheld in 1969 at the Tokyo High Court, which deemed that the film was obscene but acquitted the pair on the basis of the approval the film had received from Eirin. The rulings were followed in 1972 by a series of prosecutions against Nikkatsu's Roman Porno film series, which similarly ended in acquittals of Nikkatsu employees in 1978 and 1980 on the basis of Eirin approvals. In January 2004, Yūji Suwa, Motonori Kishi, and Kōichi Takada were prosecuted for producing and distributing the hentai manga anthology Misshitsu, in the first manga-related obscenity trial in Japan. Police reports found the depictions of "genitalia and scenes of sexual intercourse" within the manga to have been "drawn in detail and realistically," and that the censor bars meant to obscure genitalia and sexual penetration were "less conservative" than usual.

On November 13, 2011, Yano began working regularly for the DDT Pro-Wrestling promotion, when he teamed with Antonio Honda and Yasu Urano to defeat Hoshitango, Mikami and Tomomitsu Matsunaga in a six-man tag team match. Following the event, Honda announced that the three men, along with Yuji Hino, had formed a stable named "Crying Wolf". All four members of Crying Wolf remained undefeated for the rest of the year, with Yano ending his year by pinning Michael Nakazawa on December 31 in a tag team match, where he and Antonio Honda defeated Do Hentai Dan (Nakazawa and Hikaru Sato). Crying Wolf's win streak ended at the first event of 2012 on January 8, when the four members were defeated in an eight-man tag team match by Daisuke Sasaki, Keisuke Ishii, Masa Takanashi and Shigehiro Irie.

According to the Kokusho Sōmokuroku (Iwanami Shoten) this is considered to be a gesaku author from the latter half of the Edo period, . It can be said that this is a kind of hundred-tale kaidan (ghost story) book popular in the Edo period, as "100 Tales" is part of the title, but rather than being tales with story titles, yōkai names are printed with illustrations of yōkai, so it could be said that this work is a fusion of kaidan book and picture book. This book is also known by the title Tōsanjin Yawa because the title on the first page of each volume is "Tōsanjin Yawa, Volume [#]." Scholar of Japanese manners and customs Ema Tsutomu (Nihon Yōkai Henka-shi, 1923) and folklorist Fujisawa Morihiko (Hentai Densetsu-shi, 1926), as well as magazines at that time, introduced this book by the name Tōsanjin Yawa, and so this title became famous.

After the dissolution of Raiz, three of its members, singer Javier Compiano, drummer Gonzalo Espejo and guitarist Leandro Zunni join Diego Oviedo (former Hentai) to form Plan 4. The band officially edited an EP containing 6 tracks of which 3 were their own songs: "Destino" (Destiny), "Libre" (Free) and "El Principio O El Fin" (The Beginning Or The End). The EP also contains a live version of "Destino" and "Libre" as well as the videoclip for "Destino" Plan 4 has also taken part on the first ever Latin American tribute to Black Sabbath, titled "Sabbath Crosses" contributing with the song "TV Crimes". They have also recorded "Somebody Put Something In My Drink" for a double CD tribute to The Ramones In August 2005, Plan 4 edited their first album, titled "Cambio De Piel" (Change Of Skin), produced by "Heaven Records" and "Dias De Garage".

Daisuke Sato, who has previously worked on various military genre games and manga, which include Imperial Guards, wrote the story which uses the perspective of Japanese high school students and refers to classic zombie apocalypse movies such as Dawn of the Dead. Character design was done by manga artist Shōji Satō whose previous work was mostly self-published titles in the adult genre, and this was his first major non-hentai title. Masayoshi Tanaka, who also did Ano Hana, Toradora and later Waiting in the Summer, served as the Chief Animation Director and Character Designer for the anime adaptation. Series Director Tetsurō Araki, who previously directed Death Note and Black Lagoon, mentioned in a 2010 Dragon Age interview, that he wanted to fill in the anime with many jiggling breast scenes, and that he was aiming for something he would have bought himself in middle school.

He wrestled for promotions including the Union of Independent Professional Wrestlers, where he defeated Jerry Lynn to win the vacant UIPW Championship on October 11, 2003. He formed a regular tag team with Piscura (who wrestled as Josh Prohibition) known as Youthanazia, and the pair won Cleveland All-Pro Wrestling (CAPW)'s North American Tag Team Championship twice, Xtreme Pro Wrestling's World Tag Team Championship twice, the International Wrestling Cartel's Tag Team Championship twice, and the NWA Upstate Tag Team Championship once. M-Dogg 20 also won the CAPW Junior Heavyweight Championship on November 9, 2003, by defeating H8 Pac. Youthanzia also wrestled for the Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South and Jersey All Pro Wrestling in 2004. In 2006 he made his debut for Hawaii-based promotion Action Zone Wrestling at their one-year anniversary show in a match against another indy star in Super Hentai in 2006.

Also during the event, Kenta Kobashi made an appearance, publicly giving his blessing to the newest incarnation of Burning, while also announcing that he was joining AJPW following his retirement match as the new Pacific Wrestling Federation (PWF) chairman. On April 7, Aoki and Suzuki defeated Jounetsu Hentai Baka (Hikaru Sato and Hiroshi Yamato) in the finals to win the 2013 Junior Hyper Tag League and earn another shot at the All Asia Tag Team Championship. This led to a rematch between Aoki and Suzuki and the Junior Stars on April 25, where Burning took home its third title. Burning's domination led to a storyline, where even rivals such as Suwama and Takao Omori came together to rally AJPW in its war with the stable. Burning continued its winning ways on April 29, when Jun Akiyama won the 2013 Champion Carnival, being victorious in the finals over Kai, who had defeated Go Shiozaki in his semifinal match.

Intending to be a manga artist from his childhood days, majored in physics in college as preparation to draw science fiction works, and also to learn the technology of performance and imaging, went on to graduate school to major in image technology. In 1993, while still enrolled, debuted in a Korean girls manhwa magazine. Since then, he gained popularity releasing a number of works and publishing books on how to draw manga targeting a wide range of reader. In 2004 he stepped into the world of Japanese manga. His “Ultimate Space Emperor Caesar”, serialized in Monthly “Comic Gum”, was his first tankōbon in Japan. In 2005, 9 out of 11 of Boichi’s hentai one-shot serialized in the Comic Aun were reunited under the volume titled “Lover in Winter”. In 2006, he released two science fiction one- shot, “Hotel” and “Present” which, in 2008, were compiled in a volume titled Hotel along the other one-shots “It was all for the tuna”, “Stephanos” and “Diadem”. 2006 is the year of Boichi’s first serialized manga: “Sun Ken Rock” in the bi-weekly magazine Young King.
