However, since the common ground was for the benefit of the land tenants of the estate and the Hedgers by then had a controlling interest in the land, the matter was dropped. After the tavern had been demolished the Hedgers continued to build houses on the land although this required paying a forfeit for breach of covenant.

Mayhem performing live in 2012. Mayhem is a Norwegian black metal band from Oslo. Formed in 1984, the group originally featured guitarist and lead vocalist Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth (originally known as "Destructor"), bassist and second vocalist Jørn "Necrobutcher" Stubberud and drummer Kjetil Manheim. The band's current lineup includes Necrobutcher (who rejoined in 1995 after originally leaving in 1991), drummer Jan Axel "Hellhammer" Blomberg (since 1988), vocalist Attila Csihar (first from 1992 to 1993, and since 2004), and guitarists Morten Bergeton "Teloch" Iversen (since 2011) and Charles "Ghul" Hedger (since 2012).

In 2011 came her second books of essays, "Folkelesnad", on Norwegian magazines. In 2013 she published the highly acclaimed novel "Fugletribunalet" ("The Bird Tribunal"), which has been released in eleven countries, including Great Britain, Germany and France. The novel has been adapted for theatre, and played for over two years at Det norske teatret. It is currently being made into a film. The English translation, by Rosie Hedger, was the first translated novel to be part of the «Fresh Talent»-program of booksellers WHSmith, and is nominated for the International Dublin Literary Award for 2018.

Kaufman worked in trading, research and advisory functions at major commercial banks, securities houses, central banks, and hedge funds. After leaving the aerospace industry, Kaufman became a partner in an Illinois-based farm management company where, as a commercial hedger, he developed expertise in trading commodity futures markets. Catts was born at Wagga Wagga, New South Wales to joiner and grocer James Catts and Amy, née Hedger. He lived with his paternal grandfather at Stanmore as a child, being educated until the age of 13 at Macdonaldtown Public School. In 1894 the Catts family began a bakery in Forbes, which young James helped to run. At the age of 17, he became the secretary of the Farmers and Settlers' and the Progress associations at Forbes, and was general secretary of the United Progress Association of New South wales from 1900–03.

Its first act was to establish a Memorial Book in 1974, displayed in a cabinet sitting on part of the former pulpit of Haberfield Methodist Church. Imperial Vengeance are an English heavy metal band, from Colchester, Essex, England, formed in 2007 by former Cradle of Filth guitarist C. Edward Alexander (b. Charles Edward Alexander Hedger, 18 September 1980, Colchester, Essex/ Guitars, Vocals, Orchestration), and David Bryan (Bass, Lyrics). The band's musical style embraces aspects of symphonic black metal and other extreme metal genres, with lyrical themes and imagery largely influenced by the British Empire period. After issuing a self-released four-track EP in early 2008 entitled "Death: August and Royal" the band signed a deal with Candlelight Records, and released their debut album "At The Going Down Of The Sun" in July 2009.

Helliar has made guest appearances on Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Loft Live, Rove, The Morning Show, Studio 10, Show Me the Movie!, Celebrity Name Game, All Star Family Feud, Have You Been Paying Attention? and Hughesy, We Have a Problem. In 1997, Helliar became a regular stand-up comic on RMITV's weekly variety show Under Melbourne Tonight broadcast on C31 Melbourne, hosted by Stephen Hall and Vincent Hedger. In 1998, Helliar became a regular on Melbourne community television RMITV's weekly variety show The Loft Live broadcast on C31 Melbourne, hosted by Rove McManus and including other well known Melbourne comedians such as Dave Hughes, Kim Hope, and Dave Callan.

In 2010 Scurr, White and Hedger conducted a second study on the effect of breast support on the movement of the breast during the running gait cycle. The aim of this study was to investigate the multi-directional breast displacement, velocity, and acceleration with and without breast support during running and also to establish the correlation with breast comfort. Fifteen women who wore D cup sized bras and regularly participated in exercise took part. Using treadmill running in three different bra conditions (no bra, T-shirt bra, and sports bra), they concluded that breast displacement and velocity were reduced as breast support increased and that no particular direction of breast movement showed a stronger relationship to breast pain.

Statements of imminent touring plans were announced on the band's web page a few weeks after their final dates with Blasphemer. In October 2008, Krister Dreyer ("Morfeus") of Dimension F3H and Limbonic Art joined the group as touring guitarist for their upcoming South America Fucking Armageddon tour. The band toured through late 2008 and 2009 with this lineup, prior to announcing Summer 2009 dates with Silmaeth, a French musician, as a second touring guitar. In November 2009, the band was arrested in Tilburg, Netherlands, after destroying a hotel room while on tour. Norwegian guitarist Teloch of Nidingr replaced Silmaeth, and British guitarist Charles Hedger (aka Ghul) of Imperial Vengeance replaced Morfeus, in 2011 and 2012.

This peculiarity had been made light of by a couple of notable hosts on Rogers Sportsnet. Bob McCown, a radio host on Rogers-owned The Fan 590, had constantly commented on his show Prime Time Sports (a simulcast of his radio show on The Fan 590) that Sportsnet executives throw bottles across the street at the TSN studios. In addition, Sportsnet Connected anchor Sean McCormick had openly stated on-air that he drives to work with his wife, Jennifer Hedger, who anchors SportsCentre on TSN. This arrangement ended on April 30, 2008, when Rogers Sportsnet moved broadcast operations from the Agincourt complex to a new studio in the Rogers Building, a cluster of buildings in the Mount Pleasant-Jarvis Street area of Downtown Toronto.

Hedger was the Democratic candidate for North Dakota secretary of state in the 2006 general election, which she lost to the incumbent, Republican Alvin Jaeger. While flattered to have been asked, Schultz said he had to decline in that he would have been forced to give up his nightly television program on MSNBC The Ed Show as well as his daily progressive national radio show, The Ed Schultz Show, in order to run. Also, Federal Communications Commission regulations decree that equal and free air time would have had to be given to whomever Schultz's opponents would have been in the election in order to allow them to respond to anything that Schultz would have said about them on his programs.

Interior of the Long Room of the Dog and Duck, probably 1789 Mrs Elizabeth Hedger, who had been a barmaid, was granted a lease on the tavern and its gardens in 1773, and three years later her son James was promised the lease of all the Bridge House Estate land at St George's Fields on condition that the Dog and Duck itself was repaired. In fact they extended the building with leaded domes, a music gallery and, outside, a bowling green. As the spa lost trade they concentrated more and more on amusements and attractions, which led to the place developing a poor reputation with the authorities. With the lease formally established in 1785 they became very wealthy and started speculative building in the grounds.

From 1837 Robert Ramsay Mackenzie held an interest in a number of New England runs, but resided in Sydney, leaving his New England properties in the hands of managers. Sometime prior to 1844 Mackenzie either established or acquired an interest in Ballandean. Documents and notices pertaining to Mackenzie's bankruptcy, declared in April 1844, indicate that he held an interest in and 400 head of cattle running on Ballandean under the charge of Mr HH Nicol. Mackenzie later recovered his financial position and became a prominent Queensland politician, but his association with Ballandean appears to have concluded in 1844. In November 1845 Henry Hedger Nicol, who had been managing Ballandean for Mackenzie, was granted a licence to depasture stock on Ballandean and in 1851 he was granted an official lease.

Later on there were four more additions to the family: Harold, Catherine (Kitty), Ellen and Julian. In 1844 Dr Stephens published in London The Book of the Farm: Detailing the Labours of the Farmer, Farm-steward, Ploughman, Shepherd, Hedger, Cattle-man, Field-worker, and Dairy-maid, a standard work that has provided much useful information for agricultural historians, and formed the basis of a BBC Two documentary Victorian Farm in 2009. In 1846 the doctor and his family, tired of the noise and squalor of the city, moved six miles north to the leafy village of Finchley, where they acquired a spacious home, Grove House, with outhouses and several fields adjoining Ballards Lane. The older part of the rambling house was torn down and redeveloped and there were stables for horses and a variety of other animals.

Over the years, many distinguished names have played for East Sydney, including Les Darcy (the champion boxer), Victor Trumper (the famous cricketer and who Trumper Park in Paddington is named after), and Sam Loxton (former Australian cricket selector, and leading Easts' goal kicker during the 1945 season). Also, the Co-Founder of the VFL, L.W. Hedger, was a prominent Easts' player during the 19th centenary. A number of prominent Australians also played junior footy with Easts, including Kevin Ashley and Kevin Junee (who both went on to play rugby league for Australia). Our club has been blessed with a number of loyal and dedicated people over the years, including some current Life Members Jack & Joy Dean, Kevin & Kay Ryan, Michael 'Raffles' Blaumschein, and Paul Constance (who came to the club in 1974, from Carlton), not to mention the contribution from the UNSW people, like Phillip Holmes, Ken Fowlie, and others.

Timon (voiced by Nathan Lane in the films and the TV series Timon & Pumbaa, Quinton Flynn in earlier episodes of the TV series Timon & Pumbaaa, Kevin Schon in both later episodes of the TV series Timon & Pumbaa and The Lion Guard, Bruce Lanoil in the video games, Billy Eichner in the 2019 film) and Pumbaa (voiced by Ernie Sabella in the films, TV series Timon & Pumbaa, and The Lion Guard, Leslie Hedger in Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure, Seth Rogen in the 2019 film) are a meerkat and common warthog duo; Timon being a wise-cracking, yet loyal friend, while Pumbaa is gluttonous, yet brave. When they first meet Simba in The Lion King, they save an unconscious Simba from a flock of vultures. They take him in and bring him to their home in an oasis. Later, after Simba grows up and returns to the Pride Lands to battle Scar, they help Simba stop Scar's tyrannical reign and the two become Simba's royal advisors.
