Cavett noted that Mailer said that he received more mail about this episode than for anything else in his career.

Since the 16th century, the Portuguese bought, sold, traded, and transported African peoples. A disqualification (abbreviated DQ) is a term used when a bout is stopped short of knockout or judges' decision because, intentionally, one or both contestants have repeatedly or flagrantly fouled an opponent or violated other rules. The disqualified boxer automatically loses the bout to the opponent. If both are disqualified, (termed a double disqualification) the result is usually declared a no contest regardless of round. Most disqualifications happen for repeated intentional fouling such as headbutting, low blows, rabbit punches, biting and the like.
French football player Zinedine Zidane as he appears in the episode, headbutting an old lady as part of her birthday telegram. Additionally, the recruitment video is set to the Def Leppard song "Pour Some Sugar On Me".
The immense strength and rowdiness of these pictsies means that they will fight anything, and they have a particular fondness for headbutting creatures far larger than themselves. In a good fight, a Feegle will take on all comers, including his fellow Feegles (or, in their absence, themselves), with such enthusiasm that makes missing someone hazardous ("Crivens! I kicked meself in ma ain heid!"). Some clans have an apparently superstitious fear of their names being written lest they appear on unwelcome legal documents.

Early fighting had no written rules. There were no weight divisions or round limits and no referee resulting in very chaotic fights. An early article on boxing was published in Nottingham, 1713, by Sir Thomas Parkyns, a successful Wrestler from Bunny, Nottinghamshire, who had practised the techniques he described. The article, a single page in his manual of wrestling and fencing, Progymnasmata: The inn-play, or Cornish-hugg wrestler, described a system of headbutting, punching, eye-gouging, chokes, and hard throws, not recognized in boxing today.
The male green humphead parrotfish has a more well-developed forehead with an "ossified ridge" which plays a role in ritualised headbutting. Dimorphism can also take the form of differences in coloration. Again, it is usually the males that are brightly coloured; in killifishes, rainbowfishes and wrasses the colours are permanent while in species like minnows, sticklebacks, darters and sunfishes, the colour changes with seasons. Such coloration can be very conspicuous to predators, showing that the drive to reproduce can be stronger than that to avoid predation.

Venis went after Ken Shamrock and the two fought up the walkway with Shamrock running back to the ring but not fast enough to avoid a double count-out.
He turns and retaliates, hating away Andrew's legs, and the situation escalates again until all that is left of the two are their disembodied heads. Refusing to give up the fight, Andrew and Dave manage to turn themselves and (by bouncing) charge at each other, headbutting each other repeatedly until they finally stop, exhausted. Their anger abated, Dave and Andrew make up, agree to be best friends again, and set off to explore the nothingness. As they bounce away into the white void they remark how they both had always thought that their bodies were somehow holding them back.

Although UFC used the tagline "There are no rules" in the early 1990s, the UFC did in fact operate with limited rules. It banned biting and eye-gouging, and allowed techniques such as hair pulling, headbutting, groin strikes, and fish-hooking. In a UFC 4 qualifying match, competitors Jason Fairn and Guy Mezger agreed not to pull hair—as they both wore pony tails tied back for the match. That same event saw a matchup between Keith Hackney and Joe Son in which Hackney unleashed a series of groin shots against Son while on the ground.
UFC 15 saw limitations on hair pulling, and the banning of strikes to the back of the neck and head, headbutting, small-joint manipulations, and groin strikes. With five-minute rounds introduced at UFC 21, the UFC gradually re-branded itself as a sport rather than a spectacle. Led by UFC commissioner Jeff Blatnick and referee John McCarthy, the UFC continued to work with state athletic commissions. Blatnick, McCarthy, and matchmaker Joe Silva created a manual of policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and rules to help in getting the UFC sanctioned by the athletic commissions, many of which exist to this day.

The music video for "Dangerous" was released on February 19, 2014 and directed by Brandon LaGanke and John Carlucci of GHOST+COW, based on a concept developed with Alan Wilkis. It revolves around two shoe designers who develop an athletic shoe that encourages the wearer to commit acts of violence. The two designers first observe a group of shackled inmates wearing the shoes and walking in circles until one wearer bumps into another, resulting in one inmate violently headbutting another, to the point that blood splatters onto the testers. Satisfied with the results, a marketing meeting is held to develop advertising for the shoe.
However, in September 2006, he was sentenced to two months in prison alongside teammates Bradley Orr and Steve Brooker for his part in the "drink-fuelled brawl" at a nightclub in the previous October. However, Dean Ashton pulled one back for West Ham with an audacious bicycle kick after Wes Brown's clearing header only went straight upwards. Just before half-time, as West Ham were looking to be settling into a rhythm, an altercation between Lucas Neill and Nani resulted in the Portuguese international headbutting the Australian, before going to ground himself, only to find a red card waiting for him when he got back to his feet. This left United a man down, with a whole half left to play. Nevertheless, despite the man advantage, West Ham were unable to capitalise, and ended up going 4–1 down in the 59th minute.
Brian Bloodaxe plays as a platform game with some very simple "collect and drop objects" aspects. Although Brian has to dodge most of the game's varied and often surreal enemies, some of them can be killed either by headbutting them thereby stabbing them with the horns of his helmet, or using weapon objects found in the game - axe, bomb and pistol. The game is notable for its esoteric humour which was strongly influenced by the humour of sketch comedy series Monty Python's Flying Circus, its in-game music (The "Liberty Bell March" by John Philip Sousa, better known to most as the Flying Circus theme tune), and colourful graphics.
The teams have been accused of rigging games by selecting favourable referees. The 2006 FIFA World Cup Final in Berlin, Zinedine Zidane widely considered by experts and fans as one of the greatest football players of all time, was sent off in the 110th minute of the game, which was to be the last match of his career. After headbutting Marco Materazzi in the chest, Zidane did not participate in the penalty shootout, which Italy won 5–3. It was later discovered through interviews that Materazzi had insulted Zidane's mother and sister that last moment which is what led to Zidane's heightened anger and reaction.
He almost scored a second goal during the first period of extra time but his header was saved by Italy's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. Zidane was then sent off in the 110th minute of the game after headbutting Marco Materazzi in the chest, so he did not participate in the penalty shootout which Italy won 5–3. This marked the 14th overall expulsion of Zidane's career, and joined him with Cameroon's Rigobert Song as the only players ever to be sent off during two separate World Cup tournaments. He also became the fourth player red-carded in a World Cup final, in addition to being the first sent off in extra time.

An article in al-Ahram suggested that the Egyptians attending the match were mainly wealthy people who could afford to travel, rather than "the really tough fans" who could have defended themselves against assaults. The two sides met again in Angola in January, for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals. Egypt cruised to a 4–0 victory, en route to an unprecedented 7th tournament win, in a hotly tempered match where Algeria had three players red carded. Match referee Coffi Codjia was indefinitely suspended by the Confederation of African Football for failing to send off Algerian goalkeeper Faouzi Chaouchi for headbutting the match official, only awarding the player a yellow card for the incident.

After an incident on a flight to Australia in 1998 that apparently involved a scone, Gallagher was banned for life from Cathay Pacific airlines; he responded that he would "rather walk". During the band's Australian tour at the time, he was arrested and charged with assault after allegedly headbutting a 19-year-old fan who claimed he was only asking Gallagher for a photo. Criminal charges were later dropped, although a civil case was pursued that led to Gallagher reportedly settling out of court. In 2006, Gallagher allegedly had a drunken fight with footballer Paul Gascoigne at the Groucho Club in London, which ended with him setting off a fire extinguisher in Gascoigne's face.

São Paulo fans were soon seen standing in long lines to buy his new number 10 jersey at the team's official merchandise retailer after Adriano was introduced and his shirt was unveiled at a team press conference. Born in Fazendas de Almeirim, Santarém District, Bragança spent his entire youth career with Sporting CP. On 10 January 2019, he was loaned to LigaPro club S.C. Farense until the end of the season. He scored his first goal on 14 April to open a 3–1 home win over G.D. Estoril Praia, and followed it five days later with another in a 1–1 draw with F.C. Penafiel also at the Estádio de São Luís. On 9 August 2019, Bragança was loaned again to the second tier, this time to Estoril. He was sent off on 3 November for headbutting Académico de Viseu FC's Kelvin Medina, and received a two-match ban.
A referee acts to monitor for fouls and to control the match, while judges mark down scores, as in boxing. Particular targets may be prohibited, certain techniques may be forbidden (such as headbutting or groin hits), and fighters may be required to wear protective equipment on their head, hands, chest, groin, shins or feet. Some grappling arts, such as aikido, use a similar method of compliant training that is equivalent to light or medium contact. In some styles (such as fencing and some styles of taekwondo sparring), competitors score points based on the landing of a single technique or strike as judged by the referee, whereupon the referee will briefly stop the match, award a point, then restart the match.
The rest of the video alternates between the pitching of advertising ideas and the concepts being shown in real time. The advertisement within the video opens with a woman (Lauren Francesca) in a two-piece running outfit jogging down a street, who is later joined by a second woman (Nicola Fiori) also jogging and similarly dressed. The camera frequently pans from the shoes to their breasts and faces, and closed captioning reading "sexual breathing". Seeing the chief marketing director's bored reaction, the designers begin to incorporate more graphic ideas into the advertisement, including the joggers headbutting various bystanders to death and engaging in a lesbian kiss, to the approval of the director and his executives, who toast champagne to celebrate their success.

The administrators accepted a bid from Southampton for Danns, but the player rejected the move. Warnock challenged him to "step up and take on the goalscoring duties" from the departed Victor Moses, and he complied, with both goals in a 2–0 win over Peterborough United, a late winner against Scunthorpe United, and two more goals later in the season that took his league tally to eight. However, in the penultimate match of the season, a 1–1 draw with West Bromwich Albion, Danns was sent off for headbutting Graham Dorrans, so was suspended for the visit to Sheffield Wednesday from which Palace needed a point to survive at their hosts' expense. The match was drawn, so Wednesday were relegated.

In the Cup Final at Wembley, Arsenal lost to Leeds United. The latter stages of George's career with Arsenal were hampered by injuries and a rebellious streak at odds with the club's management; during the 1971–72 season he was disciplined by the club twice, first after headbutting Liverpool's Kevin Keegan, and then for flicking a V-sign at Derby County's fans after scoring away at the Baseball Ground. As the Double-winning side were gradually broken up, Arsenal began to descend down the table, and although George hit eleven goals in both 1971–72 and 1972–73 his form declined alongside Arsenal's; he only scored five times in 28 matches in 1973–74 and he was dropped from the first team in 1974–75 after falling out with manager Bertie Mee.
French captain Zinedine Zidane opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a chipped penalty kick, awarded for a controversial foul by Materazzi on Florent Malouda. Twelve minutes later, a header by Materazzi from a corner kick by Pirlo brought Italy even. In the second half, a potential winning goal by Toni was disallowed for a very close offside call by linesman Luc La Rossa. In the 110th minute, Zidane (playing in the last match of his career) was sent off by referee Horacio Elizondo for headbutting Materazzi in the chest after a verbal exchange; Italy then won the penalty shootout 5–3, with the winner scored by Grosso; the crucial penalty miss from the French being David Trezeguet's, the same player who scored the golden goal for France in the Euro 2000.

During a game at Ibrox that year, Aberdeen player John McMaster had to be given the kiss of life after Johnston stamped on his throat, often listed as one of the reasons for the development of the rivalry between the clubs. He won another Scottish Cup winner's medal in 1981, although he only played in the first match and not the victorious replay. Johnston made 404 appearances in all competitions for Rangers over his spells at the club, scoring 131 goals. He then had a spell at Hearts under another old Gers colleague, Alex MacDonald, where he was sanctioned by the SFA for apparently headbutting Celtic's David Provan and clashing with their manager Billy McNeill (a former on-field adversary), and later for commenting on the incident in a newspaper.
On 22 August 2017, Muric received a call-up from Montenegro U21 for the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification match against Kazakhstan U21 and for the friendly match against Bosnia and Herzegovina U21. On 5 September 2017, he made his debut with Montenegro U21 in a friendly match against Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 after being named in the starting line-up. In both matches, he played for Montenegro U21 and he was sent off after receiving straight red cards, one for handling the ball outside the box against Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 and the other for headbutting an opponent against Slovenia U21. Despite previously declaring his will to play for Montenegro after not being called up for the senior team, he opted to represent Kosovo instead.
During his early career, Guerreiro rarely settled with a club, representing Sociedade Esportiva Matonense, Guaratinguetá Futebol, Sociedade Esportiva do Gama and Figueirense Futebol Clube. In 2003, he established at Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, moving to FC Metalurh Donetsk in the Ukraine after four years but returning unsettled to Brazil shortly after, joining Santos FC on loan. In November 2008, while at Real Murcia in the Spanish second division, Guerreiro assaulted the referee in a 3–5 loss at Xerez CD, after a penalty kick was awarded to the opposition and he was sent off for a second bookable offense.Guerreiro, del Murcia, a cabezazos con el árbitro (Murcia's Guerreiro, headbutting with the referee); El Mundo, 3 November 2008 He was banned with four games,Competición suspende a Guerreiro cuatro partidos (League suspends Guerreiro four matches); Sport, 5 November 2008 and fined by the club.
For the second time in his career, Costa was an unused substitute as Atlético won the UEFA Super Cup on 1 September 2012. That December, Costa was involved in several on-field altercations in two separate matches. The first was in a 0–2 local derby loss against Real Madrid where he avoided disciplinary action after spitting incidents between him and Sergio Ramos. He was sent off in the following game at Viktoria Plzeň in the UEFA Europa League for headbutting opponent David Limberský, and was handed a four-match ban by UEFA. This, however, did not deter coach Diego Simeone from continuing to start him, and he responded by scoring three goals in two home contests, against Deportivo de La Coruña in the league (6–0) and Getafe in the season's Copa del Rey (3–0).
On the issue of possible disciplinary sanctions against Henry individually, a FIFA spokesperson stated "The [independent] disciplinary commission...will decide if the case is of interest [when they meet sometime in the next two weeks]. The possibility exists of sanctioning a player for unsporting behaviour on the basis of video evidence". Examples of FIFA disciplinary action taken against players for incidents missed by the referee based on video evidence include banning Mauro Tassotti for eight games for use of an elbow during the 1994 World Cup quarter-final, and banning Marco Materazzi for two games for his verbal provocation of Zinedine Zidane in the 2006 FIFA World Cup Final, resulting in the infamous headbutting incident. On 2 December after the FIFA EGM it was announced that FIFA's disciplinary committee would open an investigation into Henry's handball.
Alves was born in Póvoa de Varzim, and grew up in the Caxinas fishing neighbourhood of bordering Vila do Conde, as did his long- time international teammates Hélder Postiga and Fábio Coentrão. He started playing football for local club Varzim SC, before joining the youth ranks of FC Porto at the age of 17. After three consecutive loans, two in Portugal and another in Greece with AEK Athens FC,Porto promise to AEK; UEFA, 4 August 2004 Alves returned Porto for the 2005–06 season, extending his contract until 2010Porto trio commit futures; UEFA, 28 October 2005 and battling for a first- team spot with Ricardo Costa and João Paulo. He earned his first cap for Les Blues in August 1994 in a friendly against the Czech Republic, where he scored 2 goals to bring the game to a 2–2 draw. He is considered one of the main stars of France's golden generation that existed from 1998 to 2006 as he helped the side win the 1998 FIFA World Cup Final and UEFA Euro 2000 Final, as he scored 2 goals in the former final and won the Player of the Tournament award for the latter competition. He would play his last ever professional football game and scored his final ever international goal at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Final where he was infamously sent off in extra time after headbutting Marco Materazzi because the Italian made a remark about his sister. He also won the Golden Ball award of that year's World Cup.
McVeigh played incredibly well for the remainder of the season scoring vital goals at Leeds, Leicester and Sheffield United. This helped gain him the player of the month award in December and January and he signed a one-year contract extension. He started off the 2006–07 season from the bench but got a run in the team by October. McVeigh made a bad first impression on new manager Peter Grant when he was sent off for headbutting in injury time during the 1–0 win over Cardiff. McVeigh got very few opportunities under Grant and was loaned out to Burnley for the last few months of the season where he scored 3 goals helping them to survive in the championship. McVeigh was released by Norwich at the end of the 2006–07 season. In July 2007 McVeigh trained with the Italian Serie B side PisaFlown From the Nest – Paul McVeigh before Plymouth Argyle manager Ian Holloway gave him a trial with a view to signing him.
On 2 August, in his Scottish Premiership debut, he capitalised on a Brad McKay mistake to score the opener at home against St Johnstone, in an eventual 4–3 win. Six days later, in a 2–1 success at Dundee, he netted twice in five minutes, starting with a penalty; on 19 December, against the same opponent, he received a straight red card in a goalless draw for headbutting David Wotherspoon, and manager Robbie Neilson attributed it to frustration at Scottish referees being more lenient on fouls against strikers than their Spanish counterparts. On 31 August 2016, Juanma was loaned to UCAM Murcia CF for one year, making his professional debut in the Spanish league system on 21 September when he came on as a 35th-minute substitute and scored once in a 4–0 home win over UD Almería for the Segunda División. In January 2017, however, he agreed to a permanent contract with Japanese club V-Varen Nagasaki.
He even once intimidated a defendant in L&O;'s "Bogeyman"; by implying that he is a member of a Scientology-like group called "Systemotics," Cutter exploits the defendant's paranoia to earn a plea bargain. In the episode "Skate or Die", Cutter pretends to be a Russian spy to provoke a mentally ill witness into headbutting him in front of Dr. Elizabeth Olivet (Carolyn McCormick) and demonstrate to her that the witness is a threat to himself and to others, leaving her no choice but to order him to take anti-psychotic medication. Cutter benefits from his provocation because the medicated witness is now able to provide coherent testimony. In the L&O; season 19 finale "The Drowned and the Saved", McCoy agrees not to bring criminal charges against Governor Donald Shalvoy (Tom Everett Scott) in exchange for testifying against his wife as part of a plea deal in a case involving prostitution and murder.
Yosser speeds off in the group's own van and gives chase to Brendan and Dominic, who attempts to puncture Yosser's tyres by smashing empty milk bottles on the road from the back of the van. Yosser swerves and avoids them, but runs out of petrol, shouting and venting his anger by bashing his head on the steering wheel. He finds a can of petrol in the back of the van, partly refuels and sets off in vain to find the pair, before giving up on a roundabout, bringing traffic on it to a halt and breaking down in tears, ignoring the tailback and horns being blown behind him. He returns to the group after stopping by where he had abandoned a number of items from the van, headbutting a man he believes to be an Irish gypsy and kicking his companion to the ground, who protests he is neither a gypsy nor Irish and was "just hitching a lift".
In the second half, England playmaker David Beckham was sent off after a kick on Simeone, with the scores remaining unchanged until the end of normal time and extra time. Argentina won 4–3 on penalties, after Ayala scored the decisive spot kick to book their quarter-final spot, where the Netherlands awaited them. The game was an equally fought match, with both sides scoring early goals; Patrick Kluivert netting after just 12 minutes and Claudio López equalizing five minutes later. Argentina held an advantage as the Dutch went a man down with the dismissal of Arthur Numan after his second booking for a foul on Simeone, though they were unable to take the opportunity and break the deadlock before they too went a man down; with Ariel Ortega receiving two successive yellow cards, the first one for diving inside the penalty box, with the second coming after headbutting Dutch goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.
Cronulla coach Ricky Stuart signed Snowden for the 2008 NRL season as he had been an admirer ever since he had tried to sign the prop as a junior in 2003. Still with a suspension arising from a headbutting charge to serve from his time at the Knights, he made his debut for the club on 10 May in round 9 against the North Queensland Cowboys at Dairy Farmers Stadium. His first ever try came in the final round of the season as he came off the bench against North Queensland to help his side to a 28-22 win. Snowden played in Cronulla's 2008 preliminary final loss against the Melbourne Storm where they were defeated 28-0 at the Sydney Football Stadium. 2009 saw Snowden become a regular starter for the club after starting all but three games for the year. He was suspended for the round 5 clash against Canberra after he had been charged by the judiciary with a grade one dangerous contact charge for a grapple tackle against Canterbury in the 24-12 loss in the previous round.
Mowbray was also quick to hail Kiely's professionalism throughout the season in handling his situation with dignity. That performance ensured that he kept his place for the club's final two games of the season, although he was unable to prevent relegation following a 2–0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool. On 24 May 2009 he kept a clean sheet in the club's final game against Blackburn Rovers as the match finished in a 0–0 stalemate. Since relegation to the Championship Kiely has once again had to be content playing second fiddle to Carson, who was named the new club captain by new manager Roberto Di Matteo, but on 8 December 2009 he made his first Championship appearance of the season as a replacement, coming on for the sent-off Carson and saving a penalty (though Peter Whittingham scored from the rebound) in a 2–0 home defeat to Cardiff City. He went on to play a run of three games while Carson sat through a suspension following his headbutting of Cardiff striker Michael Chopra, against QPR (2–2), Peterborough United (2–0), and Scunthorpe United (3–1).
During his first spell at Zaragoza and while at Atlético Madrid, Esnáider was considered by many as one of the most promising strikers in European football. However, this was often overshadowed by his misconduct and foul play in many matches: After missing a penalty kick in Atlético's match against AFC Ajax, in the 1996–97 edition of the UEFA Champions League, he made a ferocious two-footed tackle at Richard Witschge, but was lucky to receive only a yellow card. Minutes later, he was enraged when he was substituted by coach Radomir Antić, shouting out profanities; the next day, he was transferlisted by illusive chairman Jesús Gil; In 2000–01's dying stages, as Zaragoza fought to retain their top-level status, Esnáider brutally assaulted a RC Celta de Vigo player with his elbow (with the consequent dismissal), allegedly after being told by the club he would be deemed surplus to requirements for the following season. The player denied, however, this as the main reason for the incident; At the 1991 World Youth Championships, Esnáider was sent off for headbutting referee Guy Goethals and calling him a "son of a whore".
José Enrique in action in a 2012 Merseyside derby against Everton On 11 August 2011, Newcastle agreed a £7 million fee with Liverpool for José Enrique, and a day later he joined the Merseyside club. Two days after signing, José Enrique made his debut in Liverpool's first game of the 2011–12 Premier League, starting at left back in a 1–1 draw against Sunderland. On 26 February 2012, he helped Liverpool win the 2012 Football League Cup Final against Cardiff City, their first honour since 2006. On 1 April, he was forced to play as a goalkeeper for the remaining 13 minutes of the match at his old club Newcastle after Pepe Reina was sent off for headbutting James Perch. Although José Enrique kept a clean sheet, the Reds, being down 2–0 at the time of Reina's red card, failed to level the score. He also played in the 2012 FA Cup Final on 5 May, a 2–1 loss to Chelsea. On 17 November 2012, in a league match against Wigan Athletic, José Enrique scored his first goal for Liverpool in the 65th minute, having been increasingly reinvented as a left wing back in an unconventional 3–5–2 formation under manager Brendan Rodgers.Liverpool 3–0 Wigan The Guardian 17 November 2012.
Adel Abdessemed grew up in Algeria amid civil war tensions, and has been greatly affected by the media exposure of the Gulf War and its global impact. If the collapse of the machine and the first Big War at the beginning of the 20th Century contributed in no small part to the establishment of an art that was suddenly provoking and difficult to look at, the availability of images from the war front in the 1990s made the same process impossible. There is little point in trying to tackle brutality by denouncing it via a series of trite statements or graphic imagery. Adel Abdessemed stated about his work «I think my work is actually positive. The world is violent – not me». Abdessemed's life-size sculptural variations of iconic images, such as the nine-year-old Phan Thị Kim Phúc (nicknamed ‘the Napalm Girl’) running away naked from an explosion throughout the Vietnam War in 1972 or the French football player Zinedine Zidane headbutting Marco Materazzi during the 2006 FIFA World Cup Final (Headbutt) are only two examples of how the immediacy of such moments take on fresh meaning when solidified in a form designed to make them still and everlasting.
He was involved in an altercation with Leeds' Syd Hynes which resulted in Hynes being sent off for headbutting Murphy. Murphy was carried off the pitch on a stretcher, but later returned to the bench and was able to lift the trophy at the end of the game. Alex Murphy played , and scored a conversion in Leigh's 2–11 defeat by Swinton in the 1969 Lancashire County Cup Final during the 1969–70 season at Central Park, Wigan on Saturday 1 November 1969, and played in the 7–4 victory over St. Helens in the 1970 Lancashire County Cup Final replay during the 1970–71 season at Station Road, Swinton on Saturday 28 November 1970.
