Hattah is a locality in Victoria, Australia located approximately 70 km south of Mildura. Located adjacent to Hattah is the Hattah-Kulkyne National Park. Hattah had a Post Office for some months in 1903. Later when the railway arrived a Post Office again opened on 15 January 1915 known as Hattah R.S.(for Railway Station) until 1923.

Several trials have indicated uncontrolled kangaroo numbers present a risk to plant biodiversity. Kangaroos can not be commercially harvested in National Parks; as a result, their numbers often rise to excessive levels which sometimes require culling programs to be used. The Calder Highway running from north to south through Nowingi defines the eastern boundary. The Hattah-Kulkyne National Park lies to the east of the highway. The boinka lies within part of the Murray Mallee plain. There is a fringe of Lowan Mallee along its south edge.

Ouyen is a closed railway station in Ouyen, on the Mildura railway line, in Victoria, Australia. The station is the junction for the Pinnaroo line westward to Panitya and Pinnaroo. The station opened on 15 January 1903, along with the line from Woomelang to Hattah. No facilities were provided.

Other habitats include acacia and cypress pine scrubs and woodlands, stony ground and sandhills, and lignum, saltbush and samphire. Chestnut-crowned babblers are most readily sighted at Eulo Bore, Bowra Station and in Hattah-Kulkyne National Park, as well as along many outback roads including those between Quilpie and Windorah, and Bourke and Nyngan.

The Raak Plain boinka is the largest boinka in the Murray River basin at about , and is an excellent example of a rare type of geological formation. It is northwest of Hattah, Victoria. The boinka complex lies to the east of the Sunset Strip, a NE-SW trending elevated block on the west of the Danyo Fault. The boinka is north of Mount Cowra and Wymlet.

He continued, and qualified first in the prologue, then won both days of the race, taking out his fourth Finke title. Price won his fifth Hattah Desert Race title in July, coinciding with signing to replace the retiring Marc Coma on the Factory KTM Red Bull Rally team in the World Rally Championship and Dakar Rally He then took out a record fifth AORC win, wrapping up the title with two rounds still remaining.

The little friarbird has been sighted along the Murray River and throughout the Riverina within New South Wales. In Victoria, the little friarbird is seen in the north-central region of the state, and near prominent bodies of water, such as Hattah Lakes. Sightings occur as far as Morgan on the Murray River in South Australia. They are also present in southern Papua New Guinea and on several islands adjacent to Australia.

The park is in the Mallee district, famous for its red dirt and semi-arid shrub-like vegetation, mainly eucalypts. There are several lakes in the area, the largest of which is Lake Hattah. During the dry season most of the lakes and their streams dry out completely. Although there are limited road and tracks, there are several major high tension power and telegraph lines that run through or near the park, around which large areas are cleared.

Possibly the freshwater was found in dune soaks, where rainwater filtering through the dune is trapped by a clay layer at its base. Another explanation could be that the shells were brought from a larger Hattah Lake system immediately to the east of the Raak boinka. Some of the land is freehold, and some is State Forest used for grazing and salt mining under lease. About 18% of the boinka is used for grazing, mostly around Nowingi in the northeast.

Price won round 1 of the AORC, but suffered a crash that put him out of round 2. Less than a month later, still suffering the effects of the crash, he came second in rounds 3 and 4. He placed first in rounds 5, 6, 9, 10 and 11, becoming the only rider to win the AORC four times. In June, he won the Finke Desert race for the third time, followed by the Hattah Desert Race again in July.

To allow it to operate at the line speed of 110 km/h, the wagons were fitted with bogies similar to those fitted on passenger carriages.

The Wergaia or Werrigia people are an Aboriginal Australian group in the Wimmera region of north-Western Victoria, made up of a number of clans. The people were also known as the Maligundidj (in in the Wotjobaluk language) which means the people belonging to the mali (mallee) eucalypt bushland which covers much of their territory. Before European settlement in the nineteenth century, the Wergaia peoples occupied the area that included Lake Hindmarsh, Lake Albacutya, Pine Plains Lake, Lake Werringrin, Lake Coorong, Warracknabeal, Beulah, Hopetoun, Dimboola, Ouyen, Yanac, Hattah Lakes and the Wimmera River.

Barmah State Park was established in 1987, and was legislated as Barmah National Park in 2010. The park is one of four river red gum national parks established by the Victorian Government in 2010 to protect remnant river red gum forest. The other river red gum national parks are the Gunbower National Park (created 2009), Hattah-Kulkyne National Park (1978), Lower Goulburn National Park (2009), Murray-Sunset National Park (1991) and the Warby-Ovens National Park (2009). In July 2010, the Government of New South Wales declared the Millewa Forest, on the northern banks of the Murray River, as a national park.

Senior school programs are quite diverse, ranging from bush walking in Year 7 to choices including rafting, kayaking, rock-climbing, tree- planting or cycling in year 11. Year 10 students may also have great choice in their Exoduses, including Hattah Solo, a popular program involving students spending 24 hours out of the week-long program alone (albeit in close proximity to other students and supervisors) for the purposes of reflection and learning self-sufficiency. Exodus for each year level is slightly more challenging than the last, and there is a different theme for each year level.

Before the less infertile soils were fertilised and developed for the production of wheat and barley the whole region was covered in a dense mallee scrub of deep-rooting eucalypts that regenerated after the frequent bushfires in the region. Many of the soils are so sandy that clearing is impractical, and Murray-Sunset National Park covers almost a third of the area of the LGA. Other protected areas include Hattah-Kulkyne National Park and Murray-Kulkyne Park on the Murray River. The climate of the region is the driest in Victoria, and Neds Corner in the remote northwest has the lowest average annual rainfall in the state at .

Except for a fuel mishap in round one of the 2011 AORC, and a mechanical failure in the Finke Desert Race, Price again won most of the major off-road races in Australia. He won rounds 2, 3 and 4 of the AORC, Hattah and the A4DE. A mid-season injury put him out of the AORC title chase, leaving him in ninth place overall. Selected for the Australian team to compete in the 2011 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) competition in Finland from 8 to 13 August, Price finished fourth in the E2 class of the ISDE and eighth overall, making him the highest finishing Australian.

The women in Souf (Muslims, and Christians) used to wear a long black dress embroidered with colourful stripes called "The Costume" or Eshorsheh Essoufaniieh or Soufanian Dress. The dress has a unique design that reflect the special identity of Souf. The men used to wear a special type of robe which comes in two forms: an open style called Maznook which is tightened to the body using a leather belt, and a closed style called Doshdash. They also wear a special type of wide trousers called Serwal, and a head cover comes in white and red called Kufeiieh, Hattah or Selk which is fixed to the head using a black headband called Eqall.

Price took first place Pro Class Melbourne Enduro-X and won the Finke Desert Race and Hattah Desert Race He also won AORC, the first time it had been won from the E3 class, winning eight of the ten rounds, and finishing second in the other two. He was selected for the Australian team to compete in the 2012 International Six Days Enduro competition in Germany from 24 to 29 September, leading the Australian team to second place in the world. After the first couple of days, Price was leading the E3 class and was fifth overall, despite a bent front wheel from the first day. Near the halfway mark of the event, he suffered broken ribs in an incident.
