Mitch, is the ex-leader of a London firm known as The Guvnors that has walked away from his life of violence and more than 20 years later is happily married. He becomes concerned when his son starts to show violent tendencies through his behavior at school. He is challenged by Shanko, a local gangster, after Shanko learns of the reputation of The Guvnors. Dj JamJam was born on Oct 31, 1981, in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Dj JamJam came to prominence on the London club scene playing at establishments such as Movida, Merah, Jalouse Club, CC Club, Taman Gang, Juju Chelsea, CokoBar, Guvnor Bar. He progressed onto concerts at London's O2, Hammersmith Apollo, Troxy, the Stratford Rex and London’s live music event “I Luv Live” which has brought the likes of Tinie Tempah, Jessie J, Emeli Sandé, Taio Cruz and N-Dubz to the stage. International fame came in the Afrobeats scene after a successful tour of Nigeria where he appeared on national prime- time TV and Radio networks and headlined the Atlanta Carnival 2009 in Lagos.

Larry Lamb plays the 76-year-old Brian Reader, taking the lead among the four "codgers" who carry out the operation, with the title of Guvnor, while the other three at the sharp end of the raid are Danny Jones (Phil Daniels), Terry Perkins (David Calder), and Kenny Collins (Clive Russell). Apart from more routine thievery going back at least to his first conviction in 1975, Reader had previously laundered the proceeds of the Brink's-Mat robbery of 1983. The burglars enter the underground premises over an Easter bank holiday weekend through a lift shaft, then drill through the thick walls of the vault with an industrial power drill, proceeding over the following two days to rifle through dozens of deposit boxes. The burglar alarm goes off, but the police decide not to attend.

Sir Henry Dickens, KC, as Common Serjeant of London Henry 'Harry' Dickens married Marie Roche (1852–1940), the daughter of Monsieur Antonin Roche, and the granddaughter of Czech Jewish composer and piano virtuoso Ignaz Moscheles, on 25 October 1876, in Portman Square in London; they had four sons and three daughters together. Within the Dickens family the couple were known as 'The Guvnor' and 'The Mater'. Their son Philip Charles Dickens is buried beside them in Putney Vale Cemetery in London, while a second son, Henry Charles Dickens, was the father of the author Monica Dickens. Henry Charles was a long serving member of Kensington Council in London where he was very active in improving housing in the poorer part of the borough after World War II; a block of flats in North Kensington is named after him.

Arnold thanks Barry in the sleeve notes, referring to him as "the Guvnor". Almost all of the tracks were John Barry compositions, and the revision of his work met with his approval – he contacted Barbara Broccoli, producer of the then upcoming Tomorrow Never Dies, to recommend Arnold as the film's composer. Sole compositional credit for the "James Bond Theme" is assigned to Monty Norman, who was contracted as composer for Dr. No. Nearly 40 years later, in 2001, the disputed authorship of the theme was examined legally in the High Court in London after Norman sued The Sunday Times for libel for publishing an article in 1997 in which Barry was named as the true composer; Barry testified for the defence.
