Members of several Bedouin family clans reside in Rahat: Al-Qrenawi, Tarabin, Al- Huzeil, Al-Tayaha, Al-Azazma, Al-Jubur, Al-Tawarah, Howeitat, and AbuZayed. Rahat's society is considered a young one, as more than half of its residents are under the age of 18.Environmental Education in Rahat Nevertheless, in December 2009, the town was ranked low (1 out of 10) in socio-economic standing. The school opened in 2004 because of the rapidly growing population of the Russell area as well as the growing proportion of anglophones in the area (most of the area historically being largely French- speaking). Beginning in 2004, the school added one grade each year. This process was finished in 2007 with the addition of Grade Twelve. All Saints Academy was founded in 1966 as St. Paul's Episcopal Parish School under Father Gilbertson and Father Sturrup of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church. The school did not adopt its current name until 1993, when the middle and upper school portions of the facility were added. Audet was born on 13 March 1922 in Lethbridge, Alberta, the youngest and sixth child of Paul and Edewisca Audet who were both born in Quebec. He grew up on the family ranch, in the Milk River valley, about two miles east of "Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park". With the exception of one year at Milk River Valley School he received all of his education to grade twelve in Coutts, Alberta. He was an outstanding athlete and loved all sports including hockey, basketball, and baseball.

Village Academy Schools was founded under the Learning Unlimited International Schools system in the fall of 1976 as a year-round preschool and kindergarten. Robbins read many of the classic books White kept in his library in the house, and he found many books by Canadian authors on the shelves of the Methodist Sunday School. Robbins eventually completed grade eleven and took an elementary school teaching job in Saskatchewan where his uncle, Everett Brown, was a school inspector. PCP is most commonly used in the United States. While usage peaked in the US in the 1970s, between 2005 and 2011 an increase in visits to emergency departments as a result of the drug occurred. As of 2017 in the United States about 1% of people in grade twelve reported using PCP in the prior year while 2.9% of those over the age of 25 reported using it at some point in their lives. PCP was initially made in 1926 and brought to market as an anesthetic medication in the 1950s.

Joan Rankin (September 19, 1927 – March 4, 2014) was a Canadian abstract artist. Rankin was born Joan Melvin Dowswell in Calgary, Alberta, but moved with her family a year later to Regina, Saskatchewan. During her childhood she took a drawing class at Regina College and was a member of her high school camera club; in her grade twelve year she took a course with Augusts Kenderdine. He was one of her instructors at the University of Saskatchewan, from which she received a bachelor's degree in 1950; another instructor was Nikloa Bjelajac.

The Forest of Reading is Canada's largest recreational reading program, made up of eight programs and run by the Ontario Library Association (OLA). The programs are geared towards readers in kindergarten to grade twelve, with several programs targeting adult readers, ESL learners and French speakers. The Forest is unique in that it is the readers themselves who choose the winners of each category by voting for their favourite books. Every year, the Forest of Reading programs culminate in an action packed event run in Toronto, called the Festival of Trees.

In 1980 the Lower and Middle Divisions moved into a new facility constructed on the Donoho campus and The Donoho Upper School divided to become a Middle Division, containing grades seven and eight, and an Upper Division for grades nine through twelve. In 1989, the Middle Division moved into a new facility constructed adjacent to the Upper Division. In the winter of 1996, ground was broken for Cabrillo High School on the west side of Long Beach. The school opened in September 1996 with grades nine and ten, and a student body of approximately 975 students. Because Cabrillo High School was still under construction, the original plan for the school was that upon completion of their tenth grade year, all students would transfer to one of the other five comprehensive high schools to complete their secondary education. Efforts by the students and parents instead led to the Board of Education to add grade eleven and eventually grade twelve.

Holy Cross was founded in 1985. Originally known as P.K. Kerwin (named after an area lawyer who had donated the property the school was constructed on), it was built at 541 Lake Street, as a senior Elementary School, serving only grades seven and eight. Grades nine and ten were later added, but in 1984, grade 11 classes were offered under the name of Denis Morris Catholic High School, Kerwin Campus. In September 1985, re-christened as Holy Cross Secondary School, the facility now offered grade twelve classes as well, while grades seven and eight had been eliminated.

Seneca College, King Campus Public schools with classes from kindergarten through grade twelve are administered by the York Region District School Board and the York Catholic District School Board. The only public secondary school in King, King City Secondary School, serves students residing in a relatively large geographic area, including some from adjacent towns. A private Catholic high school, St. Thomas of Villanova College, and private JK -12 school, The Country Day School, are also located in the township. Seneca College owns a campus located in the southeastern portion of King Township, where the College offers various programs.

In the 80s and 90s, the school made great steps towards standardizing of curriculum, prior to this the curriculum left with the teacher and new teachers were forced to start from scratch. Having survived the Mau Mau Rebellion of the 1950s and terrorist threats in the late 1990s, RVA has continued to grow. Today it enrolls roughly 500 students, from kindergarten up to grade twelve, and allows both American and British curricula to be followed by its students. Students hail from North America (roughly 60% of the student body), South Korea (20%), Kenya (15%), and other countries (10%).

What exists in Quebec is simply a different structure of education than in other provinces, which ultimately yields exactly the same total duration of study when years of secondary and post-secondary study are combined. Graduates of two-year college programs often receive up to one year of advanced standing at universities outside of Quebec, but no more than this. Effectively, the first year of college study is considered equivalent to grade twelve in all other provinces, while the second year is considered to be equal to the freshman university year. Chronologically and legally, this is true and has been in effect for the entire modern era of education in Canada.

It graduated its first class in 1979, becoming the first elementary through grade twelve arts program in the country. The first so-called "survivors", who began in fourth grade, graduated in 1982. The school started by offering preschool at its Elizalde Campus, and eventually expanded to offer primary school, secondary school, International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and college degree courses. Student Government does not have a binding say on school policy but does share its opinion with the faculty and the administration over any new or changing rules within the school. Sitting on the School Council also gives it an opportunity to share its thoughts with the parents as well as the principal in an open forum. More often than not, a member of the Student Government (usually the Prime Minister) is asked to mediate a situation and present a solution to an issue facing students as was the case with the amended rule regarding the length of shorts back in 2009 and an alternative for the end-of-the-year grade twelve prank, which was circumvented by putting in place a grad night at the school.

Headquarters of Maple Leaf Educational Systems in Jinshitan, Dalian, Liaoning, China Maple Leaf International School-Dalian is a part of the Maple Leaf Educational Systems located in Jinshitan National Resort in Jinzhou District, Dalian, China, providing the British Columbia (BC) high school program from grade ten to grade twelve. Maple Leaf accepts both domestic students and international students. Students are registered as British Columbia students and write the same Grade 10, 11 and 12 BC examinations as resident students in BC and graduate with the same BC Ministry of Education transcripts and graduation (Dogwood) diploma as resident students in BC. The grade 10-12 courses, with the exception of Mandarin and Chinese social studies, are taught by B.C. certified teachers.
