Benny started college at age 15, while Rafi attended Dickinson College for two years before transferring to Hunter College, where he got a degree in film studies. The two began entertaining their friends with short sketches and full-length comedies shot with action figures. The brothers stated that they created a live action feature in 2000 that made its way into comedy film festivals, and that they were planning to create a feature each year, hoping that one feature would soon help the brothers break into Hollywood. Despite winning young filmmaker awards, they soon came to the conclusion that this method would not be the best path, and decided their future would be on the internet, which they viewed at the time as the new film festival.

His family had to move around a lot in search of new jobs – those were the hard times of the rulings of Stalin and later Khrushchev. When he was 16 he finished school with honors – early – and wanted to help his family, and so he came to work to a ship that delivered cargo to and from America during World War II and worked there for a year. Petrović was born on 6 May 1868, in Belgrade, as the first child of Nikodim, a professor of theology, and Milica (née Lazarević). He finished the First Belgrade Gymnasium in 1885, and afterwards enrolled at the natural science-mathematical section of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. At the time when he finished his studies in Serbia in 1889, several Serbian mathematicians who had acquired their doctorate degrees abroad, like Dr. Dimitrije Nešić (at Vienna and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), Dr. Dimitrije Danić (at Jena, 1885) and Bogdan Gavrilović (at Budapest, 1887) were beginning to make a name for themselves. Subsequently, in September 1889, he too went abroad, to Paris to receive further education, and to prepare for the entrance exam to the École Normale Supérieure. He got a degree in mathematical sciences from Sorbonne University in 1891. He worked on preparing his doctoral dissertation, and on 21 June 1894 he defended his PhD degree at the Sorbonne, and received a title Docteur des sciences mathematiques (doctor of mathematical sciences).

Joseph L. Bubba (born February 28, 1938) is an American Republican Party politician who served for five terms in the New Jersey Senate. Bubba served in the United States Navy, got a degree in Marketing from Seton Hall University and was a manager for New Jersey Bell Telephone Company. He served on the Board of Education of the Wayne Public Schools from 1971 to 1975, and was elected to the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 1975. He lost a bid for re-election in 1978, and was elected Passaic County Republican Chairman in 1979. Bubba was first elected to the Senate in 1981, when redistricting reconfigured the 34th Legislative District, which included Wayne and Clifton in Passaic County, and parts of Western Essex County. He defeated Democrat William J. Bate, an Assemblyman and ex-Senator, by a 53-47% margin. Two years later, Bubba faced a GOP primary challenge from Assemblyman S.M. Terry LaCorte, which he won 57%-43%. He survived a tough general election campaign against Passaic County Freeholder James Roe, the brother of U.S. Rep.
