The camera was built to the most precise standards in the industry, and is still popular with student filmmakers. Durable and ruggedly built, it was standard equipment for U.S. military combat cameramen from World War II thru Vietnam, and the workhorse silent news-gathering camera for TV stations from the 1950s through the 1970s, when electronic news gathering (ENG) on video tape began to replace 16mm film. Most varieties are very common, but special models like the Model 70-B, and the 70-DB (Golf Model, 1931)) are quite rare, and the Filmo 70-AC Morgana Color System camera (1932), while advertised briefly, is unknown in any extant examples and may never have gone past the prototype stage.

Several hours has gone past and Makinde is yet to get a word from the secretary about his rescheduled meeting. He decides to inquire about it from her but to his surprise, she informs him rudely that the minister has already left the office.

In the middle of the night, he went to roadie Kim Payne, who was keeping watch over the band's warehouse, where they kept their equipment. Payne helped him write the first two lines of the third verse: "We were getting high and, honestly, he was starting to irritate me—because he was singing this song over and over and I got sick of hearing the band play the same shit over and over again until they got it right," Payne later recalled. "So I just threw out the line, 'I've gone past the point of caring / some old bed I’ll soon be sharing.'" Thankful for Payne's help, Allman told him he would give him a percentage of its royalties should it become a success.

Reducing our foodprint, we are trialling a new waste reduction initiative, called Reducing our Foodprint, which gives customers the opportunity to buy products past their best before date for a nominal value. The trial was first launched in Clanfield in December and was later extended to our Tangier Road, Portsmouth store. Customers are able to purchase selected products beyond their ‘best before’ date as this date relates to quality, not the safety of the product. This has been well received in both communities and if successful we hope to extend the trial. Reducing our Foodprint builds on other work already carried out to reduce the amount of products which are unsold because they have gone past their ‘use by’ date.

The league retained the Home Run Derby, but dropped the provision for tie games and standings based on a point system. The league also kept the 2017 format in which the top 6 teams made the playoffs (the lower-seeded four entering a one-game play-in), though this was now 6-of-7 rather than 6-of-9. In each three-game playoff series, the higher-seeded team was no longer given an option but was scheduled to host Game 1, and Game 3 if necessary. A scoreless tie between Bristol and Nashua on June 7 was settled with the first Home Run Derby that had ever gone past the first (three-minute) round into the second (two-minute) round.

Children clambered up to the same old-fashioned ticket booth and sometimes pointed out its most famous resident, a man with white hair, whom they often called Mr. Nunley. Nunley's restaurant served a cheeseburger deluxe, hamburgers, hot dogs, pastrami on rye, pizza, fountain soda, soft serve ice-cream in vanilla, chocolate, or twists with sprinkles, and bags of French fries slathered in ketchup. It was a popular arcade hot spot during the '80s gaming boom, featuring all of the latest games, but it also housed classics from generations gone past. There was an old fortune teller machine, much like the one featured in Tom Hanks' movie Big (1988), pinball, a coin-operated dancing clown band, and a number of skee ball lanes.

The accident happened at 10:35 (1:35 UTC) local time on May 14, 1991, on the SKR Shigaraki Line between Onotani Signal Station and Shigarakigūshi. A special JR West rapid service train (501D) from Kyoto bound for Shigaraki had entered the Shigaraki Line at Kibukawa Station from the Kusatsu Line, transporting 716 passengers to the World Ceramic Festival that was being held in Shigaraki at the time. Going in the opposite direction, an SKR local train (534D) had left Shigaraki and headed for Kibukawa, despite a red signal. The was the only point on the single-track line where two trains can safely pass, but the JR West train had already gone past that signal station, as it was given a green signal despite the approaching SKR train.

Tamim Iqbal Khan (born 20 March 1989) is a Bangladeshi international cricketer. He is the current captain of Bangladesh's One Day International (ODI) team. Tamim made his ODI debut in 2007 and played his first Test match the following year. He served as vice-captain of the national side between December 2010 and September 2011. Tamim has scored centuries in all three formats of the game and is also the first Bangladeshi to score 10,000, 11,000, 12,000 & 13,000 international runs. In January 2018 against Zimbabwe at Sher- e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka, he became the first batsman for Bangladesh to reach 6,000 & 7,000 runs in ODIs and has gone past Sanath Jayasuriya's 2,514 runs at the R. Premadasa Stadium to become highest run- scorer at a single venue in ODIs.

Hubbard explained the purpose of creating new terms in the foreword to the Dianetics and Scientology Technical Dictionary: The early approach is apparent in Hubbard's use of the suffix "-ness" to turn arbitrary concepts into qualities: "havingness," "livingness," "reelingness," "as-is-ness." Hubbard's terminology is used so thoroughly in Scientology as to render many church materials incomprehensible under a standard English reading using only an English dictionary as reference. Scientologists will study hard to learn all this terminology, since one of Hubbard's teachings is that "...the only reason a person gives up a study or becomes confused or unable to learn is because he or she has gone past a word that was not understood." It is also used extensively in offshoots of Scientology, such as the Narconon drug rehabilitation program or the Applied Scholastics education program.

Gonzalo Grau, La Timba Loca band leader, hopes timba will gain popularity in the States, but he realizes that only small crowds will come to shows at first. Because of the politics surrounding Cuba, the music has not had a chance to gain exposure in the States and has not become as commercialized as traditional salsa from other Latin countries. Nevertheless, many Cuban musicians seek to work abroad, and a significant number of musicians now work in exile, both in the United States and in Europe (and to a lesser extent in Latin America), leading to a new wave of cross-breeding between the timba and salsa. While timba has gone past its peak in recent years, all major groups are still actively recording and performing, and major labels—especially in Europe—have started taking an interest in timba.

In wrestling, one of the most remarkable wrestlers is Bruno Sammartino, who held the record of the WWWF (World) Heavyweight Championship for over 11 years across two reigns, the first of which is the longest single reign in the promotion's history. Rugby union was imported from France in the 1910s and has been regularly played since the 1920s; the National team has progressed slowly but significantly during the decades and thanks to the good results achieved in the second half of the 1990s, when they managed to beat historical teams like Scotland, Ireland and eventually France, Italy gained the admission to the Five Nation Championship, later renamed Six Nations; Italy has taken part to the Rugby World Cup since its inauguration in 1987 and never missed an edition though to date has never gone past the group stage.

Bob Morris was involved in a dramatic collision at the notorious McPhillamy Park corner during the 1981 Bathurst 1000. Morris' Falcon, when running in 2nd place, came together with the Falcon of Christine Gibson leading to a six car pile-up that blocked the track. The other cars involved were the Commodores of Garry Rogers and Tony Edmondson, the Gemini of David Seldon and the pole winning Chevrolet Camaro Z28 of Kevin Bartlett, with others such as John Goss in his Jaguar XJS narrowly avoiding the accident by stopping in time. As the track was blocked and the race had gone past 75% of the full distance, the officials declared the race over 43 laps short of the full distance (race regulations did not allow for a restart) and so the Bob Morris/John Fitzpatrick car was awarded 2nd place behind the similar Falcon of Dick Johnson and John French.

Throughout time the club has owned a series of uniforms, when first established the uniform was a white shirt, with light blue details, and a Flag of Uruguay on the left arm, an upgrade was made the following years and a light blue uniform, similar to the one used by the Uruguay national football team was used. As time progressed, the Uruguayan identity has expanded to a South American one and the white and purple uniform was introduced to represent a team rather than a nation, and until now the club has kept the same colours, as seasons have gone past the details on the uniform have changed, the first jersey did not have sponsors and the numbers were black, a second set was introduced with minor variations. In 2009 a new design was added and it was first presented to an official match on 17 May 2009, traditionally the club uses a jersey half white and half purple, black shorts and purple socks. The away uniform is a white shirt with yellow and grey details, with black shorts and white socks.

In Sydney in 1967 Smith joined Dr Kandy's Third Eye, a psychedelic soul, R&B; band, with Mal Capewell on saxophone, Arthur Eizenberg on bass guitar, Zane Hudson on saxophone, Dave Kain on guitar (ex-Untamed), Alison McCallum on co- lead vocals, Daryl McKenzie on drums, Kevin Patterson on trumpet and Bob Walsh on organ. Smith realised "I had gone past the soul and blues area by that time and I wanted to be more creative and write more." They did not release any recordings, although Smith co-wrote tracks for the group, including "The Day Superman Got Busted". Kain later described the band to The Canberra Times Michael Foster as "well-known and successful at the time of the psychedelic movement" and of his "being made very aware by jazz musicians, experimentation with drugs." In 1968 Smith was fired from Dr Kandy's Third Eye and formed a jazz-blues ensemble, Noyes, with Bobby Gebert on piano, John Helman on bass guitar, Mick Lieber on guitar (ex-Python Lee Jackson) and Dave Ovendon on drums.
