The RSCU or Regional Street Crime Unit was formed in May 2001 and was active for duties (16 Operators were selected among 45 that were on intensive training.) The Unit was then renamed as ROSU and had around 120 Operators trained for: entry teams, riots, surveillance, special tactics driving, VIP protection, VIP buildings, and government buildings. This Unit is known as a unit that goes first where high risk is the case. The Unit successfully took place in operations along Kosovo's border with Serbia when the crossing was blocked and barricaded by local Serbian civilians and MUP members.

If a Pendulum Monster is destroyed or tributed while on the field, they do not go to the graveyard and instead go face-up into the Extra Deck, where the player can re-Pendulum Summon them at their next opportunity. Chea's mother requests that they would need a honeycomb for the wedding so both Chea and Sou set out to find one. They eventually locate one high up in the tree and eventually fasten a rope so they can climb up. Chea goes first and when he reaches the top of the tree, Sou betrays him by having his men cut the rope preventing Chea from getting down. Sou leaves Chea to die and returns to An saying that Chea has fallen to his death and wishes Sou would marry An. Chea remembers the lessons he learned from his mentor and tricks a bear into bringing him down the tree.

The SPFL launched an investigation after two different methods of penalty shootout were used in the second round matches that required the tiebreaker. Montrose's 6–5 win over Ayr United used the traditional ABAB method where one team follows the other whereas The New Saints' 6–5 win over Livingston used the trial ABBA method where one team goes first before the other takes two consecutively and then the first team takes their second. SPFL rules state that the ABAB method should be used. The mix up is suspected to have come after confusion between the Irish referee and Welsh linesmen in The New Saints-Livingston match over which method was to be used.

After Chirin goes first to take out the dog, Uou follows and is ambushed by Chirin, who reveals that he had been training to become stronger than Uou just so he could get revenge on the one that took his mother away: Uou himself. Chirin impales Uou on his horns, and the wolf admits that he is proud of Chirin before dying. An early review on RPGnet regards Munchkin as not a very serious game; the rules make this clear with phrases like "Decide who goes first by rolling the dice and arguing about the results and the meaning of this sentence and whether the fact that a word seems to be missing any effect," and "Any disputes in the rules should be settled by loud arguments with the owner of the game having the last word." There are many cards which interact with or are affected by a single other card, despite the rarity of the two cards entering play together (such as the interaction between Fowl Fiend and Chicken on Your Head or Sword of Slaying Everything Except Squid and Squidzilla). On BoardGameGeek the average user rating is 6/10. Tom Vasel of The Dice Tower was critical of the game Munchkin feeling it was overpriced, had limited re- playability, and a poor and occasionally tedious gaming experience.

After determining which player goes first by coin flip or other means, players start by shuffling their decks and drawing an initial hand, with many CCG's allowing for a player to take a mulligan on this if they do not believe their starting hand is good. Players then take turns, and while the turn format is wildly different depending on the CCG, typically is broken into distinct phases of resetting all of their resources so they may be used that turn, drawing a card, playing any number of cards by drawing from available resources, making one or more attacks on the opponent, and then a cleanup step including discarding cards to reach a maximum hand size, if necessary. Many CCGs have rules where opposing players can react to the current player's turn; an example is casting a counter-spell to an opponent's spell to cancel it such as in Magic: The Gathering. Games with such reaction systems typically define rules to determine priority of reactions as to avoid potential conflicts between card interpretations.
