In a series of events that go from bad to worse, Deborah then gets fired from her job for her boss, Hing Chan's wife, Bobo's mishandling of a contract, and then gets kicked out of her parents house where she has been staying, after her losing of the family dog triggers off an argument. With nowhere to go, Deborah ends up sleeping in the hospital next to her sister, where she meets Veg, who is visiting his mother.

Things only go from bad to worse, however, starting with his margaritas turning out slushy, then his uneasy handling of bread batter, and finally his lighting of candles, which when he leaves a trail of rose petals on the floor and stairs leading the way to the bathroom, flame up and burn the whole house. Firemen (wcfire.com) are then shown trying to fight the huge house fire to no avail, while Blake sings the finale of the song in front of the burning house. The video ends with Miranda calling Blake back, and he says he now insists they go out to dinner and he pick her up instead of them staying home. Like his video for 2010’s "God Gave Me You", (which also has an important Miranda scene), CMT took this video out of rotation after Blake & Miranda’s 2015 divorce.

After losing a Honda engine partnership deal to the BAR team in 2002 and numerous difficulties within the team (including a very public row and the sacking of Frentzen before his home GP in 2001), Jordan was forced to switch to expensive Cosworth engines. The added burden of this plus DHL withdrawing their sponsorship and Benson & Hedges toning down their sponsorship soon added up and the lack of funds made his team go from bad to worse in 2003. However, despite this, Jordan delivered an improbable race win in Brazil 2003 courtesy of Giancarlo Fisichella, the first for Fisichella and the last Formula One victory for the Ford Motor Company and the Jordan team. In 2001 Jordan sued Vodafone for allegedly breaking a three-year sponsorship agreement worth $150 million but lost the case creating further setbacks for Team Jordan.

Nikolai Chikildiyev, once a Moscow restaurant waiter, now a very ill man, decides to leave the city and with his pious, meek wife Olga and daughter Sasha goes to Zhukovo, his native village. They are shocked by the horrible state of the place, but have to settle into this murky and dangerous world of poverty, filth, ignorance, spitefulness and drunk violence. Things go from bad to worse, as at one point the fire destroys a house in the village (with locals watching helplessly and a guesting student taking upon himself the role of a lone firefighter), at another the police inspector comes to collect the arrears from the villagers and confiscate a samovar from the Chikildiyev's house. Finally, Nikolai dies (or rather gets killed by medical incompetence), and mother and daughter, almost happy now to leave all those horrors behind, set off to Moscow, begging for money on their way.

Still not content, the school dean has gotten herself assigned to be purser, saying she will oversee them and if Stromboli goes bankrupt, they are doomed to unemployment. The flight is a mixture of ordinary businessmen and a blind people's convention, which starts to run into trouble when an unexpected rain squall hits and a "mad bomber" (in an ironic sense) calmly and quietly sets his plan into motion, drugging the drink of the man sitting next to him with a powerful hallucinogenic, then taking advantage of the turmoil to plant the bomb under a passenger's seat, sneak a gas pellet into the captain's cabin to knock out the pilot, then to the cargo hold to jump out into the sky. It is assumed he dies, either from the height of the jump or from the parachute failing. Things go from bad to worse as one of the blind men, in an attempt to find the restroom, accidentally lets himself into the captain's cabin and hits the instrument panel with his white cane.
