Returning to Caitanya-Caritāmṛta Ādi chapter 12, a list of prominent disciples of Advaita Ācārya is given towards the end of that chapter. First of all, at 12.56-57, there is Śrī Yadunandan-ācārya, who was the Guru of the illustrious Śrīla Raghunātha Dāsa Goswāmī (see Vilāpa Kusumānjali, verse 4), then, at 12.83, Śrīnātha Cakravartī, who wrote a commentary to Śrīmad Bhāgavata named Caitanya-mata-manjuṣā, and who became the guru of Kavi Karṇapūra. Then there is Bhāgavatācārya Śyāmadās, who is mentioned both in Caitanya Caritāmṛta and in Advaita Prakāśa, who was defeated by Advaita Prabhu in a scholarly debate, then studied Śrīmad Bhāgavata under Advaita Prabhu, after which he received the title Bhāgavatācārya. He later also arranged Advaita Prabhu's marriage.

Route haul map of Royapuram Electric Loco shed Steam locomotive sheds used to exist at Royapuram (RPM) and Basin Bridge (for Madras) until the late 1970s. After Southern Railway set a deadline to eliminate all steam locomotive operations by 1985, a push was given towards establishing electric locomotion as the primary motive power, and the Steam locomotive shed was decommissioned. To meet the needs of exponentially increasing rail traffic on the new continuous broad gauge lines from Chennai to Kanyakumari and Palakkad with the completion of gauge conversion, the steam shed site was selected by Indian railways for a new electric locomotive shed. But in 2006, the Southern Railway planned to lease a portion of the terminus to the corporate sector for developing cement and fertilizer depots.

In 1916 Hanna Sheehy Skeffington had relinquished her role to travel to America and campaign for justice after the death of her husband. This left Bennett as the joint editor of the paper with fellow IWFL member Mary Bourke-Dowling. During the time that Bennett took over the paper had a number of debts, and had shrunk from its original eight pages to four, with one of these pages consisting entirely of advertisements. To combat this, Bennett wanted more space to be given towards trade unions (to increase sales) and in 1920 the IWWU and the Irish Nurses' Organisation started using the paper as their official journal – despite Skeffington writing in it that it needed to stay distinctly unaffiliated to any party.

Vidyapati realizes that standing up to Tun Tun Singh has cost him his job and his wife begs that he go and apologize, but Tun Tun Singh degrades Vidyapati and he leaves in shame. Despite the efforts of his wife, Saraswati, to get Tun Tun Singh to rehire her husband, Vidyapati graciously rejects the offer to return to work because of the degradation he has given towards him and, most of all, his daughter is too much to bear. Tun Tun Singh vows to ruin Vidyapati's pride by destroying Krishna, his hope and aspiration. Krishna passes the MAINS exam and Babloo arranges for her to get some training with the deputy collector, but Tun Tun Singh and Bihari set her up in the act of bribing him and Vidyapati gets arrested.

The 90 acres (he already owned the 30 acres) was being given to Ryan for his services in the Royal Marines and the NSW Corps. The corresponding entry in the Register of Land Grants states Cancelled, and a New Grant given to Robert Ryan for 90 acres in addition to this Allotment, by Governor Hunter. Shawa The entry against the list of all grants and leases of land registered in the Colonial Secretary's Office for Robert Ryan's 120 acres says 90 acres of this grant is given towards the complement Ryan is entitled to of 160 for his services to the Marines & NSW Corps; the other 30 is a Grant of Samuel Lightfoot's which was purchased by the present proprietor & is now cancelled in the first Register folio 78.

These playing fields have their origins in an appeal launched shortly after the death of George V in March 1936. Rather than finance the entire cost of a few schemes, grants were given towards the cost of as many fields as possible, the balance being raised by the local authority or other organisation providing the field and accepting responsibility for its maintenance. In most cases, the responsible body entered into a Deed of Dedication declaring that the recreation ground shall "be preserved in perpetuity as a Memorial to His Late Majesty under the provisions of the KGFF and shall henceforth be known as a 'King George’s Field'." The NPFA would act, as administrator, to look at and consider proposals in order to allocate grants. A Charity Commission Scheme was made on 1 December 1965 passing the trusteeship of the Foundation to the NPFA and, among other things, widening the objects of the Foundation to include the "preservation" of the King George’s Fields.

Shemon X, elected in 1600, is said to have died in 1638, according to a letter of Eliya XIII cited by Tisserant. Information on the patriarchal succession in the Qudshanis patriarchate for the remainder of the seventeenth and the whole of the 18th century is equally scanty. Several of the Qudshanis patriarchs who succeeded Shemon X corresponded with the Vatican, but the surviving correspondence does not enable individual patriarchs to be distinguished. The following list of 17th- and 18th-century Qudshanis patriarchs has conventionally been adopted, most recently by Fiey and (provisionally) by Wilmshurst: Shemon XI (1638–56), Shemon XII (1656–62), Shemon XIII Denha (1662–1700), Shemon XIV Shlemun (1700–40), Shemon XVI Mikhail Mukhtas (1740–80), and Shemon XVI Yohannan (1780–1820). These names and reign-dates were first given towards the end of the 19th century by the Anglican missionary William Ainger Wigram. A recently discovered list of Qudshanis patriarchs compiled after the First World War by the bishop Eliya of Alqosh, however, gives a completely different set of dates: Shemon X (1600–39); Shemon XI (1639–53); Shemon XII (1653–92); Shemon XIII Denha (1692–1700); and Shemon XIV Shlemun (1700–17).

Towards the end of his time in Italy, Barbour said that he succeeded in securing one or more fellowships from the Rockefeller Foundation to study long range, short-wave radio broadcasting in Europe.Bridgeport Sunday Post of 22 January 1967 He claimed, in an interview given towards the end of his life,Louisville Courier-Journal, 30 October 1973 that he entered into radio broadcasting after meeting Guglielmo Marconi who lamented to him that no-one was utilizing the potential of radio as an educational tool and encouraged Barbour to get into radio work. After he returned to the US in 1937, Barbour became director of Inter-American Broadcasts at radio station WIXAL, Boston in 1937,Bridgeport Sunday Post, January 22, 1967 joining a growing movement attempting to promote the use of short wave radio as an international cultural and political tool.WIXAL was a non-commercial station on the campus of Harvard University which was financed by private donations and a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation and was devoted entirely to educational and cultural programs (Harvard Crimson, February 11, 1937) including the broadcast of university lectures.
