Brooks is forced to leave because of a large electrical storm, just before the "Diablo Giant" Vargas rises from the site's detritus. The next day, the group finds a large indentation in the ground and giant-sized armor and other artifacts. They discuss the possibility that like the lizard Vargas has been in a state of suspended animation and is still alive. Later that night, the body of the 500-year-old Vargas, revived by a lightning strike, stalks the group and eventually kills Anne Brown.

Only the first few episodes of the series featured actual battle scenes between Leopardon and the giant-sized Machine BEMs. As the series progressed the dramatic portions of the episodes were made longer, while battle scenes were made shorter in order to keep up with the running time. Because of this, there were numerous episodes in which Leopardon would throw his sword immediately after transforming from Marveller, finishing off the Machine Bem in a single blow. Bill Mantlo briefly followed Wolfman as writer of the series and wrote a crossover with Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #42 (May 1980). Disney Interactive Studios has been present at multiple conventions (including the Electronic Entertainment Expo and San Diego Comic- Con International), promoting Disney Infinity 2.0. Free figures were handed out at E3 2014, and at Blogger Bash's Sweet Suite 2014. In promotion of both Disney Infinity 2.0 and Big Hero 6, Disney created a giant-sized version of the Baymax Disney Infinity 2.0 figure. At San Diego Comic-Con Disney set up a pop-up shop, which allowed the public to play the game, meet special guests and participate in giveaways.

The eponymous original limited series ran in 1995 and was published under Malibu Comics' Bravura imprint. This was followed by story that ran in Dark Horse Presents #125–127 (October–November, 1997) that was collected by Dark Horse Comics into a 48-page comic book as The Nocturnals: Witching Hour (May 1998). After the debut issue was a success, Bolling was assigned full-time to Little Archie, and was permitted to sign his stories starting with the second issue. From 1957 to 1965, Bolling worked exclusively on Little Archie, writing, drawing, inking and lettering approximately half the stories in each giant- sized quarterly issue.

The representative genus, Therizinosaurus, is derived from the Greek θερίζω (therízo, meaning scythe, reap or cut) and σαῦρος (sauros, meaning lizard). Taking place partly on Earth and partly in the atmosphere of Jupiter, the story tells of Howard Falcon, the captain of a new and experimental giant-sized helium-filled airship. However, an editor of Harper & Row had his drawing and offhandedly suggested he would turn this drawing into a story for children. The Sword is a monthly comic book limited series created by the Luna Brothers and published by American company Image Comics. It is a fantasy story set in modern-day about a young woman named Dara Brighton seeking revenge on a trio of siblings with unique abilities. Dara's conflict with the siblings revolves around, and is aided by, an unusual sword.

As early paleontologists and researchers found more dinosaur bones in the surrounding area, they attributed them all to M. bucklandii since it was the only named and described dinosaur at this point in history. Therefore, the species was initially described and classified by a mass of possibly unrelated characteristics. Modern paleontology first began to approach the problematic cladistic separation of Megalosauridae during the early 20th century. Fredrich von Huene separated carnivorous theropods, which had all been grouped into the broad category of megalosaurids, into two distinct families of larger, more giant sized and smaller, more lightly built theropods.

In 2006, Marvel Comics published the five-issue miniseries X-Statix Presents: Dead Girl, which featured Dead Girl teaming up with Doctor Strange to combat a group of villains who have returned from the dead. The Dollar Comic format was used through issue #259 (November 1983). The series continued in a 52-page giant-sized format through issue #281 (January 1986) before returning to a standard 32 page size with #282 (March 1986).

In Justice Society of America 80 Page Giant Sized (2010), it was revealed that Tom's mother had the same powers as her son, but would change involuntarily every month. After a minor battle involving Ted, Marilyn, and the first Huntress, Ted took Marilyn to see Doctor Mid-Nite who cured her of the involuntary aspect of her power, allowing her to change at will instead. While she is unconscious, Ted told Doctor Mid-Nite to "fix her and send her on her way" to protect her from his dangerous walk of life. However, Doctor Mid-Nite discovered that she was pregnant and revealed this to his now conscious patient.

At New York Comic Con 2013, Marvel announced that they had solidified their rights to Miracleman and that Neil Gaiman would finish the story he had started 25 years earlier. The series adopted a giant-sized format, with each issue containing a reprint of the corresponding issue of the Eclipse Comics series, reprints of select Mick Anglo Marvelman stories, and non-fiction material such as essays, photos and Marvelman design sketches. The first issue, reprinting the recolored and relettered stories from Warrior #1 & 2/Miracleman #1, was released on January 15, 2014. The reprints continued, collecting remastered and recolored work of the original run, with hardcover collections following.

Upstairs in the house, Kung Fu and Prof find Gorgeous wearing a bridal gown, who then reveals her aunt's diary to them. Kung Fu follows Gorgeous as she leaves the room, only to find Sweet's body trapped in a grandfather clock. Panic-driven, the remaining girls barricade the upper part of the house while Prof, Fantasy and Kung Fu read the aunt's diary. They are interrupted by the giant-sized head of Gorgeous, who reveals that her aunt died many years ago waiting for her fiancée to return from World War II and that her spirit remains, eating unmarried girls who arrive at her home.

Investigations in 2010 and 2011 found that the orbital period of the two stars in UZ Fornacis varied cyclically. Researchers attributed this to two possible gas giant sized planets around the two stars, perturbing their orbits and causing the orbital period to vary. As of 2019, there is not enough information to explain all of the period variations, since the planets would have to be in eccentric orbits to fit the data, and that would cause the orbits to be dynamically unstable. Several more variants are shown in Countdown: Arena #4, including a President Atom, a robot called Quantum Mechanix, Kid Quantum of the Legion of Super-Heroes, Captain Adamma, Quantum Boy, an anthropomorphic wolf version, a Soviet Atom from Earth-30, a Doctor Manhattan-lookalike, an energy based-Atom who makes calculations during his attacks, and a giant-sized actual atom. Grant Morrison's Final Crisis: Superman Beyond 3D (2008) depicts a Captain Allen Adam from Earth-4, a cross between the original Charlton version, Superman, Reed Richards and Doctor Manhattan. The DC Multiverse is refreshed following Flashpoint, but this last Grant Morrison-created Captain Atom is a main character in the 2016 comic The Multiversity – Pax Americana (2015).

Even at the age of 35, Donald was considered one of the most durable fighters in the world, but the heavy hitting Klitschko surprisingly stopped the veteran, decking him three times in the 10th round. Although things looked over, Donald seemingly reinvented himself in November 2004 with an upset win over the legendary Evander Holyfield, winning nearly every round against the Hall of Famer ex-champ for the NABC World Champion Title. In 2005, Donald controversially lost a title eliminator bout to giant-sized Russian Nicolay Valuev which would have earned him the right to fight John Ruiz for the WBA belt.

In retaliation, Luthor allows the rest of the Legion of Doom to go to Lena's location with him provided that they help him find Lena and bring her back. When at the beach, the Legion of Doom members end up taking part in some spring break activities. After an incident where Penguin, Scarecrow, Brainiac, Riddler, and Black Manta mistook the Justice League's private beach for a nude beach (since Penguin thought that they were the same thing), Lex Luthor discovers that Lena's boyfriend is actually Superboy (who is at the beach with the Justice League). The Legion of Doom and the Justice League briefly do battle over this before teaming up to fight a giant-sized Starro.

The original concept of the show (when it was going to be called Unbalance) was ultimately used for a 13-episode horror anthology series entitled Horror Theater Unbalance that was produced by Tsuburaya Productions in 1973. Various Ultra Q monsters were reused or redressed for various monsters in Ultraman. Kemur and Ragon (both of them now giant-sized) returned, while the Garamon suit was reused and repaired to serve as Pigmon. Other suits were altered to play other monsters, such as Peguila being altered into Chandorah, Kemur being altered into Alien Zetton, Pagos being altered into Neronga (and later Magular and Gabora), while the head of the Cicada Man was modified to become the head of Alien Baltan.

The primary science objectives of OCEANUS are to study Uranus' interior structure, magnetosphere, and the Uranian atmosphere. The required mission budget is estimated at $1.2 billion.

This pattern also happened when Lord Zedd was introduced as well; in addition to insulting the now apparently incompetent golden warrior, he often blamed Goldar for his own failures, and had a habit of silencing him frequently. Goldar also pilots a Zord known as Cyclopsis, an ancient war machine owned by Rita, but the Zord was defeated by the Rangers' Ultrazord after a prolonged battle. He was also one of Bulk and Skull's more memorable encounters with a monster, where he picked up a bus with the duo inside while giant-sized. When Lord Zedd arrived on Rita's Moon palace in the second season, Goldar eagerly defected and regained his wings in the process.

In the Dexter's Laboratory episode "The Big Sister", Dee Dee becomes a 65-foot giantess after eating an experimental cookie. The Animaniacs character Katie Ka-Boom sometimes grew giant sized before she turned into a monster. In the Phineas and Ferb episode "Attack of the 50 Foot Sister", Candace Flynn grows into a giantess after she uses some of Phineas and Ferb's growth potion. In the episode "Pony Tale" of Genie in the House, Max's niece Louise gets left with the girls, and when she learned of the genie's existence, she made a wish of wanting to get big, in which the genie was forced to accept her command and made her into 55 foot tall giantess for a brief time.

The film depicts Lang as a former systems engineer at VistaCorp and petty criminal who becomes the successor to Hank Pym as Ant-Man, when Pym allows him to acquire a suit that allows him to shrink in size but increase in strength. Lang then undertakes the journey of a petty criminal becoming a hero by fighting Darren Cross / Yellowjacket. In Captain America: Civil War, Lang is recruited to fight alongside Captain America's team of the Avengers, against Iron Man's faction of the Avengers and the Sokovia Accords. During the ensuing battle, he reveals that not only can he shrink using the Pym Particles, but he can also grow to giant-sized proportions, although doing so puts great stress on his body.

In the week before release, Blizzard arranged to have three giant-sized boxes (approximately tall) of various Overwatch heroes, as if being sold as packaged action figures, put on display across the globe at Hollywood, Paris, and Busan, South Korea. Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner appeared in the 1988 Touchstone/Amblin film Who Framed Roger Rabbit; they are seen silhouetted by the elevator doors, and in full in the final scene with other characters. Wile E. Coyote has appeared twice in Family Guy: his first episode, "I Never Met the Dead Man", depicts him riding in a car with Peter Griffin; when Peter runs over the Road Runner and asks if he hit "that ostrich", Wile E. tells him to keep going. She would later attempt to kill the host of the Celtic demigod Bran in order to stop his benefactor's giant-sized rampage but was unwittingly pre-empted from doing so by Hercules.

This team is a group-for-hire who operated out of a strip club owned by a sleazy, or sleazier, version of Maxwell Lord and his moll, a degraded and somewhat dimwitted version of Sue Dibny. The Power Posse consisted of a giant-sized G'nort who began a destructive rampage, sado- masochistic incestuous versions of Captain Marvel (who talked with a lisp) and Mary Marvel, who called herself Mistress Mary, a murderous Ice, now a stripper using the name Tiffany, an even stupider version of Booster working as a bartender, and bouncer Metamorpho. The Fire of this universe had been killed by Tiffany and Sue had divorced Ralph. Doctor Fate finally brings the team back to their correct dimension after they have to do battle with doppelgängers of themselves.

Rachnera enjoys annoying most of the household and hones her web-making skills by setting traps for everyone which typically result in them being unwillingly tied up in bondage positions (except Lilith [see below], who turns out to be a masochist). The only one she can't ensnare is Suu - the webs simply pass through her - who usually responds with launching sexual counter- assaults on Rachnee, much to the amusement of the other home-stays. However, Rachera's skills as a trapper also make her an expert fisherwoman, and her thread-spinning skills are not only useful in making her own clothes from her own silk but also prove invaluable in taking down a giant-sized slime liminal trying to absorb Kimihito. Coffee affects Rachnera like alcohol since Arachnes, like regular spiders, become intoxicated from caffeine.

Giant-sized Smarties candies In 1949, Edward Dee, a second generation candymaker from England, first began producing candy rolls in a rented New Jersey factory in Bloomfield with one wrapping machine and one tablet presser which was a repurposed pellet-making machine. Dee, a Cambridge University graduate, called his product "Smarties" to "encourage people to pursue an education." His family produces a similar candy in England through Swizzels Matlow Co. Initially, Dee took the candy by car to small grocery and tobacco stores. He later moved his American operations to Elizabeth, New Jersey, in 1959 and then again to its current location in Union Township in 1967. Ce De Candy's Canadian operations were first established in Toronto, Ontario, in 1963, and were later moved to Newmarket in 1988.

The are the antagonist of the second half of the series, composed of ten giant-sized deities residing in the Valley of the Gods until they were revived upon N Ma's death to deliver on mankind with any interference having grave consequences for both the surface world and Magitopia. The reason for this is because the Hades gods' deaths serve an alternate purpose to provide N Ma with selecting a vessel among the survivors. Each deities follows a self-made code of conduct called the Dark Precept, using the Slab of Judgement to pick the chosen god to execute Divine Punishment with a Dark Aurora heralding their arrival to the surface, assuming a human-size form to carry out the punishment. Should they choose to play games with anyone, they must abide by the rules they made.

The following month, Marisa Tomei was in talks for the role of May Parker, later appearing in Civil War. In the film, Parker, who has spent the last six months as a local costumed crimefighter named Spider-Man, is recruited by Tony Stark / Iron Man to join his team of Avengers to stop Steve Rogers / Captain America and his rogue faction of Avengers, who oppose the Sokovia Accords, from fleeing with fugitive Bucky Barnes. During the fight with Rogers and his team, Parker, utilizing a Stark-upgraded version of his initial makeshift suit, proves to be a formidable opponent, and implements a tactic with which he and Vision disable Scott Lang / Ant-Man in his giant- sized form. Upon returning home, Parker discovers some of the StarkTech features of the suit he was given by Stark.

At secondary school in Recklinghausen, Hape Kerkeling and some fellow students formed a band (Gesundfutter, meaning: health fodder) and published a record (Hawaii). Kerkeling started his career as a comedian in radio, working for various German broadcasting companies, such as WDR and BR. The real breakthrough came in 1984/85 when, still aged only 19, Kerkeling got a role in the Känguru [sic] television comedy show (the German word for kangaroo deliberately spelt without an "h" at the end although this broke the spelling rules at that time). The best-known character in this show was the little boy Hannilein, played by Kerkeling, an irritating child with red hair in a pudding-basin style, dungarees and sitting on giant-sized chairs, who commented on the world of adults. Later came guest appearances and sketches on the Radio Bremen show Extratour.

Having concluded his passenger was taken, Commander Kermit sets out to find Miss Piggy while also collecting parts to repair his ship's broken generator. Commander Kermit possesses the ability to boost and hover with his space boots in this mission, while also using a bubble gun similar in appearance and execution to the Phasers from Star Trek to fend off the native fauna. The end villain is revealed to be a giant-sized Pepe the King Prawn who is madly in love with First Mate Miss Piggy and has since become the king of Koozebane following a cheap vacation. After using his molecular reducer to reduce Pepe back to his original size making the planet Koozebane not a menace, Commander Kermit rescues First Mate Piggy and they resume their mission to explore the galaxy and look for good places to eat.

The first issue was published in 1995 and followed an irregular publishing schedule through its fortieth issue, which was published in 2005. In a 2007 interview with Michael Lorah for the Newsarama website, Lapham revealed that the series, including the final issue of the current story arc, was on hold indefinitely: In 2009, a new ten-page story titled, Stray Bullets: Open the Goddamn Box appeared in Noir: A Collection of Crime Comics, an anthology book published by Dark Horse Comics. In March 2014, Image Comics ended the hiatus of Stray Bullets with the publication of the final issue of the HiJinks and Derring-Do arc, and the simultaneous launch of a new series and arc titled Stray Bullets: Killers. A giant-sized softcover trade paperback edition (The Uber Alles Edition) collecting all forty-one issues of the original series was also released by Image Comics.

On two occasions she has grown to giant-size, with a corresponding increase in her intelligence, by accidentally ingesting certain chemicals: first when she was knocked into some illegally dumped nutrients by a rampaging Kii,, then after she was injected with liminal Royal Jelly while being trying to protect Kimihito from another giant-sized slime liminal. Suu usually wears a yellow rubberized raincoat and boots (given to her by Kimihito) out of necessity. This is because any other clothes will get soaked in slime, and all small objects will pass through her membrane skin and stay suspended in her body fluid. The only time when Suu can be dangerous is when she is severely dehydrated—then she will attack anybody to gather their sweat and other fluids; this will usually end up as some kind of sexual assault on the other girls (later, she learns to use these assaults for her own advantage, and her favorite assault target is Rachnera).

During the 1986–1987 season of Muppet Babies, there was a segment in the episode "The Weirdo Zone" upon which Baby Fozzie deals with how he once faced an 'Attack of the Silly Tomatoes'. The segment used clips from the movie and concluded with Baby Fozzie using a giant-sized ketchup bottle to capture the Silly Tomatoes (he told bad jokes and the large tomatoes launched themselves at him, only to be caught inside the bottle when he ducked out of the way). It became one of the higher-rated episodes of the season, so much that New World Pictures (the owner of Marvel Productions, which made Muppet Babies) approached Four Square about making a sequel to Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Four Square had never intended to make a sequel but when New World approached them with a two-million dollar budget towards filming a potential sequel, John De Bello, Costa Dillon and Stephen Peace got to work on crafting a script.

Another talent (instinctively but unwillingly acquired and later eagerly demanded) is his skill at and technique of milking Minotaurs and Pans by hand (a skill that later makes him a target for the Satyr girls who also work at the farm). Almost none of the other characters call Kimihito by his actual name, except for Ms. Smith in the first chapter and Manako as of Chapter 42. The girls seem to fall in love with him simply because he is nice, friendly and modest, and because he treats the "monster" girls as ordinary, real people — not as exotic or dangerous monsters; he is so unconsciously adept at this (perhaps because it is part of his personality) that he seems to become friends with other liminals with astonishing ease. He is also not afraid to unhesitatingly put himself in physical danger to protect or save his liminal house-guests, whom he thinks of as family, as demonstrated on several occasions such as bodily shielding Centorea from a sword attack, trying to save an injured Mero or nearly being absorbed by a giant-sized slime liminal while trying to save Suu.

The theme of satirizing Canadian clichés continued with Michael Bublé dressed as a Mountie performing "The Maple Leaf Forever" first straight, followed by four scantily clad singer/dancers dressed as Mounties stripping his Mountie uniform to reveal a tuxedo leading to a whimsical Vegas-style arrangement of the song as a procession of giant Mounties, dancing Mounties, hockey players, giant table hockey players wearing gold medals (as Canada won both the men's and women's tournaments), complete with a child dressed as a puck for said game, followed by voyageurs and lumberjacks in dancing canoes, bare-midriff dancing and ceiling hung maple leaves, and last but not least, several giant inflatable beavers and flying moose. "The Maple Leaf Forever" was sung using a modern version rather than its traditional lyrics and was arranged in a medley with other pieces. Hockey Night in Canada's former, but still iconic, signature tune, "The Hockey Theme", was played during the giant-sized hockey match. The entrance of the voyageurs was accompanied by the traditional French-Canadian song "Envoyons d'l'avant nos gens" performed by La Bottine Souriante, while the cultural section ended with Bublé singing the last line of "O Canada".

Although small, Microtron is a very resourceful R2-D2-style character and very supportive of all team members. Warping through the Spacewall, an energy barrier between the Microverse and our much larger universe, and becoming trapped for a time on Earth where they enlarge to the size of action figures, the team encounter the to-them giant-sized Florida teenager Steve Coffin, his ex-astronaut father Ray (who is briefly transformed into the first Captain Universe), the Man-Thing and the evil cyborg scientist Professor Prometheus before returning to the Microverse. After a series of battles against Karza (who, among his many other powers, can turn into a centaur and fire his fists like rockets) and his genetically-engineered army of vicious and obedient Dog Soldiers, the Micronauts triumph and Karza is apparently killed. Rann is able to claim victory due to the possession of the Enigma Force - a semi-sentient power source that bonded with him during his period of suspended animation and appeared in the form of floating, glowing green entities known as the Time Travelers - which enables him to perform incredible feats.
