A high school girl named Donna Keppel (Snow) is traumatized after witnessing her former teacher, Richard Fenton (Schaech), brutally murder her entire family after he had become dangerously obsessed with her. Three years later, as Donna gets ready for her senior prom, Fenton escapes from custody, follows her to the hotel hosting the prom, and kills anybody who gets in the way of his reunion with Donna.

While the precinct gets ready for Dozerman's funeral, The Vulture (Dean Winters) continues annoying everyone with his behavior. In an attempt to mitigate it, Jake (Andy Samberg) attempts to befriend him, but the Vulture discovers that he is not sincere, and retaliates by ordering Jake to end his relationship with Amy (Melissa Fumero) or face being demoted to beat cop. At the funeral ceremony, Jake and Amy try to show to their Chief of Detectives evidence of the Vulture's actions, to which they record him demanding they end their relationship. However, their attempts to show it are problematic when Dozerman's wife confuses Jake with one of Dozerman's friends who went on fishing trips involving prostitutes that nearly ended their marriage.

Stoick and Gobber struggle to gather the sheep, so Stoick orders Hiccup and the gang to round up the sheep as he gets ready for the Regatta; if he has to hear Sven scream any more, he'll put a hook through his own head just to end the torture. While in the process of catching the sheep, the Riders end up turning it in to an impromptu competition against each other in getting as many sheep as possible; they all arrive back at the pen and discover they all got three sheep each. Astrid points out that there is no winner in this 'competition'. Sven then cries out, alarmed that his prized black sheep is still missing and hoping that it didn't fall down the well again.

Sixteen years later, Margaret and Duncan (voiced by Jesse Head) are moving into a new house as he gets ready for his first day at a new school. However, Duncan fears that his orange skin and appetite for coal will make others think of him as a freak and a prime target for bullies. At school, he quickly develops a crush on its popular girl Jenna (voiced by Amy Davidson) and makes an enemy out of her ex-boyfriend Troy Adams (voiced by Josh Keaton).

The finale was written by Shandling and Tolan.

Later that night, Bean gets ready for bed (after using his new electric toothbrush to clean his teeth and ears, reading an Asterix comic with Teddy and then putting Teddy to sleep and finally shooting out the incandescent light bulb with a pistol) but has trouble falling asleep. He scares away noisy cats outside the window by disguising himself as a dog and barking, then tries sleeping in different positions (along with sleeping with his face on pillow until he can't breathe), then watches a chess game on TV. As he nearly falls asleep, he becomes startled when the television channel cuts to a Bodyform advertisement via a star swipe featuring loud rock music. Finally, he takes out a picture of a flock of sheep and begins counting them, first with his finger and then, after losing count a few times, with the assistance of a calculator. When he sees the number of sheep (albeit inaccurate) on the calculator display, he finally falls asleep.
