In flashbacks during Breaking Bad, it is shown that Hector often punished Tuco along with the Cousins as kids. When first introduced in Better Call Saul, Tuco is second-in-command of the Salamanca drug family in Albuquerque under Hector.

Avik agrees to do so and so a fake marriage ceremony takes place with other witnesses to please the landlady.

With Jack forced to pick and choose his words, communicating with others becomes difficult and full of misunderstandings. These misunderstandings cost him two book deals, his job, and his wife Caroline. She walks out on him when she thinks his sudden silence is due to his not loving her anymore.

However, her first day as an intern nurse goes wrong in every possible way. First she is almost late and then she is put in charge of an unruly patient, who is a small-time triad boss. Her patient becomes paranoid that someone is trying to kill him, gets high on cocaine in the hospital bathroom, and then tries to escape from the hospital while almost dying all in one day. Nick ignores his wife's advances (not for the first time) and berates her appearance, housekeeping, and cooking before heading to a business appointment, mentioning on his way out that they have been invited to dinner at Eva Blue's house. Elise calls her lover over, and Nick buys a meat cleaver at a hardware store.

Lee is worried he will be killed for losing the drugs. At this point, everyone gets high on ketamine – Shell is still upset about Dave; Lee is worried about being killed; Dave is frustrated that Lee has withdrawn from him; and Billie, a habitual user, needs no excuse. Lee has a drug overdose and dies. At Lee's funeral, Dave sings a song, For All of Us. A few months later, Dave is apparently back on the road to success and sings Positive role model to end the show on a high (the 2015 and 2019 productions replaced Positive Role Model by Vocal as the closing song).
