Slippery becomes disillusioned, and leaves Willie and Tadpole behind in the middle of nowhere; Tadpole curses the hippies by pointing a bone, and the van promptly breaks down. Willie then gets a ride with a passing truck carrying the members of a football team.

During the concert, Alcatraaz drops his microphone, which lands in Bart's hands, he therefore challenges him to a rap battle. Bart does an impromptu energetic rap, winning the battle, and gets a ride home from the concert with Alcatraaz in his limo, meeting 50 Cent on the way. After being dropped off at home, he overhears Marge and Homer who are angry at him for disobeying them and going to the concert.

Cody gets his brother Alex to make sure his parents do not find out that he has disappeared by giving him the $5,000 the CIA gave him. Knowing Natalie's location via a tracking device in a necklace he gave her as a birthday present, Cody breaks into the CIA weapons hold and steals a rocket powered snowboard and other devices to rescue Natalie. Cody gets a ride to the top of the mountain and snowboards to the factory where Natalie is held.

After Drew (Drew Carey) plays an elaborate practical joke on his office enemy Mimi Bobeck (Kathy Kinney), he gloats and says that she will not be able to better it. Mimi seeks revenge on Drew and a couple of days later, he wakes up on the Great Wall of China without his passport. Drew finds a tape recorder in his pocket and listens to a message from Mimi, who taunts him about his predicament. Drew manages to gets a ride into the nearest village, where he meets Ming (Lin Liu), a young woman who speaks English.

He's shown around the college by Father Walter Race who tells him there are government agents in the area investigating a fallen meteorite. He also meets an assistant from the medical department, Hector North, who invites him to stay with him and his 'friend', James Montague, if he fails to find lodgings in Goffs Falls. On the way to find lodgings he meets precociously intelligent thirteen-year-old, Elspeth, who suggests he tries Mrs Macey's boarding house.

The TV crew, oblivious to Leo's discomfort, suggest having Bob on the show as well. Leo makes a fool out of himself during the interview while Bob is relaxed and speaks glowingly of Leo and the book, unintentionally stealing the spotlight. Leo throws a tantrum and attempts to have Bob institutionalized, but Bob is soon released after befriending the hospital staff and telling them jokes, demonstrating his sanity and showing that he has made real therapeutic progress due to his time with Dr. Marvin's family. Forced to retrieve Bob, Leo abandons him in the middle of nowhere, but Bob quickly gets a ride back to Leo's house while various mishaps delay Leo.
