The Amorites in general built large palaces that bear architectural similarities to old Babylonian-era palaces. Although he initially intended to use his censorship responsibilities to address some of the increasingly shrill attacks of the theatre critics, the inherent tensions in a position that made him responsible for regulating his own area of responsibility became increasingly stark, and he became entangled in conflict. It is not reported whether he actually expressed relief when the theatrical censorship responsibilities were removed from him in 1823. The Political Report signalled no major changes from the political report given to the 8th National Congress. However, there were some minor changes. For instance, previously party documents had stated that the party and state's long term policy was "to develop the commodity-based multi-sector economy operating in accordance with the state- managed, socialist-orientated market mechanism", but the political report to the 9th National Congress condensed this into a single phrase, "to develop a socialist-oriented market economy." The political report still gave prominence to Hồ Chí Minh Thought, the period of transition to socialism (which can be shortened by "orderly steps and big leaps forward"), the leading role given to the state and cooperatives in the economy, and class struggle.

In Article 1, the treaty began by establishing that each country would seek to resolve any international disputes peacefully. A number of prominent business leaders offered support to National Coding Week including Brian Doll VP of GitHub, Prince Andrew, Congressman Kevin McCarthy and Tim Lovejoy. Boris Johnson the Mayor of London stated that “Coding is a language that is increasingly important for both young people and adults to understand, but it can be an intimidating prospect. Braniff Airways Cofounder and President Thomas Elmer Braniff called the Civil Aeronautics Act of 1938, the Magna Carta of Aviation because it revolutionized the entire industry into a cohesive whole that gave prominence to the air carriers in the United States. The Act, signed into law on June 23, 1938, transferred the responsibility of non-military aviation from the Bureau of Air Commerce to the newly formed Civil Aeronautics Agency to oversee the operation of all of the nation's airlines including for economic reasons as well as safety needs and requirements. Airlines were now required to be issued a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to prove that their service was viable to the nation's air travel needs. Upon enactment of the Act, it was immediately recommended that Pan American and Pan American Grace Airways be issued this certificate.

In 2007 (the twenty-fifth year of the Shadow line) Honda sold three different Shadow 750 cruisers, the original chain-drive Spirit, the shaft-drive Aero and the first Spirit VT750C2. Canadian automotive journalist David Booth said "that the VT750C2 is essentially the mechanicals of the VT750C Aero mated to the styling of the VT750D Spirit, with a few essential tweaks." The C2 model inherited its 750cc engine from the Aero, with a CV carburetor for North America and a PGM-FI throttle body elsewhere. The VT750C2 Spirit came by its frame layout from the VT750C Aero as well, but Honda's designers adjusted the new Spirit's geometry to give it a drag-bike or chopper-style appearance. A wheelbase stretched to , a rake angle of 34°30' along with noticeable triple-tree offset gave prominence to bare forks and a 21 inch front wheel (a first for Honda cruisers).
