In parts the dialogue seems unnatural (it does not ring true that Adam's future-wife would introduce herself to his son, whose mother died shortly after he was born, with "I think you'd better call me mum") while some decisions border on corny (rewind sound effects convey a flashback scene) and should have been avoided altogether.
