The original part of the Wing–Allore House, dating from approximately 1829, is a two-story, red brick, gable-front Italianate structure. Smaller additions were built on the side and rear at some point during ht 19th century, and further additions, mostly complementary flat- roofed structures, were added after 1939 when the house was converted to a funeral parlor. The complete structure now encompasses 9190 square feet.

Acquired by the University in 1982 for $115,000 to be used as a student residence, Wyoming House was constructed in 1901 and originally known as Jefferson Towne House. In 1878, he moved the previous house to another lot and built the current structure to replace the earlier house. Lilienfeld lived there until his death in 1899. The house was owned by a number of owners for the next few decades, until 1932 when John Donovan began leasing it for use as a funeral parlor. Night of the Demons 2 was released in 1994, with the story picking up six years after the end of the previous film. The story follows the character of Angela's younger sister Melissa as she and several of her fellow students visit Hull House on Halloween. Unlike its predecessor, which took place entirely inside of the funeral parlor, the sequel has demonic activity occurring outside of the limits of the property on the school's campus.

In the 1910s, religious services were also held in the building. In 1920, the state's fire marshal shut down the opera house over safety code violations, as the building had no fire escape and its seats were not attached to the floor. The building's owner, William A. McKnight, considered the changes too expensive to be worth undertaking and never reopened the opera house. McKnight continued to run a funeral parlor and hardware store in the building's commercial spaces through 1950.

The D. W. Griffith House is a historic building in La Grange, Kentucky in the United States. It was owned by movie director D. W. Griffith, who rose to fame with his movies Birth of a Nation and Intolerance. The house was originally constructed in 1905 as a home for a Charles and Sue Smith, but it later became a funeral parlor. Griffith bought it as a residence for his mother Mary in 1913, who lived there until her death a year later.
Pasquale 'Patsy' Caggiano (August 31, 1909 – April 13, 1972) was a Massachusetts politician who served as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives and as an At Large City Councilor and the 49th Mayor of Lynn, Massachusetts. Caggiano was orphaned as a child, and went into the mortuary business, opening up a funeral parlor in Winthrop. Caggiano served on the Lynn City Council from 1950 to 1951. From 1952 to 1957 he was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
In 1934, at age 57, Walters died of bronchial pneumonia in her New York home at 236 West 70th Street in Manhattan. Vada befriends Shelly DeVoto, the new makeup artist at Harry's funeral parlor, who provides her with guidance. Vada also develops a crush on her fifth-grade school teacher, Mr. Bixler, and hears about an adult poetry writing class that he is teaching. Vada steals some money from the cookie jar in Shelly's trailer to cover the cost of the class. When advised to write about what is in her soul, it emerges that Vada fears that she killed her mother.
On November 28, 2018, Everett City Council approved funding for the expansion of the Evergreen Branch. Operations ceased at the branch location on December 24, 2018, and the renovated library reopened on December 6, 2019. The original Carnegie building, located at 3001 Oakes, still stands but no longer houses the library. Over the years, it has been used as a funeral parlor, housed Snohomish County executive offices, and other County functions; it is currently the home of the Carnegie Resource Center for social services.

His Void is a gun that forces out other people's Voids, though it can also be used as a regular gun.
In the funeral parlor, the last rites typically last until noontime. The body is encoffined in a farewell room where immediate relatives dress in white costumes during the vigil and funeral; colourful clothing is forbidden. Women wear a white skirt with a sack-like top, while men wear white gowns with a white band tied around the forehead. The coffin is placed in the front of the room for a 'last glance,' and is half open exposing the upper portion of the deceased's body.

Suspicious, Shaft tells Arna that he wants to inspect Asby and Kelly’s partnership papers, warning Kelly he intends to protect Arna. Bollin reveals to Shaft that Asby and Kelly were running a numbers racket with the insurance company and funeral parlor as profitable fronts but because they agreed to keep the scam clean, he looked the other way.
The Lucien Boneparte Covell House was built in 1905 for Lucien Boneparte Covell and Anna Moore Covell. The couple lived in the home until they died, in 1923 and 1926. In Tallahassee, Florida, on December 21, 1999, a memorial service is held for a former FBI agent named Raymond Crouch. His widow is approached by a mysterious man, Mark Johnson (Holmes Osborne), who claims to have worked with her husband. After the other mourners have left, Johnson returns to the funeral parlor, dons the corpse's clothes, and places a cell phone in the coffin. One week later, Johnson is monitoring Crouch's grave when his phone rings; he walks towards the grave with a shovel.

The Riddle House in 1920 The Riddle House was built in 1905 by the constructors of Henry Flagler's hotels, using leftover wood. Originally located at 327 Acacia Street in West Palm Beach, the house was nicknamed "the painted lady", because of its bright colors. The Riddle House was originally a funeral parlor, known as "Gatekeeper's Cottage", at Woodlawn Cemetery, which was the first cemetery in the city of West Palm Beach. It was acquired by Karl Riddle in 1920, who is the namesake of the house.
Matt Lamb at his studio in Chicago Matt Lamb was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1932. He was the son of a funeral director Matt Lamb Sr. who bought the Blake-Lamb funeral home in 1928. At the age of 18 Matt Lamb Jr. became a partner in the business and transformed the funeral parlor into a prominent chain of funeral enterprises. The intersection on which the library stands also contains a Greek Revival home (now a funeral parlor), a High Victorian Gothic brick home (now housing the local Masonic Temple) and a classic Victorian "Painted Lady" home, still a private residence. In the process, Shu has to deal with the burden his ability puts on his shoulders and the horrific mystery of his past.

But after the government seals off the area where Tennouzu High is also located, the students begin to lose confidence in her despite assuring them her grandfather's men will rescue them. She loses her position of student council president after the students vote Shu as their new president but still continues to help the student council.
Towards that end, he cooperates with the secret society, Da'ath, to unleash the Apocalypse Virus and destroy the world Kurosu tried to save. After his plans are ultimately foiled by Shu and Funeral Parlor, he commits suicide by injecting himself with the Virus, cryptically noting neither he nor Kurosu "won" in the end. ; : :A 2nd Lieutenant Juvenile Officer and General Yan's son. Nicknamed "Kill 'Em All Daryl", he is a narcissistic, cruel, sadistic and unhinged individual who enjoys causing pain to others, and due to having mysophobia, he hates being touched by others, believing that they are infected.
But after Shu refuses to join them for an important mission after being traumatized over killing Yahiro's brother, Gai abandons him to continue the mission; steal the meteorite that originated the Apocalypse Virus from the GHQ. However, the mission fails when Keido and the Anti-Bodies start a second Apocalypse outbreak over Tokyo and proceeds to eliminate both the upper echelons of GHQ and Funeral Parlor. While Gai and several members survive, Gai's Apocalypse infection starts to reemerge. A determined Shu arrives to save him from the Anti-Bodies, and he joins Shu to rescue Inori from the clutches of Keido.
The fiberglass body of DRAG-U-LA was built from a real fiberglass coffin that Richard "Korky" Korkes was able to purchase from a funeral home in North Hollywood. Korky Korkes stated in 2013, it was illegal to sell a coffin without a death certificate. Korky made a deal with the funeral director, paid in cash, and it was agreed the coffin would be left outside the rear door of the funeral parlor where the Barris crew would collect it after dark. It featured a 350HP, 289CI Ford Mustang V-8 engine, with a four-speed stick shift.
Bradley married Betty Van Gorp (1924–2013), settled in Antigo, had eight children, and was active in numerous civic clubs, rarely taking part in ceremonies celebrating the flag-raising -- and by the 1960s avoiding them altogether. Night of the Demons is a 1988 American supernatural horror film directed by Kevin S. Tenney, written and produced by Joe Augustyn, and starring Amelia Kinkade, Cathy Podewell, Linnea Quigley, Hal Havins, and Alvin Alexis. The plot follows a group of high school students who throw a party inside an isolated funeral parlor. While attempting a séance, they accidentally release a demon locked in the crematorium that begins to possess them one by one. Filmed in Los Angeles in 1987, Night of the Demons premiered in Detroit in September 1988, grossing $3.1 million at the box office.

The Casketeers is a New Zealand reality television series that was first broadcast 13 Jan 2018 on TVNZ 1. The series follows a New Zealand couple, Francis and Kaiora Tipene, who own and run Tipene Funerals, a funeral parlor in Onehunga, as well as the other funeral directors and assistants employed there. The series combines humour and pathos by focusing in turn on the stories of individual deaths and bereaved families, the trials and triumphs of running a business, local and traditional funeral and grief practices, and the quirks and relationships of the Tipenes and their staff.

The city of Rochester did not have a place to treat the injured from this tornado, as there were only 3 hospitals in the state of Minnesota outside of the Twin Cities at that time; none were near Rochester. After the tornado struck, the meeting room in a commercial building downtown (known as Rommel Hall) was transformed into a temporary hospital. One of the businesses on the main floor of Rommel Hall was Johnson's Funeral Parlor, which like all undertakers in Rochester was called into duty as a temporary morgue. Doctors William Mayo and his two sons, William and Charles, took charge of caring for the patients.
With his memories regained, Shu rescues Inori from Keido's clutches in his plans to transplant Mana's soul into her body so he and Mana will spread the outbreak worldwide and start a new race. However, he is forced to kill Gai so that his weapon could break the pod containing his sister's soul, freeing her and ending the outbreak. After the outbreak, Shu, Inori and their Funeral Parlor friends Ayase and Tsugumi stays at Tennouzu High after the school is converted into a refugee center. However, the area their school is located is barricaded and lock downed by the Anti-Bodies who proceed to exterminate the civilians inside.

2008 conference booth Eugene Power, a 1930 M.B.A. graduate of the University of Michigan, founded the company as University Microfilms in 1938, preserving works from the British Museum on microfilm.
