After going on various rides and making fairy floss, they made their way to some hay bales to have champagne and to talk. Although a rose was tantalizingly sitting beside them, Tim elected not to give Katherine the rose as he didn't want to get swept up on the date and make a rash decision.

Meard Street today In her later years, Dolores lived a hand-to-mouth existence fluctuating between poverty and temporary surpluses if she managed to get work but she never had any capital and never owned any property apart from what she could carry. By November 1931, she was living in Meard Street, Soho, an area known as a centre of prostitution. In July 1932 she was ill in a nursing home in Dorset Square and in January 1933 she was living in a basement off Oxford Street. She last appeared in public "fasting in a barrel" at a fun-fair in Tottenham Court Road, in the same barrel once occupied by the defrocked Rector of Stiffkey,"Tragic Fates Haunt Paths of Great Sculptor's Models", The Milwaukee Sentinel, 27 November 1932, p. 3.
Most of the present-day site of Cars Land had been used as the "Timon" parking lot since 2001; the lot had been designated as future growth space for Disney California Adventure when it was originally designed in the 1990s, and was partially built over with The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the Flik's Fun Fair section of A Bug's Land. A small portion of Cars Land was built over the site of the Bountiful Valley Farm, one of the park's original attractions. As revealed in The Imagineering Story, initially the park was going to be called "Carland" and would be themed after the automobile in general. It was not until after Cars was seen as a viable franchise that it was rethemed and renamed "Cars Land".
The leader of the country, called Pharaoh (who is plagued by voices), declares war upon society's 'undesirables'. Drug abusers, refugees, criminals and the homeless are all considered equally worthless and entered into a restricted ghetto, called 'Dreamland' (set in a then dilapidated fun fair of that name, since restored), where they cannot leave. When Moses learns he was adopted by Pharaoh and is actually the son of an asylum seeker, he shuns his life of privilege to lead the ghetto's inhabitants in a revolt against his father. A series of 'plagues' echoing the biblical story attack the inhabitants of the 'promised land' including algal blooms which turn the sea red (like the first plague of turning the River Nile to blood) and a computer virus (possibly a modern reworking of the sickness in live stock plague).
The land is currently used for the annual travelling fun fair which previously used the recreation ground on the opposite side of Carr Road until that was built on in the 1980s. In April 2009, the football club announced plans to return to the Seedhill site although this is yet to happen. During the 1912-13 season, a two-storey brick-built pavilion was constructed at the town end of the ground which housed the changing rooms on the ground floor with the boardroom and an office on the upper floor. The pavilion had a centre gable and a balcony overlooking the pitch. On 2 August 1913, the Burnley Express newspaper reported that, according to Nelson's annual financial statement, the cost of building the pavilion was £649.19s.7d. On 7 November 1932, the pavilion came close to burning down when a fire broke out in the boardroom.
