The Morgans moved to Sault Ste Marie in 1887. The two-story section was extended to front onto Mill Street some time before 1905; this section was used for quite some time as Mervau's drugstore. The oldest known objects that can project images are Chinese magic mirrors. The origins of these mirrors have been traced back to the Chinese Han dynasty (206 BC – 24 AD) and are also found in Japan. The mirrors were cast in bronze with a pattern embossed at the back and a mercury amalgam laid over the polished front. The pattern seen on the back of the mirror is seen in a projection when light is reflected from the polished front onto a wall or other surface.

The school consists of one storey and is constructed in the Gothic Revival style from coursed squared stone with ashlars dressings and a slate roof, with diagonal nogging over the windows. The three symmetrical blocks which front onto Parkside Road are linked by corridors constructed in the mid 1900s. The closest of these blocks to the junction with Middlewood Road has on its roof a square wooden bell turret with swept pyramidal spire and finial. The stone boundary wall which runs round the perimeter of the school is also a listed structure.

Reynaud introduced the Praxinoscope-Théâtre in 1879. This was basically the same device, but it was hidden inside a box to show only the moving figures within added theatrical scenery. When the set was assembled inside the unfolded box, the viewer looked through a rectangular slot in the front, onto a plate with a transparent mirror surrounded by a printed proscenium. The mirror reflected a background and a floor that were printed on interchangeable cards placed on the inside of the folded lid of the box, below the viewing slot.

Gallitzin is a borough in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is bordered by Gallitzin Township and Tunnelhill, all of which sit astride the Eastern continental divide. Tunnel Hill and Gallitzin both are pierced by railroad tunnels shortening the necessary ascent for rails crossing the Allegheny Front onto the Allegheny Plateau which encompasses the towns terrains. Topping the gaps of the Allegheny, the area is one of only five major breaks in the Appalachians allowing east-west transportation corridors before the advent of 20th century technologies.

At the location of Syndale Vinyard is also the local brewery, Hopdaemon. The church's glebe lands, near the centre of the village, provided the space for a post-war housing development. Most of the other houses in the village front onto The Street and include Tudor dwellings, Victorian terraced cottages, and many houses now joined to make larger homes. He was awarded the Croix de Guerre for bravery in battle during the war.

The College has had its home in the City of London since its foundation, and has been at its present location, on Queen Victoria Street, since 1555. The College originally occupied a property between St Paul's and Thames St known as Derby Place, which burned in the Great Fire of 1666. The replacement building, known simply as the College of Arms or Herald's College, was re-built on the same site. When Queen Victoria Street was built it crossed the south end of the College's property and the building was then remodeled to front onto the new street.

Carbonless copy paper Carbonless copy paper (CCP), non-carbon copy paper, or NCR paper (No Carbon Required, taken from the initials of its creator, National Cash Register) is a type of coated paper designed to transfer information written on the front onto sheets beneath. It was developed by chemists Lowell Schleicher and Barry Green, as an alternative to carbon paper and is sometimes misidentified as such. Instead of inserting a special sheet in between the original and the intended copy, carbonless copy paper has micro-encapsulated dye or ink on the back side of the top sheet, and a clay coating on the front side of the bottom sheet. When pressure is applied (from writing or impact printing), the dye capsules rupture and react with the clay to form a permanent mark duplicating the markings made to the top sheet.

The zoom-ins or zoom-outs would give the appearance of flying away or toward the contents of the background plate. The disparity in lighting and color between the matted image and the background plate, the occasional presence of black matte lines (where the matte area and the matted image—in this case, Superman—do not exactly match up), and the slightly unconvincing impression of movement achieved through the use of zoom lenses is characteristic of these shots. Sketch of St Anne's Church, Soho by James Abbott McNeill Whistler Saint Anne's Church in the Soho section of London was consecrated on 21 March 1686 by Bishop Henry Compton as the parish church of the new civil and ecclesiastical parish of St Anne, created from part of the parish of St Martin in the Fields. The Church of England parish has been the Parish of St Anne with St Thomas and St Peter since 1945. The church and parish are part of the Deanery of Westminster (St Margaret) within the Diocese of London in the Church of England. Parts of its churchyard around the tower and west end are now the public park of St Anne's Gardens, accessed from the Shaftesbury Avenue end of Wardour Street, whilst the church itself is accessed via a gate at the Shaftesbury Avenue end of Dean Street, as it does not front onto the street.

Just east of the Murray Downtown Historic District and the adjacent Murray Downtown Residential Historic District, intensive development disappears as the street curves to the south between Murray Park and a long and thin golf course that follows the route on the north side. Residential buildings, a school, and small office developments front onto Vine Street in this section, but there are no side streets providing access for other development, so the open spaces are visible between the buildings. Vine Street continues south past Murray City Cemetery, then curves east again in a residential area. Vine Street reaches a stop sign at 900 East, where the cross traffic does not stop; since a redesign to favor through traffic on 900 East, Vine Street's route continues east from a four-way signalized intersection about a block to the south (the street heading west from this intersection is known as either 5900 South or 6000 South).

Temple A or Temple of Juturna Temple B, dedicated to Fortuna Huiusce Diei The four temples, originally designated by the letters A, B, C, and D, front onto a paved street, which was reconstructed in the imperial era, after the fire of AD 80. The area was delineated to the North by the Hecatostylum (one-hundred columns porch) and the Baths of Agrippa, and to the South by the buildings related to the Circus Flaminius, to the East by the great porched square of Porticus Minucia Frumentaria, and to the West by the Theatre of Pompey. Temple A was built in the 3rd century BC, and is probably the Temple of Juturna built by Gaius Lutatius Catulus after his victory against the Carthaginians in 241 BC.This identification is preferred over the one as Temple of Iuno Curritis, because Ovid (Fasti I) says: "Te quoque lux eadem Turni soror aede recepit/Hic, ubi Virginea Campus obitur aqua", thus posing the temple of Juturna near the Aqua Virgo, which ended at the Baths of Agrippa. It was later rebuilt as a church, the apse of which is still present.
