McDonald competed in the Bantamweight division of the UFC, where he challenged for the interim UFC Bantamweight Championship at 22 years of age. Muzorewa in 1975 On 3 March 1978, Muzorewa, Sithole and other non-exiled leaders signed an agreement at Government House, Salisbury, which paved the way for the interim government, the leadership of which was an Executive Council made up of Muzorewa, Sithole and Jeremiah Chirau, along with Ian Smith. Marshall Stanley Uwom was born in Yenagoa, present-day capital of Bayelsa State to the family of Stanley J.I. Uwom (JP), a businessman and philanthropist. He earned his West African Senior School Certificate from Okrika Grammar School in 1981, before going to St Lawrence College, Ramsgate Kent in South East England for his Oxford and Cambridge Ordinary and Advanced Level certificates. After his return to Nigeria in 1984, Uwom attended the Rivers State School of Basic Studies for a brief period of time. There he sat for the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examinations before being granted direct entry admission to study Law at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.

Due to Tony Bellew fighting David Haye instead of taking on mandatory challenger Mairis Briedis (21-0, 18 KOs), the WBC ordered a match for the interim WBC cruiserweight title between Huck and Briedis, where the winner would earn a fight with Bellew for the full WBC title or possibly elevated to full championship status if Bellew decides to vacate and stay at heavyweight. Negotiations were underway with a venue in Germany being discussed with the fight taking place on 1 April 2017. The Texas Museum of Science & Technology (TXMOST) opened in March 2015 in an interim facility in Cedar Park, Texas, with the vision of creating a destination science and technology center for the Central Texas area, and inspiring and educating both schoolchildren and the general community in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. TXMOST is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The museum houses the Austin area’s first planetarium, traveling exhibitions, and the permanent Timewalk exhibit, created from a gift of fossil and dinosaur bone collections which has toured the world. Plans for the interim facility include expanding the mobile planetarium outreach programs, conducting field trips and summer/holiday camps, and building a collection of permanent exhibits about science and technology.

After making one successful defense of his title, Arce drew a big-money fight in Tijuana against three-time former champion Michael Carbajal on July 31, 1999. On 23 June 2014, President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed, and Parliament Speaker Mohamed Osman Jawari oversaw a ceremony in Mogadishu marking the merger of the two competing administrations into a single three- region state, which is to be composed of the Bay, Bakool and Lower Shabelle provinces. The pact stipulates that the new polity will be led by an Interim South West Administration consisting of representatives from both sides. According to an official press communique, the opposing sides are slated to form a thirteen-member technical committee, appointing five members apiece to the body alongside three members selected by the Federal Government. The panel is then within ten days scheduled to prepare a roadmap for the interim administration's formation.

Miller had his first fight of 2016 on January 23 at the Casino Del Sol in Tucson, Arizona for the interim WBA-NABA heavyweight title against Donovan Dennis (12-2, 10 KOs). A tram outside the Auckland Fish Market, Wynyard Quarter, Auckland As part of the concept to make the new quarter more interesting, as well as accessible, a new tram circuit was constructed around the quarter, using two heritage trams on a 1.5 km $8 million clockwise track. It is hoped that the tram line will later be extended, to serve transport as well as tourist functions for the quarter. Such a link, initially to the Britomart Transport Centre was originally intended to form part of the initial works, but the global financial crisis scuttled plans to make the new Wynyard Crossing substantial enough to also serve trams, though the foundations for the interim bridge will be sufficient for a later bridge upgrade. The tram circuit was proposed by the Campaign for Better Transport and the MOTAT museum, and in Phase 1 includes a 1.5 km loop track with 4 stops and separate sidings to house the trams.

Father Joseph Strub, the founder of the College, was not happy with the Spiritan Superior General's choice of Father Power as the first rector of the Pittsburgh Catholic College, since he believed Pittsburgh's immigrant Catholics would perceive a German rector as more industrious and disciplined than an Irish one. In fact, he specifically requested that the rector not be Power, but he was selected nonetheless. While the German Holy Ghost Father John Bernard Graff served in Power's capacity as he traveled from Ireland, the Irish-born bishop of Pittsburgh, John Tuigg, showed his animosity for the interim rector's nationality and offered little support for the newly established institution, even refusing the Holy Ghost Fathers the right to exercise priestly functions at the College, such as saying Mass or hearing confessions. Father Strub left two weeks after the College was opened on October 1, 1878 for Arkansas, eager to avoid further provoking Bishop Tuigg.

Following a competition held in 2003, the Tekhnokompleks Scientific and Production Center, Ramenskoye Instrument Building Design Bureau, the Tikhomirov Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Design (NIIP), the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant (UOMZ) in Yekaterinburg, the Polet firm in Nizhny Novgorod and the Central Scientific Research Radio Engineering Institute in Moscow were selected for the development of the PAK- FA's avionics suite. NPO Saturn is the lead contractor for the interim engines; Saturn and MMPP Salyut will compete for the definitive second stage engines.
