Titus informed the New York Post that she was divorcing her husband. The two have since reconciled. Titus co-wrote the song "Florida Room" on the 1993 album Kamakiriad.

The house has approximately 2,000 square feet of living space. The attached carport at the northwest end is 658 square feet. The roof is flat over the central "Florida room" and low pitched at the front and back. There are a variety of window forms including window walls, horizontal sliding windows and clerestory windows.

The south half of Florida room ceiling was originally glass. In 1964 Hurricane Cleo damaged the glass panels and they were removed and replaced with solid wood, matching the rest of the ceiling. In about 1974 the sliding glass doors on the north and south of the Florida were installed as replacements for the fixed glass and jalousie windows. Salt air had corroded the jalousies so they were stuck.

The Hendry County Library Cooperative in Florida includes the Clewiston Library, Barron Library (located in LaBelle, the county seat) and the Harlem Library. All three libraries provide Hendry County residents with materials and general information, and each library has a secondary individualized area of focus. The Clewiston Library has a Florida room to house historical reference material and books pertinent to local and state history. The Harlem Community Library is located in a former school building which also houses the Harlem Academy daycare center and its specialty is a growing African American collection.

The Krak split in October 2009 and Clarke put together new project Spitfire in January 2010 (with 2 previous members of The Krak; Tom Lattimer and Tom Keane). The band did a week tour in Ireland and England. In March 2012 Clarke formed a dance-punk band with fellow musicians Laura Le Rox, Josefine Jonsson, Mercedes Di'Ett and Rosie Bans, entitled Her Majesty and played a number of gigs under that name including some in Amsterdam (supporting Florida Room at The Winston on Saturday 29 September 2012), until November 2012 that year when the band separated. She also writes for music magazines.

An Arizona room is a semi-outdoor recreational room found frequently in homes in Arizona, based on similar concepts as the Florida room. The room is often a patio that has been covered and screened-in, creating an outdoor feeling while preventing excessive heat and keeping insects and animals out. The room generally borders the back yard of the house and is often accessed directly from the living room, kitchen or other common room of the home. According to a website run by Phoenix newspaper The Arizona Republic, residents slept in their Arizona room during the summer months, before the advent of air conditioning, because the flow of cool night air made them more comfortable than in an enclosed bedroom.
